The next day Evanna was still passed out on the bed. Laura hated the fact that she was leaving her mother behind. Lucius knew that his parents were not coming along. Except when they left Evanna woke up and saw everything was gone. She quickly stood up and walked outside to see Logan running to her. "Grab your bag! We need to go now!" Evanna grabbed her bag and Logan grabbed the medicine and the needle. Logan turned to see Evanna looking like she was about to cry. He knew what he had to do. 

"Anna." Logan grabbed her face in his hands and held her there. "I need you to stay with them. Alright. Whatever happens, just know I love you. So fucking much." Evan let her tears fall. 

"What the hell are you talking about!? You're not leaving me to!" She yelled at him and he felt his heart was breaking. He had to save those kids. He had to save his kids. "Don't you fucking leave me, Logan!" Logan grabbed her hand and dragged her along. They ran as fast as they could. They saw the kids were being captured. "No." She whispered and turned to see Logan had already injected himself with the medicine.

"RUN!" He yelled at she shook her head and kissed him. Logan held her tightly in his arms. He didn't want to leave her but he had to do it. When he pulled away from her he knew she wasn't going to leave so he ran away from her to help the kids. She cried as she ran after him. The men had stabbed Laura in the stomach with a hook. She screamed and fell to the ground. 

"I want you to breath. It's just a flesh wound." The fucker says. Evanna growled out and he looked up to see her and Logan in the air. "Oh shit." He cursed and ran. Logan stabbed a man in the chest while Evanna grabbed her guns and shot the men in the face. Laura cut the metal cord off her and looked up to see a soldier was about to stab her mother. She let out a growl and killed him. The men were surrounding the family but they began killing them one by one. Logan threw one man over Evans back and Laura stabbed him. The Laura threw a man at Evan and she crushed his head with her hands. 

"Logan!" Evanna yelled and he ran over to his family. 

Logan bends down to Laura and pushed the hair from her face. "Stay behind us." Laura nods her head and they all ran back out. "Evanna! Get those kids!" She nods her head and ran to shoot the men in her way. Except her guns were out now. She cursed and threw them down. She had to use her powers now. 

A couple of men laughed at her as she had nothing in her hands. "Kill her." They say and began to shoot. Evanna had a force field around her and they were shocked to see the bullets stop moving. She smiled at them.

"Big mistake boys. You shouldn't have fucked with my family." The bullets turned around to face the men and shot towards them.  "Assholes." She muttered as she stepped on their bodies to go help the kids. Evanna saw one of the kids being tackled by a man. She rolled her eyes and lifted him off the child. He was confused but saw Anna with a pissed off look. The kid smiled up at her. She nods her head behind and ran behind her quickly. Then she crushed the man in her bubble and threw him to the right. 

"Thank you." The kids say's and she smiled patting his head. 

"Where is everyone else?" He frowned and pointed to a truck. She saw Lucius with a bleeding arm. She was angry. But she heard Logan scream out in anger and she knew that he was close. 

Logan and Laura made it over to Evanna and the kid. "Go with your friends," Logan says to Laura and the kid. They both nod and turned to walk away. "Laura?" She turned to look at her parents. Her mother was covered in blood just like her father. "You know when." She nods and walked off to go save her friends and brother. 

Logan leaned on Evanna. "You know you're making this out alive right?" Logan sighed knowing he wasn't

"Anna-" 

"No. You're gonna make it." He saw the look in her eyes. The same look she had when Charles had killed everyone in the school. Logan made a promise to himself to never let that look show up on her face ever again. He failed that promise. But he nods his head and she nods hers. They both knew that he wasn't. It was just something they were telling one another. Like a silent goodbye, just in case. 

The two both walk forward. Logan had trouble breathing and walking but he didn't ask for Evans help. She was fine with it. "Nine' o clock!" The man yelled and the soldiers aimed at the two Adults. 

"The Green juice mad it all pal! You're an old fool though, need to scale a short high." The fucker from the beginning says. Then he looks at Evanna. "Nice to see you, hotcakes. You wasted a lot of my men. That's not very nice."

"Why don't you come closer and let go of my son. Then you'll see what nice looks like." She growled out. 

"Waste this dick, dad!" Lucius yelled and the man shoved his gun closer to their sons head. Evanna was angry and ready to attack. But she was stopped when she heard,

"Please stop Mr. Howellet and Miss. Trueblood." He stepped closer and saw Evanna. He smirked remembering the times he had controlled her to do whatever he wanted. "Your gonna have to tell this bunch of file on these children. You don't want that. Considering the effect of the serum. It will not survive for the wounded." Logan didn't care at all. "Allow me to introduce myself. Zander Rice. I believe you knew my father in the weapon x program." He says and Evanna glared and stepped forward, but Logan stopped her.

"Yeah. He's the asshole who put this poison in me." He held his claws up and Rice nods his head. 

