Chapter 9 : Dance.
Virgil was bored.
Both his parents were working, which he knew was going to happen this Saturday.
Patton was babysitting and Logan had to go in work, so his Uncle Emile took care of him since he had no patients that day.
But he was getting bored of Cartoons, unlike Emile who was totally captivated by the bright colors and in depth plot line.
Virgil wondered off upstairs. He had read all of his books and he couldn't read the big boy books as he didn't know some of the words.
He didn't want to draw or color or paint. He wasn't in an art mood, he didn't feel like getting messy either.
He didn't want to go outside, due to it being hot out and in turn didn't want to wear suncream.
Board games required more then two people and his uncle Emile got to into games.
And that's how he found himself dancing.
He had turned the radio on in the kitchen using a spoon and chair and began dancing on the floor.
He figured out to move to the rhythm and even figured out to count to eight to make sure it was in time.
He wasn't the best but he did enjoy it and after the song was finished Emile clapped, scaring the small child.
"Oh sorry Virgie! You're a really god dancer!"
Virgil blushed, "I am?"
"I think you should go to dancing lessons!"
Virgil laughed, "nah!"
But Virgil spent the whole day dancing to music of all sorts and landed each 'move' in perfect time. Emile happily watched the child and would clap and cheer him on.
This lasted all day until Logan and Patton got home.
"Dada! Papa!" The boy ran off and tackled both his parents into a hug.
"Hey son." Smiled Logan, as Patton littered the small boys face with kisses.
"Well, you have a dancer in the family." Smirked Emile, packing his backpack.
"What do you mean?" Asked Logan.
Emile smiled, "Virgil was dancing all day, managed to get a rhythm and even figured out the beat count. He should start dancing."
"Can I?!" Smiled Virgil looking up at his fathers.
"We'll figure something out."
