A couple of days later, Rory was very jumping and jumping when her phone would ring. She was waiting and waiting for her dad to call her back. Each day he did, she didn't hear she kept on thinking that he was just him doing his usual.

After a week or not getting back to her is when she was starting to become every upset and hurt.

She also kept on telling herself, "Maybe, he is stuck at work and maybe his phone is out with him, for some strange reason".

But, that theory quickly went out of the window, as she thought about it.

Because, she thought. "How long as this been going on? What is he going and/or doing that would keep him from not calling her back?! Another woman? The job? Lost his job, and doesn't want her and Lorelai to know".

She decides that she needs to talk to Lorelai.

"Ring, Ring".

"Hi, kiddo. How are you, you know"? Lorelai answering the phone.

"No, Mom. Dad hasn't return my call".

"Oh, Honey. I'm sure he will soon".

"Mom. It has been a week. I thought that he changed, but he hasn't changed one bit", Rory said, and then hung up. She wasn't going to get her hopes up.
