Chapter. 14

(Listen to the song while you read. It will make this a whole lot better. I promise.) - Q.S.

It had been a year since Evanna had come to terms with Logan being gone. Evan had made it back to Manhatten. It took some time but it was worth it. The school was back up and running. The school looked beautiful and had statues of the old X-men. Even Logan Evanna stood on the balcony looking out. It was a beautiful day. Bright sunny. Evanna sighed with a smile. "Welcome home." She says softly and then hear a knock on her door.

Evanna smiled brighter and turned to see class has arrived. "Come on in. Take a seat." She says and then went to her desk and sat on top of it. There were many children that had different colors of skin and one guy with three eyes. They were all different but they were all amazing. Once the door had closed she cleared her throat. "Today, I will be teaching you History and why it is important." The kids were respectful and listened. "Can anyone tell me what they know about the American revolution?"

A girl with blue hair raised her hand high up. Evanna nods her head for her to say her part. "It was the war where we had gained our independence from Great Britain." She says.

"Very good Sofia. It was the war where we had split off from England. Can anyone tell me about the Templar war with the Assassins of Creed?" No one raised their hands. She smiled brightly and stood up. "This is where I come in." She pulled the map from the blackboard up and it showed the one and only Bayek. The first of the assassins. "Now...let's get started. I suggest you all begin to take notes, pictures, or anything to help you remember any of this. It will take a long time till we are finished." She says and hears a knock on the door before she could say anything else. "Come in." She says and the door opens revealing Wanda Maximoff. "Everyone this is Wanda. She is the daughter of Eric. Xavier's brother."

The classed gasped and began to whisper. Wanda glared playfully at Evan. She laughed and walked over to Anna. "You have a certain red, tight-skinned, suit, visitor downstairs. He keeps insulting the way the school looks. Says he could have done better." Wanda says and Evan knew who it was instantly.

"Could you watch them for a bit?" Wanda nods her head and Evan walks out of the room. Going down the hall everyone smiled and waved to her. Evanna was the principle, so to speak, of the school. She kept her promise to Charles. Evan made it downstairs where she saw Laura about to sink her claws into the man in the red suit.

"That's why the suit is red. So when mean people like you want to stab me it doesn't ruin it." He says and Laura turned sensing her mother.

"Laura. Go find Lucius." Laura nods her head and curses the man in Spanish. "Language." She warned her and Laura sighed. Her black hair swinging behind her. Laura was twelve now and Lucius eighteen. It had been a long year for all of them. "Wade. Nice to see you again." Wade laughed and walked in kicking the door behind him.

"I do like what you had done with the school." Wade tries to sweeten her up but she glared.

"Yeah, no. I heard from Wanda that you were just insulting it." Wade frowned and walked closer to her. "What are you doing here Wade?"

"I- I actually have zero clue. Maybe I thought that if I came into your movie, or book it would be interesting." He says winking at something. (You guys of course!)

"Still 'breaking fourth walls' I see." She walked away from him. Wade quickly followed after her.

"I am thank you very much. So hows everyone doing. I know Laura is as angry as her father. Good kid. Bad temper." He chuckled which ended up with him getting a smack on the head. "Ouch." He rubbed the back as if that would make it feel better.

"Seriously Wade. I have a class I need to teach and you are wasting my time." She tried to walk back to her class but Wade said-

"Wait! Alright! I have a daughter that I would like for her to be enrolled here." He says with a British voice. This caused Evanna to stop walking. She turned and raised an eyebrow. "Yeah. I know. I have a daughter. Her names, Elenor." He sounded serious. For once he actually sounded serious. "I don't want anyone trying to come after her again so I thought she would be better here. If that is okay with you."

Evan smiled brightly and nods her head. "Yeah! I would love to meet her. Does she have any powers?" Wade nods his head and rubs the back of his neck. His white eyes in the mask closed as if he didn't want to tell her what they were.

"She isn't like me. I mean she had the healing factor and everything except that she...well She's like Jean. Jean Gray." Evans' heart clenched hearing that name. Was this girl like her?

