K.U.R.T had been spending a lot of time with Logan, finding him very nice to be around. Logan seemed confused, and a bit nervous about K.U.R.T wanting to hang out with him all the time, but he showed K.U.R.T nothing but kindness, and it wasn't long before Logan began to enjoy K.U.R.T's company just as much as K.U.R.T enjoyed his. The two men became close friends, much to K.U.R.T's delite, and K.U.R.T found himself becoming more and more infatuated with Logan as time when on. 

K.U.R.T did as he was programmed to do, and would randomly bring Logan snacks, or blankets, or anything he could think of that might make Logan happy, even if Logan hadn't asked him to. Part of him doing stuff for Logan all the time was because that's just what he was programmed to do, but he mostly did it because he was in love with Logan, and he definitely didn't hide it. He didn't even try to. 

K.U.R.T would sit as close to Logan on the couch as possible when they would watch tv together, sometimes even going as far as to sit directly in Logan's lap. K.U.R.T would sometimes spend the night in Logan's room with him, because while K.U.R.T didn't need to sleep, Logan did, and sometimes he had nightmares, or a hard time sleeping, and he found that having K.U.R.T there helped him. K.U.R.T may have been a robot, and was primarily made of metal, but he did have skin that was covered in soft fur, because his creator thought that would help him be more comforting to humans. 

Logan liked it best when K.U.R.T would come into to his room without his shirt so that Logan could lay his head on the soft fur of K.U.R.T's belly. While Logan slept, K.U.R.T would hold him close with one arm, and run the fingers of his other hand through Logan's hair, finding that that relaxed the man a lot too. 

K.U.R.T loved spending the nights with Logan. Not only did it make K.U.R.T feel good to help Logan sleep, he also really enjoyed being able to hold Logan so close through the night. It was during one of these nights, where K.U.R.T was holding Logan close to him, and Logan was sleeping soundly with his face nestled into the fur of K.U.R.T's stomach, that K.U.R.T decided that he wanted to tell Logan exactly how he felt about him. 

K.U.R.T wasn't sure if Logan would want to date him, he was a robot after all, but he thought it was worth the risk if it turned out that Logan felt the same way about him. He also knew that, no matter what happened, he and Logan would still be friends. He actually didn't think that there was anything he could do that would stop Logan from being his friend. 

When Logan woke up, he stirred slowly, and then turned his head to look up at K.U.R.T, smiling peacefully at the sight of his beloved friend. K.U.R.T, of course, smiled widely back at Logan, continuing to run his fingers through the man's hair. Logan was always pretty soft around the edges when he first wakes up, so it wasn't surprising to K.U.R.T when Logan hummed contentedly and pushed his head further into K.U.R.T's hand. 

"Feels good." Logan slurred, his eyes falling closed again. 

"Logan? Can I tell you something?" K.U.R.T asked, feeling kind of nervous about what he was going to confess. 

"Of course Elf." Logan replied, using his nickname for K.U.R.T. 

"I'm in love with you." Logan opened his eyes and looked up at K.U.R.T, seeming to be searching for something in his face.

"Are you...even capable of love?"

"I was programmed to feel all human emotions."

"So you don't actually love me. You were just programmed to be able to."

"My programming allows me to feel all emotions, but has no effect on when and how I feel them. The love I feel for you is no less real than the love you might experience for someone else. I understand if you do not feel the same way though." Logan sat up and got on his hands and knees, looking down at K.U.R.T as he hovered above him. 

"I never said that I don't feel the same. I just wasn't sure if your feelings were real. I didn't think I could handle it if they weren't." Logan explained. 

"I can assure you that my feelings are very real." K.U.R.T replied, gazing up at Logan in wonderment. 

"Can I kiss you Elf?"

"Absolutely." Logan wasted no time leaning down to press his lips to K.U.R.T's. K.U.R.T immediately kissed back, and wrapped his arms around Logan's neck, holding the man close to him. 

K.U.R.T had never been more thankful that his creator gave him such a high capacity for emotions, as he felt happier there with Logan than he ever thought possible.
