It's been 3 years.. Since Ruby joined Avengers..
She is  like Natasha..
Master in hand to hand combat.. Shooting and Assassination..

This Master Assassin is head over heels in love with Mr. Winter Soldier or Bucky..
In this whole tower.. Other than Nat and Wanda.. She is closest to Bucky..

Bucky is like her 2:00 am friends.. He had been always there for her.. And vice versa..
There have been when Bucky would jerk up in night due to nightmare.. And would silently cuddle against her in her bed..
She totally okay with that... She knew his past.. She knew he needed fixing..

From Missions to Parties.. Ruby and Bucky and like inseparable..
And now Ruby is thinking of proposing this boy...

" You sure about this?? " Wanda asked stuffing a granola bar in her mouth

" Yeah.. I mean Girls can propose too.." Ruby said casually

" That's not the thing.. You sure that he feels the same way.. ? " Nat asks as Wanda nods

" Yeah.. I feel so.. I think..! " Ruby mumbled.. Suddenly her confidence was dusted

" What if he doesn't!!! Shit ! " Ruby suddenly realises..

" Don't worry.. I guess he will yes " Nat assured..

That night..

Being a light sleeper..
Bucky woke up at the sound of glass breaking..
He had super sensitive ears..
He tried to track down the origin of the sounds..
Panic captured his whole self when he realized that it came from Ruby's room..
He quickly rushed inside her room..
His heart stopped...
Ruby's Almost lifeless body was lying in the pool of blood..
" Ruby!! " He breathed out.. And knelt beside her..
She was stabbed ruthlessly in her stomach..
" Ruby.. Wake up.... " He screamed..
" Bruce.. Tony.. Steve.. Nat.. " He screamed out everyone's name but no one respond..
" Bucky.. " Ruby whispered..
She held her hand out to his face..
Bucky tightly held her hand... Tears continuously running down his cheek...
" You will be alright Ruby.. Keep your eyes open.. " Bucky cried out..
She cupped his face and smiled..She was about to say something..
But her breathing stopped..
She died in His arms...

" Ruby... " Bucky jerked up from his bed.. His breathing was heavy.. He was sweating profusely..
This was a gruesome nightmare..
But Bucky was heavily scared.

" What if Ruby is actually in danger..!!" Chills ran down her spine..
He rushed to Ruby's room ...

Ruby's slumber was broken by the loud slam against her door..
Bucky was standing breathless.. His face stained with tears..
" Buck... " Ruby said in sleepy voice.. As she approached him..
She cupped his face tenderly and a slight sob escaped from his lips..
" Nightmare?? " Ruby asked.

Bucky nodded his head positively..
Ruby smiled warmly and wrapped her small arms around his giant frame..
" It's okay Bucky.. It's okay.. It's not real.." Ruby whispered..

Bucky wrapped his hands around her body tightly and hid his face in the crook of her neck..
" I was so scared... I saw you dead.. Blood stains everywhere.. You died in my arms.. I.. I.. " He said with a shaky voice as tears trickled down his cheek..

Ruby's heart broke listening to he saw... She wanted kiss him right there and say I love you..

" But see.. Here I am.. In your arms.. Hugging you as tightly as can.. " She smiled as she leaned into his muscular chest.. Listening to his frantic heartbeat ..

" I thought I lost you.. " Bucky whispered..

Ruby pulled his chin up with her one hand made him look at her..
" You will never lose.. That's an Impossible thing.. " Ruby giggled..

Bucky gave a little smile too.. Ruby realised that his heartbeat is normal now..

" Come.. " Ruby dragged Bucky into her bed and covered both of them with the blanket.

Bucky happily settled himself in her bed.. And scooped her tiny self into his frame..
Her breath was Fanning his neck..
Her scent was calming his every nerve down..
Ruby wanted to cuddle with him till eternity..
His chin above her head.. Was giving butterflies in the stomach feeling..

" Don't ever leave me.. " Bucky said kissing her forehead.. He pulled her even close with his metal hand..
" I won't. " Ruby said brushing her fingers on his face..
She was looking at him with all the love she had...

