This is a new day, a new sun elevated behind the mountain, certain said it looks like it is a day like the others but the HU Squad said otherwise. This is a special day, a very special one indeed.

Like every other special day like that, this one won't go unnoticed they will make sure of that.

Today is the 4th of October, and today marks the day the HU Squads weren't only placed on the field but also one year after they were proven worthy to go out there and protect people they were sent on a special mission for, and that special mission was to protect the children of HE Orphanage and all the people in it. This was also on October 4th.

Then Devonte found that day to be a glorious day so he proposed to them to be off the field and have the best time off their life since then that is what they did and that is what they are planning to do now.

Enoch just woke up from a lovely sleep with a lovely and random girl next to him with only the edge of the blanket covering the top half of her, butt naked.

He got up from the bed and did a morning stretch to help him loosen up tight muscles for the coming event, he put on a shirt and then went straight to the balcony to admire the ambiance outside.

Minutes later one of the HU Squards looked up at the tower and saw him there, beer in hand laughing, He yelled: “Oh come on, Enoch have you forgotten what day is today?“

“How can I forget, this day will forever be etched in our hearts Belmort” he stated as he put his hand on his heart while saying that

“Hahaha, you guys heard that?“ He put his head down, looking straight under the tower calling his friends out to say.

The 5 others walked up to him and appeared where Enoch could see them next to the first guy who was Agent 900 known as Baltazar big bald guy with great muscles.

267 known as Nakia was a lovely skinny ginger woman full of tottos, 444 known as Robertson, 242 was a tech-smart nerd with glasses known as Pete, 999 was a black and strong man known as Vincent and finally agent 076 known as Belmort.

They all gathered in front of the tower and started yelling with beers in hand “Cheers to that”

“Now Enoch escort that hoe downstairs and join us and celebrate with, let's get drank brothers,” said Belmort

“If I was you I would get back what I said about whoever is here with me if only I had someone Belmort”

“Why would I and don't pretend you don't have no one cause I know every night some bitches are always up there with you” continued Belmort and the others started laughing

The naked lady who was with him stood up and started approaching him “No what are you doing?“ Enoch said trying to stop her but she pushed him away and she got to the balcony anyway

“Who are you calling a hoe you big bastard?”

“Oh dear,” screamed Vincent while the others tried to hide their laugh

“Wait, what? Mom, I didn't know that it was you and what are you doing up there anyway?“

“Bro she is naked and you asking her that again,” Exclaimed Nakia, he looked at Nakia in a way and then turned his head to her mom all naked, like she came out her mama.

“I am a grown-up, can't I do whatever I want anymore?”

“Hold on, you got it all twisted I never said that, all I want to ask is why are you naked and in a room with Enoch, alone?“ he asked as he didn't wait for the response since he already knew the response himself “Hold on— you didn't do the— did you?“

“Ahh, you are slow asf Belmort” stated Pete

“I did not hear or see anything” added Baltazar while his eyes couldn't be detached from the lady as if he was hypnotized.

“Enoch I'm going to kill you” screamed Belmort while he tried to make his way up the tower but the other stopped him

“I can explain Belmort”

“No, you can't, let me go for fuck sake”

“You don't want to do that, I promised you,” said Enoch

“Come on man, the deed is done now nothing you can do about it, brother” affirmed Vincent

“Why is he so mad now? but when Roberson did it, he wasn't that mad” added Pete to make the situation worse than it was already

“What—What did you say?“ demanded Belmort

“You've got to open your big hole, didn't you?“ rambled Roberson “I know that If I tried to stop him the guilt would invade me and I would have no other option than tell him everything, this is why I shut my mouth and stay out of it but you—”

“No, you didn't— I thought you were my best pal” yelled Belmort as he advanced towards Robertson, fist close and succeeded by landing one punch on him and blood was coming out of his mouth.

And then they stop them from going any further again.

Then there his mom got down from the tower, and she came near him, passed her arm around him, and started to pet him.

“Hey, hey, now calm down Belmort— why don't we go to your spot and let me cook something for you, you look hungry and why are you drinking early in the morning? not good for your health” She grabbed the beer from his hand and started drinking it instead.

Just like that, they were headed to another one of the tents which was where Belmort crashed sometime while out of duty.

“But Mom, you said you were not coming till next week”

“I had business to attend to so I changed my mind sweety”

When they got away they couldn't hold their laugh anymore so they all busted out of laugh.

