Chapter 17 : New Cousin.

Virgil was dressed in a black shirt and jacket, watching Crystal Gems with Logan.

"Papa?" Asked Virgil, looking up to Logan.

"Yes?" Asked Logan, smiling softly.

"When Uncle Emy get here?" Virgil, the now six year old boy, had been informed his Uncle Emile was coming over with a guest.

Logan checked his watch, "very soon Virgil, very soon."

Patton was in the kitchen making cookies, he always told Emile it'd happen eventually and that eventually was now. Gosh, he felt like a proud father.

He knew he would have to be patient, just like how he was with Virgil at the beginin.

The door rang and Patton was the first there, opening the door and greeting the man, but Virgil wasn't focused on that.

He was focused on the small boy, who looked similar to his age, next to his Uncle Emile. He had brown hair, brown eyes and wore a white shirt with the words 'Sleep' on it. He had black pants and on his eyes were sunglasses that were way too big for his face and holding a travel flask.

Virgil smiled, he had freckles like him!

Virgil waved to the boy happily and the boy smiled shyly and waved back and his smile widened and rushed over.

Logan and Patton were still greeting Emile and the boy pointed to the TV now in front of Virgil.

"You like the Crystal Gems?!"

"Yeah! I'm Virgil Crofters!"

"I'm Remy Picani! Can I watch with you?" He asked, hopefully.

Virgil nodded and patted the space next to him and Remy got on just as another episode started and they began to sing the theme together.

Emile has panicked realising Remy was gone but calmed down seeing his new son was with his nephew.

"Oh thank god." He muttered.

Logan smiled slightly, "I think Virgil's going to take care of him in school."

"Yeah?"

Patton nodded, "sure Dee and Remus are a bit much, but they're lovely and they'll love him."

Virgil would have to go back to calling Janus, Dee due to Remy being new and Janus didn't want anyone else to know his name.

Remy smiled, "Emy told me you're going to the same school as me!"

"Yeah! I've got friends like Remus and Dee! They'll love you!"

"Yeah?"

"Yeah!" Virgil couldn't wait to show Remy to his friends Remus and Janus - now back to Dee.
