Chapter Seven : He's Here
"Wait how did you even get out without being noticed?" Darvin pushed him away and looked at Fearian.
"Look we don't have much time, we need you to get out here before he finds you!" Fearian begged him.
"He? Who is he?" Darvin was getting more confused and worried.
"Okay, I'll tell you what I discovered! That wasn't any ordinary entity! That 'spirit' belongs to a Dark Meanian and a real one!" Fearian couldn't control the trembling of his hands.
"You're kidding... Y-Y-You gotta be kidding me... " Darvin stuttered as his eyes widened and he covered his mouth.
"How did you even know that?!"
"That Dark Meanian told me himself when I was in a dream that wasn't actually a dream! But a way to communicate with other people in their dreams or whatever! I don't know how he did it but I all I care is that you are safe! Please!" Fearian approached him and laid his hands on Darvin's shoulders.
"But why us? Are we the only ones targeted?" Darvin almost cried.
"Because he knows our dad somehow and maybe dad knows him as well but doesn't want to tell us," he answered. "so I need you to warn him and take the kids somewhere safe, and if dad doesn't believe you tell the king right away!" He added.
"But what about you?! What are you going to do since you're out!? Does the king know yet?!" Darvin almost yelled.
Fearian sighed "I came here to warn you about the danger, and since I'm out I could finally do what's right for once... If no one believes you and does nothing, I'm going to stop him myself." Fearian looked away.
"But what if king Salvador finds out you're gone? They'll be looking out for you everywhere!"
"Let them see that I'm trying my best to be good at least." Fearian looked at Darvin again, this time with confidence.
Darvin opened his mouth to speak, but then hesitated and looked away in shame. "I don't think he wants to see me." Darvin confessed.
Fearian gave him the look of slight shock.
"What did you do?" Fearian asked calmly as Darvin slowly whimpered.
"After they took you away... After dad told you to leave in a cold tone... I-I... I couldn't stand it. So we... We fought, aggressively, until he yelled at me and told me to leave and... I did, along with the kids. None of them wanted to stay with him," he explained as the pain broke his voice.
Darvin didn't speak any further but cried and fell to his knees, Fearian slowly went to his height and laid a hand on his shoulder, giving him a gentle squeeze. "Look, do you know why I told you to warn dad? Even after we had our differences?"
Darvin looked up at him with blurry tears.
"I never thought about that... " He sniffed.
"I came here to warn you and dad because I'm still certain that he will have a change of heart, and because I still care about you all, even if he's been cruel before, and do you know who taught me to be kind?" Fearian asked.
Darvin shook his head.
"It was Nardo, back when I left home for the first time and thought about bad things about my dad, he told me to give him another chance. And so should you, even after you fought... Maybe he will be the one apologising." After all the conflict they went through, Fearian finally gave him a gentle warm smile.
Darvin hesitated again and thought about what he said, did Fearian finally showed his good side?
"I'll... Try." Darvin smiled back as he laid a hand over his brother's.
"Then let's go and get the kids to safety, then warn our dad," Fearian said.

"Why would you bring him back your majesty?" Wade followed the king at his heels in the silvery hallway.
"I can't let the men live like that, to kick out whoever becomes disobedient. I'm not letting the men decide while the king doesn't," King Salvador answered, resting his arms behind his back.
"But how can you be certain that he's going to change? You know that he'll let you down like the previous times," the big Fire Meanian suggested with crossed arms and a neutral voice.
"My subjects have to learn not to judge everything they see and teach them how to accept a changed man. For not all criminals are heartless." Salvador glanced at the Fire Meanian.
"Well, that's not the only thing concerning, what about his powers? Doesn't that bother you at all?" The Fire Meanian added. "Because I feel like this magic he possesses is a part of dark magic, and there's something big and sinister going on with him. That's why I don't trust that guy." He squinted his eyes.
"Red, he was spawned with that gifted power and he has it under control," Salvador told him as he rolled his eyes. "why don't you ever change your mood?" He asked.
"Because I'm not expecting the world to be free of evil... I had enough," Red answered.
King Salvador remained silent after Red told him about this true statement, there was always evil lurking in the darkness, and hiding in the corners of the world. But evil might also be hidden among his people, and maybe one of them was not ready to show it. He sighed.
"I think you're right about this one, since the Guardians disappeared from the entire land of Mashillia evil slowly became a little stronger than before." Wade sighed as he shrugged his shoulders.
"Think about the Dark Meanians that are also getting stronger without those Guardians," Red grumbled.
"King Salvador!" A guard called as he ran towards Salvador with high alert.
The king and the men turned around to see him approach.
"What is it, Veldon?" The king asked with a serious tone.
"It's Fearian Grevalon! He attacked one of the guards and escaped!" The guard panted.
King Salvador's jaw dropped as he slapped his forehead.
"So much for a 'changed man', I'm going after him." Red immediately took off as he caused the floor to quake beneath his strong and heavy feet.
"Red stop! God damn it! Guards I need you to go after Red and make sure he doesn't harm Grevalon! And bring Fearian here immediately!" The king barked out the orders and the guards complied.
"Oh dear... " Wade told himself in a small voice.

In the darkness, he sat sobbing loudly with his tears wetting his cheeks non-stop, the more his throat thickened, the more he wanted to scream louder. He never wanted to admit that he made mistakes, but rather than acknowledging them, he wanted to put them aside as if they never happened.
He was afraid to be called an irresponsible parent as they did to his son Fearian, and he couldn't believe that most men were on his side when it came to arguments. He thought maybe he provided evidence that he was there for his sons, or maybe they didn't believe what Fearian said due to his behaviour and attitude.
So he was a little relieved, but he was mostly guilty. Guilty for treating his older sons awfully and coldly when he couldn't take any more problems, he felt like he wasn't the perfect father he expected himself to be.
He regretted the time he told Fearian, when his eyes clearly showed that he was truly broken-hearted, he didn't belong. And he regretted the time he told Darvin to leave his house and never return. Just because his son exposed the awful truth that Onel kept pushing it away.
And that resulted in Gholt and Bryan choosing to leave with Darvin, now Onel realised how awful and unfair he was. Maybe because he got panicked after he was told the black star that shrunk in size, he knew something bad was coming. And after he heard about his sons' incident, he thought that the entity could be 'him'--
A strong knock on the door brought Onel back to reality, he sat there as his heart pounded loudly in his chest. Then he finally stood up when the door was knocked again, he went and grabbed the knob to open it. When he did he was surprised by the incomer.
"D-Darvin?" Onel called as Darvin stood there, biting his lower lip.
"Dad... I know that we fought tonight and... But I need to tell you that... We don't have much time to apologise because you need to warn King Salvador and get to safety," Darvin told him immediately in worry.
"Wait w-what are you talking about?" Onel stuttered as his body shivered, and his heart sunk.
"I just need you to be safe before he or it comes!" Darvin cried.
"Just tell me who is coming to get me?!" A chill ran down Onel's spine.
"I just know that the entity is coming for you!" Darvin's tears fell and he grabbed his father's arms.
But before Darvin could pull Onel, they both froze when they heard deep growling. Onel and Darvin slowly turned their heads to look into the darkness of Onel's house, only to see two glowing red eyes on a tall, dark silhouette that stood in the corner of the room.
"He's here... " Onel murmured in fear.