"Yes, he was one of them." He says with disappointment. Logan looked down and Evan smirked.

"I think we might have killed him," Evanna says and the man nods his head again. 

"I think you're right." 

"Show some respect, Muty's. You're looking at the man who fucked up your kind." Evanna's blood boiled with anger. So this is the dick?

"Well sorry. I don't answer to guys how just wave their dicks around." She glared at the guy with the metal arm. He glared right back. If looks could kill The man would be dead. 

"My friend Donald, exaggerates." He steps over a branch and looks at Anna. "He makes it sound more brutal than intended." He turns attention to Logan. Logan was hurting really bad. His skin felt like it was on fire. His heart was beating fast and his hair was turning gray to brown. "But that was not to end mutant kind, but to control it." 

"You want to make slaves? I will tell you this. Here and now. I will rip you into pieces before you could even enslave anyone." Evanna growled out and Donald duck stepped forward but was stopped by Mr. daddy issues. 

"I've realized we can't stop perfecting what we've even dreamt. We can use that part to perfect ourselves."

"Dude you talk way too fucking much. Get on with your little evil plan so we can kick your ass." Evanna said crossing her arms. Logan smiled. This is who Evanna is. This is who she was. The man sighed and looked at Evan.

"I'm trying to create my own mutants." He smiled and this pissed Evan off. 

"Like you did to my kids!?" He lost his smile

"These are dangerous times. You wouldn't be able to have children if the world was a problem-" Before he could finish his sentence Evan used her powers to lift him in the air. Donald got freaked out when Evan had crated barbed wire from her hands. They came together and curled in the air. They wrapped around his ankles first and then made their way up into his body. They all pulled out and ripped him in half. His screaming stopped as his body split in two. 



Logan was shocked to see that happen. Only one person had had that same death and that was Rice's father. The kids, as creepy as this sounds, cheered when he died. They all hated him and now it was Ducks turn. Evanna turned to him and he looked like he shit his pants. 

"Dinner time, boy!"Donald yelled and the soldiers let out the clone of Logan. Logan chased after him while Laura took the guards out near her friends. Evanna began to kill the soldiers one by one. Logan was slowing down a little. 

Evanna saw the clone Logan trying to stab him. She stood in the way and Laura screamed. Logan turned and saw Evanna bleeding out. "NO!" He yelled out but Evan was fine. Blood did begin to spill from her mouth though as she kicked the Clone in the stomach and he flew across the field. 

"Get them out of those things Laura!" Evan yelled and Laura nods her head helping her brother. Evan turned her attention to the clone. "Alright, asshole. Bring it on." The clone let out a roar and charged after Evan. Evanna smirked and grabbed a gun next to her and began to shoot at him. THe bullets didn't work but that didn't stop Evan as she threw the gun at his head. He almost got knocked back to the floor at how strong she had thrown that. 

He shook it off and grabbed her by her throat. "Big mistake." She said and his hand began to burn off. He dropped her and she swept kicked his feet. He fell and Evan grabbed the truck. Logan had finished the last guy and watched as Evan threw the truck on the clone knocking him back into a tree. The truck crushed him but Evan knew that wasn't the last of him. 

Laura and her brother stood with their group of friends gawking at Evanna. "Lucius, Laura." They ran to her and gave her a big hug. "I need you to run. Take your friends and run." She says and they look at her as if she was crazy. "Lucius. You need to protect these kids. Now!" She yelled and Lucius picked his sister up and ran telling the others to run with him. They needed to stay back. Logan came over and he was dying out. "Baby," Anna said in a raspy voice. Logan knew he was dying and this medicine didn't help very much. "I told you so." Logan chuckled. 

"I'm sorry, baby. I should have been a better man. I'm sorry I couldn't be that guy for you. I wanted to grow old with you. I'm sorry we had to have kids made from a lab." Evanna was crying as Logan started to cough up blood. 

"You were the best man I could ever ask for, Logan. But I'm not done. So don't you dare die on me." She leaned down and kissed Logan hard. They both heard the truck being thrown and then a roar. Evanna pulled away and smiled through the tears. "Just hold on a bit longer, babe." Logan smiled and looked behind her. Evan stood up and glared at the clone. Then she saw a metal pole sticking from the side of the truck. She pulled it off and looked at the clone. "Let's finish this." The clone ran at her and she did the same. 

Evan had smacked him in the head. He stumbled but punched her stomach. She grunted but hit him with a ball of force that sent him flying back. Evan spits the blood our from her mouth. Her ribs were cracked and they took longer to heal. Evan threw the bent pole on the ground and held her fists up. The clone smiled and went for her again. 

He punched her in the mouth breaking her jaw but she was pissed. She looked at him and her jaw snapped back into place like a puzzle piece. She growled out in anger and used a ball of lighting and shot him with it. He yelled out and fell to the floor. "Mama!" Laura yelled and showed her the python. "Catch!" Laura yelled out and threw the gun into the air. 

