Evanna woke up with a jolt. She felt like she was taken somewhere for a bit. She didn't know where and when she began thinking about it, her brain began to pound her head profusely. So she shook it off standing up.

She decided to get dressed. So she put on her usual outfit for fighting. She didn't take it off usually. To Evanna, this was the last memory of the X-Men that will always hold a place in her heart.

Evanna ran a hand through her hair and sighed. She opened the door to the main room and saw Caliban taking off his gear from the outside. He looked scared. "Oh thank goodness." Charles came in, in his wheelchair. Evanna eyes widened and Charles smiled at her.

"Evanna." He looked at her with such loving eyes. To Charles, she was always so beautiful and always will be no matter what happens. He had a crush on her when he was younger. "Luara." was all he said and wheeled outside with Caliban. Evanna raised an eyebrow and followed them.

Once outside Charles called out, "Logan. This is Laura." he smiled at her. Evanna gasped feeling all the memories of this little girl in her brain. Charles looked at Evanna. "This is the little girl I have been telling you about Anna. This is Laura." he smiled at her.

Laura looked at Evanna and waved a little. Evanna waves back with hesitation. "We have been waiting for you. Come here." Laura came closer to Charles and Evanna. When she had gotten closer she looked at Evanna with a bit of confusion.

"¿Habla español, inglés o ambos?" Evanna asked and she held up her third finger. "Alright. Is your name Laura?" She nods her head and Evanna smiled.

Laura looked back at Logan and walked over to him. She yanked her bag from his hands and walked back over. Charles kept saying it's okay.

Evanna took her inside with Charles. Caliban and Logan talked while they went inside. Laura sat at the table and Charles watched her.

Evanna looked at Laura. "Do you want something to eat?" Laura nods her head violently. Evanna smiled and pulled out a bowl of her favorite cereal. Once she placed it there, Laura dug in quickly.

Evanna decided to take a seat for a second. Charles was reading her mind, and she was responding.

Laura then looked at Evanna. She used her voice to get inside her head. Evanna could hear her. "There are mean men trying to take me away from here. I need to find my friends and get them across the border."

Logan came in and tried to take her bag, but she grabbed it quickly. They fought over it for a while. "Logan!" Evanna yelled, and he pulled back. Laura yanked her bag closer to her.

"Logan the women that you met. That's not her mother. Her mother is-" Charles tried to explain, but he was cut off by Logan.

"I could care less who her real mother is. You need to understand it's not safe for you outside." he held pills to him. Evanna glared at Logan a bit and Laura made a joke. Anna chuckled and Logan looked up quickly. He hadn't heard her laugh in so long.

"What's so funny?" Logan asked and Evanna stopped laughing. Laura smiled at her and she smiled back. Evanna told her why she was ignoring Logan and she nods her head.

When the train made a very loud noise Laura seemed to be scared. Evanna smiled at her. "It's okay. It's just the train sweetie. Nothing is going to get you." 'not on my watch.' she said in her head. Charles smiled and he knew.

Evanna would be a great mother. Laura looked just like her too. Which was confusing him to a very strange extent.

Logan sighed and looked away. As Evanna told her it was just the train. Evanna stood up and walked over to her room. Logan followed behind. She sighed and turned around fast bumping into his chest. They were hidden behind the wall. "What do you want Logan?" She sounded annoyed with him.

She was. He was going to just leave her behind with Caliban. At least he had the decency to fucking tell her. She tried to walk out but Logan grabbed her wrist. "Stop. Please," he mumbled and she sighed.

Once he saw her beautiful blue eyes and short bouncing hair, he held her face in his hands softly. "You do realize that I am not leaving you. Right?" she tried to pull away but Logan kept her there. "You are staying with me, Charles and Caliban. I need you with me Anna." he looked down at her lips as she licked them. They were dry and she looked at his eyes watching them.

"Why would Caliban say that then huh?" She asked and he shrugged.

"It was a lie." He said and she shook her head.

