Chapter 12 : Trouble.

Mrs Hanning saw Virgil's father and Romans mother, and the boys mother as well.

Logan sighed when he saw Virgil holding a frightened Roman, glaring at the boy.

Virgil never got into trouble so this was a new thing for both of them.

Mrs Prince sighed, "what's Roman done?"

The boys mother crossed her arms, clearly the women had little to no manners.

The teacher sighed, "all I saw was Roman push Michael down-"

"He started it!" Roman cried out.

Logan raised an eyebrow, "I'm sorry but what has this got to do with Virgil?"

"Michael claims that Virgil was bullying him."

Virgil frowned, "I called him a 'gossiper'." Virgil had now learned how to say the word, so he sounded less ridiculous.

Michael, the bullying boy, whimpered sadly, as if he was the victim of all this, "he also called me a baby and that nobody likes me-"

"Falsehood!" Virgil screeched, hearing his papa say that whenever there was a lie, Logan tried very hard not to laugh, "you called us girls for singing and dancing. You pushed me and held me down, so Roman pulled you off me."

"Nu-Uh!"

"Yeah-hu!" Roman retaliated, knowing Virgil was the most well spoken out of the two of them.

"Remus saw and so did Dee." Virgil spoke up.

Mrs Hanning nodded, "I shall go speak to them. I'll be back in just a second." She walked off.

Michael went white, knowing he was going to be caught out in his fabricated lie- falsehood as Virgil called it.

"You must be Mr Crofters?" Mrs Prince asked, holding out her hand.

Logan smiled and shook it, "yes I am. Just Logan please."

"I thought Patton was the father." Michaels mother spoke up.

"Yes, we both are." Logan said, noting the mothers nose stick up.

Mrs Prince didn't seem to mind, "just call me Mary."

Mrs Hanning came back, "it seems all Roman did was push him down out of protection. Michael was the one doing the bullying. Roman, I'm letting you off with a warning, you cannot push people."

"Yes Miss Hanning."

Said teacher walked off with Michael and his Mother.

Remus ran over, "you're alive!" He smiled.

"Remus what have you got on your face?" Mary asked, noting the pen moustache.

"Pen!" Smiled Remus, making Mary sighed and smile.

"Say goodbye to Virgil and Mr Crofters, I hope to see you again." Mary smiled.

"Bye Mr Crofters! Bye Virgil!" The twins chimed.

"Bye Mrs Prince, Remus, Roman!"

Logan smiled, "it was a pleasure meeting you as well."