Evanna grabbed the gun and aimed it at the now sprinting clone. She smirked at him. "I'll see you hell." She winked and pulled the trigger. The bullet that was supposed to be for Logan's suicide was used on the clone. A huge gaping hole was now inside his head. 



"Daddy?" Laura's voice rang out in the field. Making Evanna turn quickly to face them. Logan was bleeding from his chest. Lucius was crying as he kneeled next to his dad. "Daddy!" Laura yelled and shook him awake. 

Logan's eyes opened weakly as he looked up to see Evans painful look. The same one she had when everything in her world crashed down. She limped over to him and dropped. "Dad. You can't leave us. Please, we just got you." Lucius says as his voice began to break. 

"Take them. Hide them and don't l-let anyone take t-t-them away." Logan let out and Evan shook her head. 

"No. You can't fucking leave me. We're in this together. Please. No one else is left." Evanna says as her eyes were now blurred with tears. Logan cupped her face and smiled. 

Logan looked at his children and smiled softly. "They'll keep coming." They shook their heads not wanting him to say this. That would mean he was dying. In which he was. They just didn't want him to. "Listen. You don't have to f-fight anymore. Don't be what they m-made you both to b-be. Your mother is h-here. You're not alone. Not ever. Not anymore." He was still smiling. Evan stood up shaking her head. This couldn't be happening. "Anna." He called out and she bent down and grabbed his hand. "I love you." The light in his eyes was fading out as he began to lose that beautiful smile. He chuckled a little looking up at the sky. "So this is what it feels like." He says softly and then...he was gone. 

"Logan? Baby?" Evanna called out but he wasn't answering. Laura and Lucius were crying hard as they hugged their dad. Evanna was angry. She stood up and began to kick and throw things around. Never hurting the kids. She looked up at the sky as tears were pouring out so fast. "WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME!?" She screamed out. If there was a god. Then why did he let Logan die? Why coulnd't she die. Why did she have to live? What was so important for her to watch everyone she loved die?

Laura and Lucuis ran to their mother and cried in her arms. She held them as her heart was breaking. But she looked down and saw her kids. They were apart of Logan. They were the only ones left. Evanna sniffled and looked at Logan. Sucking up all of her hurt and heartbreak she walked over to him and picked him up. "We need to bury him." She says with a weak voice. Their friends came closer and the second oldest boy nods his head. Everyone walked further into the woods. 

Each stepped that Evan took was dragging her deep down into sorrow. But she knew she had to be strong. For her kids. For Logan. Laura was beig carried by Lucius as she couldn't walk without wanting to fall to the ground and cry. She just got her father. They stopped by a lake and the boy lifted the dirt out of the ground to make a grave. 

Evanna dropped to her knees and softly placed Logan in the freash grave. Pushing her tears back she closed his beautiful light brown eyes. The kids all went to pick up stones and rocks to pick up and place around him. They all place them down even Laura and Lucius. They were saying things under their breath as they placed them down and slowly Logans face was being covered. Then they were done. 

Laura grabbed her mothers hand and Lucius took the other. No one said anything until Laura began to say the words she saw in the movie.

"A man has to be what he is, joey. Can't break the moulds. There is no living with a killing...there is no going back. Right or wrong. It is a brand. A brand that sticks. Now you run home to your mother. Tell her everything is gonna be alright. There are no more guns in the valley." She finished and sniffled as her tears kept flowing. Evanna thought that was perfect. But she knew she had to say something. 

Lucius and Laura gripped her hand tightly. "Being apart of the X-Men was something you never wanted. Rouge...she dragged you into it and you stayed. No matter how many times you said you weren't a hero, you stayed and became one. You hated when people called you that." She chuckled but stopped when her breath was taken from her. She took a deep breath. "But you helped those who couldn't help themselves...You saved the world many times before and I couldn't tell you how many people and mutants have look-" She stopped knowing she had to say it. "Looked up to you. I can't tell you how much I looked up to you. You're my hero, my love, and my life. Forever and always. We're in this...together." 

The silence came after that. The kids all bowed there heads in sadness. But Evanna knew LOgan was right. Those guys were still going to come. They wanted their kds back and they are going to have one hell of a time to get them back. Evan looked around and smiled at everyone. "Let's get going." She spoke out and they all nod their heads. Picking up their bags, they all walked forward. 

Laura and Lucius walked with them and Evan looked at the grave one last time. Laura ran over and took the cross and made it into an X. For the X-Men. Laura ran back over and grabbed her mother hand. Laura looked up at her with those same light brown eyes. Evanna smiled down at her. She wiped the tears from her eyes. "Let's go, my little Kuekuatsheu." Laura had no idea what it ment. But Evanna did. She would tell her the story of the moon and wolf later on. For now. They needed to get to the safe place. They needed to move forward. Not back. No matter how painful it was to move ahead. They needed to.
