Chapter 13 : Get Out.

Warning : Huge Homophobia and a punch is thrown and bullying!

Virgil walked out of school, his head hanging down, shoulders slumped and his eyes watering.

It was nearing the end of his first year at school and he hated one boy. Michael.

After he got in trouble, he made Virgil's life a misery.

Roman tried to make him feel better but that I'm turn pushed him away because Virgil didn't want attention drawn to him and Roman was eccentric.

Remus, while he was obnoxious, knew when to stay quiet and soon became the boys best friend, that's when they met Dee. A boy who was bullied for having a birth mark up his face.

The three soon became inseparable and it helped Virgil a lot, especially in pretending everything was ok.

But today it was hard. Dee was ill that day and Remus left early for a dentist appointment.

Roman let him hang out with him and his friends, Draco Pythonissam, Elliott Emi and Kai Viverra.

However Draco and Kai didn't like him too much, Roman was off doing Prince things in his imagination and Elliott was so quiet and shy so Virgil didn't bother him.

Patton saw Virgil and frowned, kneeling down, "Virgie? What's wrong?"

Virgil shook his head and ran to the car and hid inside, shaking as tears rolled down his face.

The Dad made a concerned noise and followed and sat next to him, "kiddo?"

"I-I'm thupid." The boy lisped.

Patton frowned, "now why would you think that?"

"Mi-Michael tellth me everyday..."

Patton glared and kissed his cheek, "I'll sort this all out, because you're not stupid. I promise."

Patton has just put Virgil to bed and joined his husband in bed.

Logan glanced up from his book and set it down seeing the troubled look on his face, "Patton? What's wrong?"

"It's Virgil... I didn't want to say until Virgil went to bed... He's been bullied by the boy, Micheal, I'm gonna sort it out tomorrow-"

"I will." Logan said, "you get too passionate, I can keep calm."

"Are you sure?"

Logan kissed his cheek, "I am."

Logan saw Virgil walk out of school, Remus and Dee going their own separate way, waving goodbye.

Virgil walked up to Logan and held his hand, "hi Papa."

"Hi Virgil." Logan smiled, he still finds it strange how a small child has made him feel so much, even more then Patton.

"Can we go?"

"Just a second." Logan looked up seeing the boy and the mother from the day he was called in, walking away.

Logan gently pulled Virgil to them, "excuse me?"

She turned and stuck her nose, "what?"

"I believe your son and my son have been having issues in school."

"In what way?"

Logan frowned, "in that he's bullying my son."

The women give him a smug smirk, "listen here, I think he deserves it. I see nothing wrong with sorting out your kind. Disgusting. A man loving a man. And your son is already getting infected. He should get out!"

"How was school?" Patton asked as he set out dinner, it was a lamb hotpot and he worked hard on it.

Virgil looked up and shovelled a mouthful of the food, "it wath great! Papa punched girl!"

Patton dropped his knife as Logan look up at Patton and smiled sheepishly.

"He what?!"

"Patton... Sweetie, love of my life-"

"We're dropping this and discussing it later."

"O-ok."

Everyone was silent after that, Virgil could feel the awkwardness in the air. The tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife.

Virgil hurried to eat his food, said goodnight and ran off, not bother to ask, since he couldn't stand it any longer.

Logan felt his stomach turn, knowing he couldn't avoid the topic any longer.

"Why on earth would you punch a women?!" Patton whisper yelled.

"I was in the side..."

"Why?!"

"She was homophobic-"

Patton cut Logan off, "we've dealt with that before. You know we have. My parents are homophonic and you didn't care and neither did I. We came out and left that same day. The many priests we wanted were homophonic and so was Mr Gnaffer from geography-"

"She proceeded to insult Virgil in front of me and said he should leave because he was 'infected'." Logan cut in crossing his arms and suddenly Patton's attitude changed.

"And your Dad punched that man when he insulted you and even threatened my parents when they threaten to hurt me! Not to mention you should've punched her in the face and broke her hooked nose!"

"I've also been banned from the premises for a while."

Patton threw his hands up, "so?! You didn't punch her right! She didn't get hurt!"

"She could insult me all she wanted but-"

"Not Virgil!"

Patton was livid and was fully prepared to beat the mother until she was nothing but black, blue, purple and red.

"Patton dearest, calm down."

The dad scoffed, "I am calm."

"You don't seem-"

"I'M CALM!"
