Truth or Dare Pt.2

Kurt was in his room, hiding underneath his blankets and holding the stuffed wolverine that Logan had bought him for his birthday from a zoo's gift shop. Kurt had gotten Logan a stuffed cat for his next birthday in response. Kurt viewed the animals as sort of symbols of their friendship, as Kurt was often chuckling at Logan and telling him that he looked like a little wolverine when he was angry, and Logan was often fondly telling kurt that he was very much like a kitten in a lot of different ways.

Kurt felt a bit bad for kissing Logan. He wished he would have stopped to ask Logan's permission first, and that his first, and probably only, kiss with Logan would have happened privately, and under completely different circumstances. However, there was nothing he could do about it anymore. Part of Kurt wished that he would have just refused to do the dare, like he had the option of doing, but he figured he would never have the chance to kiss Logan again.

The people Logan usually chose to spend his nights with were nothing like Kurt. The few of them that were other mutants from the school often looked like regular humans for he most part, and any physical mutations that they did have were usually aesthetically pleasing, like fairy wings, or marks that looked like tattoos, or multi colored hair. Most of the girls were thin and beautiful, and the men were all fit and muscular. None of them were blue, covered in fur, and they definitely didn't look like a demon. None of them acted like Kurt either. Kurt just wasn't Logan's type, and he had to accept that. But it was hard to do.

"Kurt?" Logan asked from outside Kurt's bedroom door, knocking softly on it before just coming into the room, shutting the door behind him. Logan sat down on Kurt's bed, pulling the covers off of Kurt just enough to be able to see his face. "Are you ok? Scott's worried that he upset you."

"Scott didn't upset me. He didn't do anything wrong." Kurt replied, sitting up to talk to Logan properly.

"That's what I told him. Are you ok though?"

"Yeah, I'm ok. I'm sorry if I ruined the evening."

"I'm sure no one thinks that you ruined the night. But why did you run away?"

"I don't know." Kurt shrugged, looking away from Logan. "I just got embarrassed, and I know that you don't like me back, and I didn't really want to deal with how awkward is was going to be with you trying to let me down easy in front of all of our friends. I should have known that you were going to follow me though."

"Wait, I'm confused, why did you think I would reject you?"

"Because I'm not your type Logan, and we both know that." Kurt side, and looked back up at his friend. "It's ok though. You're my best friend, and the only thing that matters to me is that we stay friends."

"Elf, you're absolutely my type. You're the only person who is my type. I tell you all the time how amazing I think you are, I thought it was obvious how much I like you."

"What are you talking about? I'm nothing like any of the people you choose to be with."

"I've never wanted to date any of those people, but I do want to date you." Logan sighed, looked concerned. "I understand how me hooking up with all of those people could have been sending mixed messages, and causing you to be confused. I just didn't think you would ever want to be with me."

"Why wouldn't I want to be with you? You're one of my most favorite people in the world." Logan was quiet for a moment until he leaned forward and pulled Kurt into a comforting, loving hug. Kurt couldn't stop himself from purring lightly as much as he tried, and he rested his head on Logan's shoulder, smiling contentedly.

"Kurt do you wanna be my boyfriend?" Logan asked after a little bit, smiling as Kurt started purring louder.

"I would love that Logan." Kurt replied, hugging Logan tighter, and turning his head into the crook of Logan's neck.