She kept doing untill she saw him yawning.. His eyelids got heavy..
He nestled his face into her neck..
" I love you.. " He mumbled.. It was barely audible.. He mumbled this in his sleep..
But she heard it..
She looked down at Bucky.. Bucky find her asleep..
She smiled at him.. She kissed his forehead lightly and slept.. Waiting for the morning..

In the morning..

Bucky slowly opened his eyes trying to asses his surrounding.. He remembered coming into Ruby's room after that nightmare..
Though he didn't remember what he said..
As he was about to go out of the room.. He realises the door was locked..
Then he saw the sticky note on the door knob..
" You can't come out this room..
Not untill I ask you to..
There are clothes beside the bed.. Fresh up and.. Wait..
Ruby.. "
He chuckled at the note..
" J.A.R.V.I.S whats going on ? " He asked
" I sorry.. But I am not allowed to tell you this.. " It said.
He quickly changed himself into a hoodie and comfortable jogging pants..
And waited for the door to open..

After a while.. The someone opened the door..
It was Steve.. Smiling widely at him..

" Good morning Buck.. " He said
" What's going on? " Bucky asked

" You're gonna love it.. Come.. " Steve said took Bucky to the Living.. Where everyone except Ruby was present..

He looked around the living room.. Everyone was having a wide grin on their face..
" What happened ?? " Bucky was confused as hell..

" I will tell you what happened.. " Ruby said coming suddenly into the sight..
She had three boxes in her hands..
She smiled warmly confused Bucky and handed him a box..
" Open.. " She smiled.
There was a card inside..

Bucky looked Suspiciously at her.. She handed him the second box..

Bucky chuckled at the sentence..
His heart beat was getting fast..
" Ruby.. " He was about to say something when Ruby sushed him..
And gave him the third box..

Bucky knew what was happening.. His voice was getting chocked out of happiness..
" Wait.. Don't cry.. I am not finished yet.. " Ruby giggled and picked up the flower Bouquet which was kept under the table.. And knelt down..

Bucky couldn't help but let out a shaky whimper..
" Okay.. So.. I really don't have any prepared long speech for this.. I just want to Say that I LOVE YOU.. I love you like anything.. And I always want to there with you.. By your side. Through Thick and thin .. Supporting you.. Being you're strength.. So yeah.. WILL YOU BE MY BOYFRIEND?? " Ruby asked with shy smile handing the bouquet forward..

Bucky was spellbound for a moment.. He never thought this..
He never thought someone could propose..
The girl he loves can propose him..
He wanted to say so many things.. But he couldn't..
His voice was lost out of happiness..

He knelt down in front of her and took that bouquet from her hand..
" YES.. I would absolutely love to be your BOYFRIEND.. " He smiled through tears.. And hugged Ruby as tight as possible..

Everyone started cheering and clapping for them..

" Ohh God.. Ruby I love you so much.. You have no idea.. " Bucky mumbled..

" Well I do have a little idea!! " Ruby winked at him..

" How? " Bucky asked..

" I will tell you that later.. " She chuckled..

Bucky held her and made her stand up..
" Well I think we should leave them alone.. " Steve said.. Everyone nodded and left the living room..

Bucky cupped her face with his flesh hand.. His metal hand was resting on her waist..

" Can I kiss you?? " He asked.. Hesitantly..

" Please! " Ruby smiled.. And Bucky captured her lips with his own..
They moved in perfect rhythm.. As they were made for each other..

Ruby pulled him close by his neck.. And Bucky Chuckled at her desperation..
" Maybe we should continue this is in my room.. " Bucky said trailing kisses over her jaw followed by her neck and collar bone...
Ruby moaned at his touch.. Her knees felt like Jelly.

" G.. Great idea.. " Ruby breathed heavily. .

Bucky quickly pecked her lips and  picked her up onto shoulders. And headed back to his room..
" Put me down buck.. " Ruby giggled..

" Not so easily Doll.. " He said before closing the door tight..

Well this is little cliche.. But I still wrote this..
