You woke up to Viggo licking your face. He was still just as cute as when he was a puppy. He jumped off the bed running to the door. You got up and walked to the door as well.

"Good morning darling." Loki walked in kissing your forehead.

"Good morning Loki. What adventure are we to have today?" You smiled sitting back on your bed as he looked at the portrait of him and you that you had done for his eighteenth birthday. You both got one to put in your separate rooms.

"Well, I was thinking we could go visit Midguard." Loki turned to you smiling. You got up giggling and ran to him grabbing his hand.

"Really?"

"Of course princess. I even got us both clothing from the realm." He used his powers to transform his own clothes into a green shirt and black jeans. Then he transformed your clothes. You wore a blue shirt with the white tree of Gondor, and some blue jeans. You both had on converse shoes.

"I'm so excited." You giggled as you both climbed down your balcony. Then Loki held your hand as you both walked to one of the secret portals you had both discovered when you were children.

"I know, as am I." He squeezed your hand.

Eventually you both made it to the portal walking through together. You appeared in a feild under a wooden arch.

"It's beautiful. Do you think we could one day live here?" You whispered.

"Perhaps so my dear. It all depends." He looked to you.

Then he teleported you both to the city. "No need to worry. I managed to get some of this currency."

You both walked up to a store where there was something called ice cream. You got the ice cream in a thing called a waffle cone and walked outside accidentally running into someone.

"Oh I'm sorry ma'am."

"No, I'm the one who should be apologizing to you fellow sir, for I was not paying attention to where I was going."

The man was blonde and had blue eyes that spoke more than words could. He had already lived a lifetime, and you knew it was probably best not to mention it. You only hoped Loki wouldn't mention it, for he would see it as well.

"I'm Steve Rogers." He extended his hand, and you took it.

"I'm y/n, and this is my..." You froze up using your powers to identify what they called the person they were in relation with. "This is my boyfriend, Loki."

"Nice to meet you, and Loki?"

"Yes my parents love Norse mythology very much." Loki spoke.

"Oh alright then. Well I didn't mess up your ice cream did I?"

"Oh no, not at all. Would you like an ice cream?" You questioned.

"No thank you. I actually must be going. I have to go work out and train a class. It was nice meeting you both though." He smiled.

"The same to you." Loki spoke, and then you both watched as he left.

"Well he was interesting." You held onto Loki's hand as you both walked to find somewhere to sit in the park.

"Yes. He seems to be a man out of time." Loki looked to you.

"I saw that as well. I believe we will be seeing Steve Rogers in the near future.

"I believe that to be true my princess. Ah here we are, a nice bench under the shade." He smiled as you both sat down.

You still held hands as you both ate your ice cream and observed people as they would come and go. He would whisper things in your ear about people that he thought was odd, unique, interesting, or funny, causing you to sometimes lightly giggle. Then he would let you have a spoon full of his ice cream since he decided last minute to get a bowl. When you both finished, you both got up and threw your trash away. Then you began to walk still holding hands.

"What are we going to do next my prince?" You giggled as you both walked on the bustling sidewalks of New York.

"I thought we could go to what the humans call a mall."

"A mall... That sounds wonderful." You smiled after saying the new word that was foreign to you.

Earth was indeed an adventure for you. When you both were children, you indeed had found the very same portal. However, it was the very first time either of you had found a portal. Loki didn't give you much time to even look at the field mainly because he didn't know if the portal would close. After that event, Loki began reading about portals. Then he began to enter the portal to Earth more often, and he would come back bringing you gifts and telling you stories. He also had found plenty of other portals that got him to different parts of Earth, as well as other planets. Unfortunately you never went with him due to his protective tendencies. He wanted to make sure that each planet was safe, or he at least wanted to make sure he could fully protect you. Now the day had finally arrived that Loki thought Earth was safe for you, at least this part of New York, as he told you, was.

You both walked into the mall, and you let go of Loki's hand, momentarily walking ahead of him absorbing all the sights. He stayed behind you, his arms held behind his back as he happily watched you take in this new place.

"Where shall we go first?" You turned to him grabbing his hand once again.

"How about we circle the mall, go in the places that catch our eyes, then we'll make it back here."

"Alright."

You mainly both chose the same stores and you both got things from the stores. You both even got Polaroid cameras.

"Their technology is quite different from ours. I think it would be interesting to incorporate both our technologies. Do you think Asguard will one day tell Earth about our existence?" You questioned.

"Not while Odin is in rule. Maybe when Thor becomes King he'll reveal Asguard. I can not tell if it would be necessarily good or bad. Only time will tell, or rather only when it happens we will know the truth." Loki spoke his thoughts as you both walked to where you entered. Loki used his powers to store all the bags from your mall trip.

"This mall was very convivial." You smiled as you both walked out into the sun.

"Indeed. Now how about we go to one of their restaurants."

You nodded, and he took you to to a fancy restaurant. Before you went in Loki used his powers to change your outfits. He wore an all black on black tux, and he gave you a emerald green long dress with golden jewelery and accessories.

"This dress is beautiful." You smiled touching the soft fabric.

"It's only beautiful because you are wearing it my princess." He smirked kissing the tops of your hands. Then he hooked your arm in his.

Loki walked you both in. He greeted a hostess.

"Hello. What it your reservation?" The man said.

"Laufley."

"Ah yes, Mr and Mrs Laufley. Follow me please." The man said leading you to a table by the window with a beautiful view of the city. Then the man left, and you felt the blood rush to your checks.

"Darling, your cheeks are as red as mother's roses. Is this because I said we were married?" Loki whispered grabbing your hands rubbing your palms.

You only nodded. "Well I figured we'd one day wed, but I just saw that a sum of people who come are married."

"Oh... Alright." You slightly smiled as a waiter gave you your menus.

Dinner went well, and when you walked out it was beginning to get dark.

"I loved our field trip today my princess, but I believe we should go back home."

You nodded as he teleported you both to the portal. Loki then took you back to your room.

"Goodnight my love, thank you for taking me on a wonderful adventure and getting me things as well as taking me to dinner."

"You're welcome darling. I had a wonderful time as well."

He pulled you closer placing a delicate kiss on your lips before pulling away. "I'll see you tomorrow my y/n."

"Tomorrow my Loki." You grined as you walked into your room where Viggo barked happily to see you.

You then feel asleep easily, for even though the day was fun, it was also tiring.

Loki on the other hand thought about you all night. His love for you was boundless, and he desired to be with you all your lives. Then he remembered a fond memory from long ago, and a soft smile formed on his lips.

Maybe history would one day repeat itself in the near future.