"Bring her in as soon as you can. I promise Wade I'll keep her safe." Wade smiles and brings her into a hug. He tried to give her a bone-crushing hug but he wasn't that strong. She pats his back and then he lets go of her. Evan wasn't much of a hugger. Never was until she met her children.

"Thank you! I'll bring her tomorrow." Then he walks to the door and turns to face her. "I really mean it, Anna. They would all be proud of what you are doing." Wade says and Evan smiled looking slightly down. "Bye!" He slammed the door shut. The pictures on the wall began to shake a little.

"I really hope she isn't like him," Evan says walking away. But the bell rang above her letting her know that lunch had begun. "Shi-"

"Watch your mouth. There are children present." Victor says behind her she chuckled and turned to see the old man.

"Hey, there old man. How was class?" Victor glared at her and she just smirked.

"You know just because you were my brother's girlfriend, doesn't mean you get to be rude to me." She giggled and wrapped an arm around his. "How are you doing by the way? I heard Laura brought him up earlier. Said something about him dying, being her fault."

Evan sighed dragging him to the kitchen. "Yeah. Laura thinks Logan died because of her. She dragged him all the way out across the country and he died. But she didn't. Only one man killed Logan." Victor knew it was Stryker. He was the one who poisoned his brother. "Lucius has been a big help. I'm proud of him. Laura though, she is just so much like her father it scares me." She smiled softly and Victor sighed.

"Hey. Look at me." Evan turned and looked at him. His hair was so grey it looked white. He was seriously getting old. His face still had that pepper shave look to it. "He knows you are doing the best you can. You're a great mother Anna."

She smiled and sighed. She saw Nightcrawler and Graydon. She smiled and Victor looked up to see his son with his half-brother. "She would be proud to, Vic." Gloria came down the stairs and saw her brothers. She sneaked behind them and pushed them to the ground. They both growled out in anger. "I better break that fight up quickly." She dismissed herself and Victor smile and looked over to his right. Through the window and gardern, he could see Logan's statute.

"She's a mess, but she's getting through it just fine. Love you, little brother." Victor walked away leaving the statue in peace. Logan's statute stood high and mighty. He was a hero and the kids look up to him. Just as Evanna has. The stone Logan had his claws out and his arms crossed. It was the same pose he had when Charles had taken a picture of Him with Evanna.

Her smile was bright as she looked up at him. He had that signature smirk on his face as he slightly looked at her. That was when he had begun to notice his feelings for her. He loved her icy blue eyes and her bright smile. That short brown hair that smelled like cherries and coconuts. It was wild and stood up in different places. It worked for her. It worked for him.

James, Logan, Howlett will always be remembered as a hero, a great friend, and a father.

Logan knew that Evanna had done a great Job. He knew she was going to be a great mother the moment Laura had stepped in. The moment he first saw her he was in love. He loved her anger. He loved her personality. Logan loved everything about her. Never in all the years, he had been alive would he have thought he found the love of his life. She still is. Even in death, he was waiting for her. He watched her raise both of their children by herself. He saw her break down in anger and sadness as she wished Logan was there. But he was. Logan was there every step of the way. Watching over her. She was never alone. She had Jean, Eric, Beast, Logan, Scott, Storm, Rogue, and anyone who had loved her, the way they did, watching over her.

They all couldn't be more proud of her. Logan wished he could hold her when she felt like she lost it all. Or the times she felt like she wanted to let go. He wanted to pick her up and carry her through the tough times.

Logan knew he would see her again. It was just a matter of time. Evanna had lived up to 2,347 before she had been taken by a mutant disease and she had been reunited with Logan again. She had made the school safe and had won countless wars against those who dared to hurt her students that she had called family.

It took a long time but they were now all one big happy family. Luara had gotten married and had a whole litter of children. Lucius had gotten married twice and had ten children. All who had powers. Logan held his hand out as Evanna came forward. The room around her was white. She smiled and let her tears fall as she took Logan's hand. He pulled her into the bright light and as they stepped into the light closed. They found one another again and this time they weren't going to let go.
