Sick
Kurt groaned as he woke up, feeling like his head was stuffed full of cotton. He wheezed a bit as he rolled over, unable to breath through his clogged up, and runny nose. He weakly lifted a hand and reached over to shake Logan gently, who grunted roughly before blinking his eyes open and looking at Kurt tiredly.
"What is is Elf?" Logan asked, his voice rough with sleep.
"I think I'm sick." Kurt replied, his voice nasally. Logan hummed, and got out of bed, walking into the bathroom, and making Kurt whine at the loss of his husband. When Logan returned, he had a thermometer, and he sat on the side of the bed to take Kurt's temperature.
"Yeah, you're running a pretty high fever." Logan commented, looking at the thermometer after it had beeped. Logan ran his hand through Kurt's hair, making the man whimper a bit, and turn his head into the touch. "I'll go make you some soup."
Logan got up to go to the kitchen to make Kurt some soup, only to be stopped by Kurt grabbing his wrist, and starting to cry. Logan smiled fondly, and rubbed Kurt's tears off of his face with his thumbs.
"What do you want baby?" Logan asked.
"Don't go." Kurt wheezed.
"I gotta get you some food and water though." Kurt started to cry again.
"Don't wanna be alone." Logan smiled softly, and kissed Kurt on the forehead, before wrapping him in a blanket and just picking him up and taking him to the kitchen. Kurt clung to Logan, resting his head on the man's shoulder, while Logan got the stuff he would need to make Kurt some soup.
Logan set Kurt on the counter next to the stove, and Kurt quickly snuck his tail out of his warm blanket, and wrapped it around one of Logan's hands, leaning a bit closer to him. Logan chuckled and brought his hand up to his lips, kissing the pointed end of Kurt's tail lightly.
"How does this taste?" Logan asked, holding a spoon of soup up to Kurt's mouth, having already blown on it so it was cool enough for Kurt to sip.
"It's good." Kurt replied in a tired voice, chasing the spoon a bit when Logan pulled it away.
Logan got a bowl down from a cabinet and dished Kurt some soup and crackers. Logan then picked Kurt off of the counter with one arm and carried him and the soup over to the kitchen table. Logan set Kurt and his soup down at one seat, then sat in a different one himself, before quickly realising that that was the wrong choice.
Kurt started crying, and whining, reaching towards Logan, and almost falling out of his chair in an effort to reach his husband. Logan quickly got up, and picked Kurt up, then sat back down with Kurt in his lap this time. Kurt whined happily, nuzzling his face in Logan's neck, seemingly completely forgetting about the soup all together.
"I've got you baby." Logan assured, chuckling fondly at how ridiculous and clingy Kurt got when he was sick. Logan let the blanket Kurt had fall a little so it was no longer covering him, and rubbed his back. "Come on Elf you gotta eat your soup. It'll help you feel better."
"Ok." Kurt agreed, reaching for the spoon to eat his soup. Logan rubbed his husband's back, and ran a hand through his hair while he ate. Kurt wasn't really able to eat all of his soup before he got full, and felt like he might puke.
"That's ok baby, you did amazing. Thank you for eating anything at all, it makes me happy to see you taking care of yourself even if you don't feel very good." Logan praised, kissing Kurt on the cheek and rubbing his belly gently. "Do you want to take a bath?"
"Yes please." Kurt replied, humming happily when Logan picked him up, blanket and all, and carried him back to their bedroom, and into their private bathroom.
Logan turned on the taps, letting Kurt feel the water to make sure that it was a good temperature, and dumping some of the soothing and scented oils that Kitty had gotten Kurt for his birthday into the water. While the bathtub filled up, Logan helped Kurt out of his pajamas, and then set him gently in the water.
Kurt rested his head in his arms on the edge of his tub, and closed his eyes, humming happily when Logan grabbed a brush and started brushing his hair gently. When he was finished brushing Kurt's hair, Logan cupped water in his hand and dumped it over Kurt's back, then began to wash him gently.
"Are you feeling any better baby?" Logan asked Kurt quietly.
"A little. Sorry to be so much trouble." Kurt replied lazily, clearly about to fall asleep.
"Taking care of you is no trouble at all. I love you so much, and I'm so lucky to have you in my life. I'm going to give you everything you need until you feel better, I promise." Logan kissed Kurt gently on the temple, and on his cheek, and on his nose.
When Kurt was all clean and washed, and relaxed, Logan got him out of the tub, and wrapped him in a soft towel before grabbing the blow dryer and setting Kurt on the bed. Kurt hummed happily, purring lightly despite the sickness as Logan began to use the blow dryer on him, relaxing him enough to put him to sleep. After Kurt was dry, Logan crawled into bed with him, pulling his husband close till Kurt was laying on his chest and safely sleeping in his arms.
You're so smart, and I love it!