"With every lie, there is at least some truth behind it. Even if he was exaggerating a bit." She pulled his hands off her face and she studied him. He was getting older. She didn't know why. She was going to find out though. Evanna shook her head. "Maybe it's best that I just leave. I mean, Charles is already enough to handle. You don't need me and Cali." She pulled away and Logan grabbed her.

He yanked her closer to him, their lips barely just touching. "I'm not letting you go like everyone else." He says and she felt her eyes water. Logan leaned in and pressed his lips to hers. She still tasted like strawberries and wine. He didn't know why, but it tasted like a drug to him.

Evanna kissed back and he pinned her against the wall. It got heated and then he trailed kisses down her neck and she almost let out a soft moan. That was until Charles thoughts invaded their minds. "Could you guys not do this with a fucking child here?!" He scowled at them and they pulled away. Evanna laughed and Logan smiled. He loved her laugh and missed it so badly.

Logan let go of her after kissing her head. He walked out and went outside again. She sighed and looked at Charles and Laura. She smiled as Charles talked to her. He always wanted children.

Then the train went over them again. But this time it wasn't the train. Evanna sighed and almost sat down. But Logan ran in. "Evanna." She looked at him. He threw her the keys and she caught them. "Get into the limo." She nods her head and grabbed a small bag from her room. Logan picked Charles up and took him to the limo.

Evanna didn't see the girl. She looked at Logan and Charles told him to get the girl. "Logan!? What about the girl?" Evanna watched as he got in the driver's seat. "Logan. What about the girl?"

"She's not our problem." Evanna's eyes widened and she tried to get out. But Logan drove off. She saw a big army truck break their fence. "God damn it. Shit! Shit!" Logan cursed and drove the other way.  But a truck blocked their way. So he drove backward and another one got in the way once again. "Shit!" Logan cursed and looked at Evanna who looked super confused.

People got out of the trucks and pointed guns at the limo. "Logan what the fuck did you do now?!" Evanna yelled and he sighed.

"Not now Evan," he says and she glared hard at him. "Just hold on. Stay in the limo."

Logan got out and slammed the door shut. Evanna didn't listen to Logan and got out. "Where's Caliban?" he asked and Evanna looked at him in shock then looked at the man in pure confusion.

"Why don't you tell me where the girl is first." he smirks and Evanna got angry.

"She not fucking here! Now, where's Caliban!?" Evanna yells and she glared as he smirked at her.

"Awe. Miss. America. How nice to see a legend in the flesh." Evanna glared hard. She didn't like being called that. She sounded like a god damn beauty pageant. She was anything but a pageant.

"Where is he?" She said through her teeth in anger.

"Well I did the same thing you decided to do to me," he said and Logan let his claws out, growling. They grabbed him but were pushed back by a force. Evanna made sure no one touched him. They all pointed the guns at the two mutants. "Seeing you both like this just breaks my heart."

Logan got angry and smacked the ground. Evanna saw him look around and then point inside. Her heart began to speed up. She didn't know what happened to Caliban, but she was not going to let them hurt her. "Check in there."  his man nods his head and walked away with two others.

The guy leaned down and grabbed Evanna face. Logan tried to fight back but he was pushed down. "Now what's a beauty like you hanging around with men like these old guys?" he leaned closer to her face and she growled. She pushed him back and he almost flew. "Damn. You still have it. After 297 years you still have it." he laughed. "And you still look fucking hot." She glared hard and moved closer to Logan.

There was banging and gun firing in the house and everyone walked closer to it. Evanna and Logan looked up and saw Laura walking out with her bag. She looked like everything was fine.

"Laura," Evanna whispered and Logan looked at Evanna. He knew he messed up. She was looking at the little girl like her own.

"Atta girl. Hey, baby."Laura threw one of his men's head at the group of me and she walked closer. He held his hand up to stop her. "Laura. Okay, I just want you to stay right there. You want to see your friends right?" she kept walking. Evanna held on to Logan as he struggled a bit to stand. He was defiantly getting old. That much Evanna knew.

