HOMEEEERUNNNN!!!!

I walked from the bathroom and watched as Luna threw one of the books across the room, "What are you doing?" I asked before getting upset that she threw one of my books
"I'm sooooo bored." She moaned
"Well I'm trying to get dressed so unless you would like a little show either cover your eyes or come back later." I shook my hips playfully causing her to laugh and cover her eyes with her hands. I changed quickly into a pair of black pants and a green shirt with gold detailing, today was royal-duty free. "You can open them now dearest."
"Are you fully clothed?"
"Fully clothed and ready to read."
"Read? Aw, c'mon there's nothing to do here and I've read all the books!" She threw her arms out on either side of her body for effect. I walked towards her and picked her up, placing her on my lap.
"Then what do you suggest we do?" She pondered the question for a minute and turned to get her StarkPhone.
"We could see the new- oh that's not out until May. Well, the White Sox are playing today and my dad has always been a fan- want to go to a game?"
"A what with what?"
"C'mon, let's go." She grabbed my hand and dragged me to the BiFrost. I reluctantly followed.
------------------------------------
"Two tickets in Level 300 seating please."
"That'll be-"
"I know how much," Luna quickly stated before whispering, "I don't want him to know the cost."
The man nodded and took her money, handing her two tickets with a smile, "Enjoy the game and-"
"Go White Sox!" Luna finished his sentence and we headed into the stadium
-----------------------------------
"Homerun!" The scoreboard pronounced showing that the White Sox were up by one run. Luna had to explain the rules and terms to me but overall I thought the game seemed quite fun. Apparently the man who had made the run was a 'rookie' and hadn't played 'pro' until just recently. She said it was a real 'Trouble with the Curve' moment. I feel like half the time when she talks about Midgardian things that I'm either stupid or that I shouldn't be with her. We're from two different worlds.
"Luna?"
"Yes?" She turned to look at me, the temporary tattoo on her cheek still shining in the light afternoon sun
"I-I need to go inside, the sun is becoming a bit much."
"Okay, let's go."
"I can go by myself, you stay and enjoy your game."
"Are you sure?"
I nodded and walked past the rest of the aisle and into the air-conditioning. I sat in one of the large plush chairs scattered about and took a deep breath, I needed to do it. I just didn't know how.
"Hi." I looked up to see a blonde-haired lady smiling down at me
"Hello."
"You look like you're troubled."
"I'm not."
"You so are, what's wrong?"
"Nothing! Leave me be!" I yelled and she blinked back in surprise, "I'm sorry."
"Asshole."
"I said I was sorry!"
"Fuck off!" She marched away, blushing deep crimson. I turned to sit back down from when I jumped up to yell at her. Luna stood in the doorway and walked over.
"Loki, are you okay?"
"Yes, I'm fine. The sun is just bothering me."
"Do you want me to get you something?"
"No."
"What's really wrong?"
"I-I think I don't love you." She looked at me shocked and was obviously taken back by my bluntness
"You-You think you don't love me?"
"I think. I don't really know." I admitted truthfully
"Okay." She got really quiet and walked back towards our seats, I followed.
-----------------------------------------
After the game (they won), we stopped by one of her favorite ice cream places: Rainbow Cone. Neither of us talked, I had ruined our perfect day. All because of my mixed emotions towards the girl that I had been with for more than a couple years. "Do you want to go to a bookstore?"
"Uh sure."
"It's called Powell's. I've only been to Chicago a couple times but it-Powell's- was one of the first places that I've truly felt like I was at home or welcome here." I nodded and we drove to the bookstore.
"Hi Charle."
"The prosperous son returns!" He joked walking around the counter to give me a hug, "How long has it been!?"
"A few... oh, I don't know... years?"
"It's been too long." He smiled at her admiringly, "Who's this?"
"This is my boyf-" She stopped herself, "This is my friend, Loki."
"Like the Norwegian god?"
"The one and only." She smiled for once since the bomb that I threw in her direction at the game
"Does he know about the myths?"
"I don't think so." She smirked at him, I was so very lost in this conversation
"I'll get one." He came back a couple minutes later and handed me the book, "Page 37."
I followed his instructions and opened the book to that page. After reading the first myth I looked at Luna, "What the Hel is this?!"
She burst out laughing and Charlie stiffled a chuckle
"Your people think I did what?!" I gently placed the book on the counter before using my hands to talk, like Luna does when she's flustered, "I like horses, but I'd never have sex with one!"
I think Luna and I will get along all right whether we be friends or lovers.

So, part one of the lovely Loki marathon. I'm a little late with this one (I'm sorry), I had to take my lovely little puppies for a walk so my editing was late.
