Teenagers AU

Kurt, Logan, Piotr, Scott, Jean, Warren, and Ororo were all sitting in Piotr's room at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters playing truth or dare. The seven teens were trying to keep their voices down, as it was kind of late at night and they were all supposed to be in bed. Most of them really weren't worried about getting in trouble though, as a lot of them had been living at the school for a while. 

Kurt and Logan had both been living at the school since they were children, because Kurt's mom had abandoned him as a baby, and Logan had run away from home when he was a young kid, and discovered his powers. They were both raised in the school by the various professors, learning about all of the things regular kids their age were learning, while also learning how to control their powers. Kurt and Logan had both become very close friends, and Kurt had been harboring a huge crush on Logan for a few years. 

Scott, Jean, Piotr, and Warren had all been living at the school for at least a year, each of them coming from completely different households, and completely different backgrounds. Scott and Jean had started dating a little while after Scott had arrived at the school, and had been dating ever since. It was no secret to any of the friends that Warren had a crush on Jean, but she made it very clear that she wasn't interested in him. 

Ororo was just barely a teenager when she was brought to the mansion from Egypt, after getting in a lot of trouble for thievery. She had become another close friend of both Kurt and Logan's, and the three of them pretty much grew up together. 

Jean had suggested that they all play truth or dare, an idea to which Scott, Piotr, and Warren all hurriedly agreed. 

"What's truth or dare?" Logan asked, voicing the question that he, Ororo, and Kurt were all thinking. 

"It's this really fun game where you ask somebody to choose either a truth, or a dare. If they choose dare, you dare them to do whatever you can think of, and they have to do it. If they choose truth, you can ask them whatever question you want, and they have to answer it honestly." Jean explained excitedly, and Logan, Kurt, and Ororo all agreed to play, though Kurt was kind of nervous about some of the things he would be dared to do, or some of the questions he would be forced to answer. 

"Before we start playing though, we need to establish a very important ground rule." Scott said, setting down his soda bottle and looking at the group very seriously. "If someone dares you to do something sexual, or intimate, or something that makes you uncomfortable, you are allowed to refuse to do it."

"Great! I'll go first." Jean said, looking around the room before settling her eyes on Logan. "Logan, truth or dare?"

"Truth." Logan replied, looking a little bored as he leaned back against the headboard of Piotr's bed, sipping his soda, and eating some of the candy from the large bag that Kurt had brought to the room with him. 

"Have you ever been with another boy?" Jean asked, looking very excited about her question. Logan had a bit of a reputation around the school. 

If he ever dated anyone, it was only for two weeks at the most, and he just hooked up with quite a few people. Pretty much all of the students in the school knew about Logan and his partners, and no one was really sure if any of the professors knew or not. Logan had always been very open with Kurt about his relationships, sharing some very specific details of his endeavours, and it was always a bit hard for Kurt to hear. He was practically in love with Logan, but based on the people Logan chose to spend his nights with, Kurt didn't think he stood a chance to be with Logan. 

"Yeah, of course." Logan replied, looking a bit confused by Jean's surprise.

"Really?" Warren asked, also surprised. 

"Yeah. Why is that surprising to you guys?"

"Because you just seem like this big, macho, manly man."

"Masculinity is a social construct, and sexuality has no bearing on a person's femininity or masculinity anyway." Piotr was quick to but in, shutting down any judgments that could be made about Logan before anyone had the chance to voice them. Piotr was a very accepting person of almost everyone he met, and he was constantly trying to make sure that other people were being polite and supportive too. 

"Alright let's move on. Logan, it's your turn to ask someone to choose a truth or a dare." Jean said, trying to keep the game going.

"Fine. Scott, truth or dare?" Logan asked. 

"Truth." Scott replied, surprising no one. Scott was a very predictable man. He was strong, unique, and a great leader, but he was simple. Logan had been expecting Scott to choose truth, and he had a question prepared that he knew was going to make Scott turn redder than a tomato.

"Have you and Jean done it yet?" Logan started smirking evilly when Scott began to blush profusely, and Jean just bursted out laughing. 

"That's not appropriate." Scott muttered, taking an awkward sip of his soda. 

"He means yes." Jean replied through her laughing, causing Scott to choke on his soda, and everyone else to start laughing slightly too. "Scott, it's your turn."

"Kurt," Scott coughed awkwardly. "Truth or dare."

"Dare." Kurt replied, figuring he should get whatever weird, gross, or difficult task someone had planned for him out of the way. 

"I dare you to kiss the person you have a crush on. If you want to at least." Kurt froze a bit. He had revealed to Scott that he had a crush on one of his friends, but he refused to tell Scott who it was. When he had confessed this, of course, Kurt didn't think the information would be used against him during a party game, but such is life. Kurt knew that he could refuse the dare, and no one would hold it against him, but he also thought that maybe it was time to let Logan know that he liked him.

Kurt took another long drink of his soda, trying to give himself time to gather up the courage to kiss Logan. When he felt like he might have been waiting too long, and he was finally ready to just act, Kurt turned to his left, and very quickly grabbed the sides of Logan's face, and smashed his lips against Logan's. Kurt pulled away from Logan rather quickly, and then before anyone could do or say anything, he teleported away. 

"Did I - did I push him too far?" Scott asked after a bit of silence, looking concerned. "I wasn't trying to upset him, and I thought that I made it very clear that he was allowed to say no to the dare if he wanted to." 

"I don't think you did anything wrong Scott. I should go make sure that he's ok." Logan assured Scott before getting up and leaving to go look for Kurt.