"Get ready to fire!" the soldier said and the boss held his hand up closing it. Telling them not to go yet. Laura walked closer and dropped her bag.

"Laura. Stay right there." she drew her claws out and Evanna and Logan had wide eyes. Evanna was shocked.

"Holy shit. She's a mutant." She says low and Logan looked at her than at Laura. He then thought for a second. She looked just like Evanna. Why?

"Bad girl," he said and Laura glared. "Move. Go!" he yelled at the soldiers and Laura began cutting them. She grabbed her bag and jumped onto the roof. She was quick. The men began to shoot at her. 

Logan and Evanna got back into the Limo. She knew Logan was not going to let her go now. He buckled up and took Evanna doing the same.

He turned the limo back on and got ready. But a few guys pulled him out of the limo. He growled and began killing a few men. Evanna got out and used a fireball and threw a man back. Logan looked back at Evanna. She was not happy and he knew it. Logan threw a man over him and he snapped his neck on the ground.

Laura was being dragged by a few men and she screamed. Evanna tried to help but the men grabbed her. She yelled and kicked a few men. Logan watched as the two girls tried to get out of there holds.

Laura had claws in her feet and she kicked a man in the stomach. He grunted and released her.

Evanna kicked a man in the balls and he fell. She elbowed the other man and they both tumbled to the ground.

Laura stabbed the other man with her claw foot and she threw them down as well.

Logan was now very confused. They fought in the same way. He knew Evanna was very old fashioned and only she had a certain way of fighting. She always got the soft parts of a human and takes them down. Laura did the same thing.

Logan looked back and saw they were going to get Charles. Logan growled and ran to the car.

Evanna and Laura worked to get her to take them down. Laura rolled off Evanna as back and stabbed a man next to her. Evanna made a man flew back into a truck.

"Laura! Get to the limo!" She nods her head at Evanna's words. Logan drove off and Evanna ran to the limo. Laura jumped on the limo. Evanna got into the limo from the door.

Logan drove off and the guys were shooting at them. Evanna made a force field around the limo to keep it from getting blown up. Logan ran into the fence trying to break it but it wasn't working so much. The guys kept shooting at the car making them vulnerable at the moment. 

So he turned around and drove off into the fence near the train. There was one coming and the men were still following them. Evanna looked at Logan in shock. She heard his thoughts and they were not happy ones. 

"Laura, honey. Buckle up Charles and you." She says and she nods her head. Logan made eye contact with her and grabbed her one hand. She gripped it tightly. A man had ridden up closer to them and tried to grab Laura. But Evanna glared at the man and sent him flying with the wave of her hand. A truck to ram them, trying to flip the truck. Evanna focused and tried her best to keep calm. 

Logan then made a sharp left and the train hit the limo just a bit. Evanna hated cars. The one thing she was really afraid of. So Logan felt bad for doing it but he had to lose them. The trucks and cars couldn't get to their side. She sighed and sat back trying not to scream in anger. Logan chuckled a little, but she didn't find it amusing at all. 

"Kid?" Laura looked back from the window. "Who the hell are ya?" She just looked back. "Hey! I asked you a question. Who are ya!?"

"Logan she can't talk," Evanna said sighing. Charles was a bit shocked from the action.

"You know who she is Logan," Charles said and Logan shook his head. 

"No I don't." he was not happy at the moment. Evanna held his hand so he would calm down. 

"She remind you of anybody? To you both?" Evanna looked back, there were only two people in the world with that mutation. Logan and his brother. She was related to him. But Logan had his mind thinking that she could also be related to Evan. 

During the silent ride of the awkwardness that is Logan and Evanna, Evan couldn't help but wonder what had happened to Caliban. She sighed and placed her head on the dash. Logan rubbed her back in comfort. She turned her head to look at him and smiled lightly. 

She just only hoped that he was okay. He was a good friend and he didn't deserve what they did to him. He didn't deserve any of this. The cooking and cleaning after them. Although Evanna did most of it. But still. He wasn't a man to be doing chores for everyone. He was a tracker. She just hoped he wasn't dead.