“What the fuck are you still doing up there Enoch? Get your ass down there quick” yelled Baltazar and minutes later he got down and they handed him a beer then he began drinking.

“It is a different story but you Robertson how could you do that to your best friend, you traitor?“ Questioned Enoch sarcastically

“She kept jiggling it while passing in front of me when his son was not looking, one day his son wasn't there so I said enough is enough, and tada” Explained Robertson and the other kept laughing

“Hahaha, let's drink up and enjoy this moment brothers and sisters” stated Enoch pulling themselves into a group hug

Nakia leaned on a pole, stared at them while shaking her head, and commented “Amateur, I am hanging out with a band of amateurs.“

With all of these noises, songs of happiness, and positive vibes only that were emerging outside in the hearts of these young soldiers, on the other side of the orphanage, where the HU squads were settling.

That side of Heroes of Eden Orphanage was like a training battlefield, with four towers, one on each side, and around each tower there were tents everywhere.

Then there was Jackson enveloping in like 50 shades of bedclothes in the middle of the docs.

Moments later he woke up slowly, pushing the multicolor bedclothes aside, trying to free himself, and he did that in a way so he couldn't wake them up even the one who was the closest to him.

As soon as he succeeded in doing that he put back on his clothes, and he barely opened the door to see if someone might be outside. Good thing for him that no one was outside so he made his way outside of the building without being remarked.

When he got to the other side of the building, he saw the messes they were already responsible for that early in the morning— note that it was only 5 in the morning, they just decided there was no time to waste.

Jackson turned his eyes to a little group two of which were fighting and the others were not doing anything to stop the fight but they were audiences. The ones who were betting on whoever won even tho one almost pulled the other eyes out, acting like animals.

Jackson comes closer and none of them remarks, he crosses both of his arms standing, and starts eating an apple hoping one of their eyes could cross paths with his.

Well, it was in vain cause everyone was midding their business.

A moment later they remarked that something wasn't right and that something wrong was that someone was waiting too loudly and that someone was Jackson— they suddenly stopped everything as soon they saw him.

They started to panic and wondered “What now? —Is he going to kill the vibe?“

One girl behind him whispered “Huh, he is such a vibe killer,”

Jackson heard her, he turned his head slowly to the right while looking at the ground to hear all they were saying behind him.

He pretended he did not hear anything, he then took another apple bite while turning his glare toward the two guys who were fighting.

“Carry on— and whoever wins got to sleep in the west tower tonight” he simply suggested. The crowd goes loud and larger as Jackson disappears between them all.

The party kept going for almost half an hour now— everyone was there but only one was excluded and it was Jackson and he was nowhere to be seen.

They kept looking for him, calling his name but it was all in vain, he never came out of his shelf to say “Here I am,”

Now it's been past 1 hour still no sign of him, the second in command saw that and suddenly was concerned, he got up from where he was sitting glancing all around him, he opened his radar device to all four towers then suddenly caught up to something.

A moving object or a person in the tower in the West then he immediately knew that it was his target so he headed there.

Once he got there, up the tower he saw Jackson hugging himself in a corner with a beer next to his foot looking straight outside at the sky.

“Hey Chief Commander, are you sure you are alright?“ demanded Enoch.

“Yes I am Enoch, now go back to partying” he responded without detaching his eyes from the sky.

Enoch turned his back on him and was about to leave and go back to partying but then he changed his mind, he grabbed two beers inside of an ice chest proceeded by going toward Jackson, and handed him one Jackson took it and then sat next to him.

Jackson was looking at him with that confusing look on his face for a bit but Enoch started talking trying to clarify things a bit.

“Look, you failed to convince me that you are okay, now I'm going to stay here next to you annoying you with my delicate words till I'm convinced that you are okay” stated Enoch

Jackson gave Enoch that ✌🏽please don't✌🏽look since he already knew how is this going to end but then he kept his calm and tried to keep it honest with him.

“Let me keep it real, I'm just not feeling it this year— we are celebrating which is a good thing but on the other side I don't see the accomplishment of which we are having such a big celebration” exclaimed Jackson

“I understand that before every 4th of October, we always did or fought for something big but if we don't this year it's also alright to be happy!“ said Enoch trying to convince him

“Be happy about what exactly? Our brothers and sisters are suffering or fighting some beings that we thought disappeared for almost a century and they are back out of nowhere while we are here eating, training, playing, laughing standing guard and anything never happened nor do we try to do anything to help and you want me to be happy?“ screamed Jackson

“I never said that and if this is what you got from the way I said it wasn't my intention— now what I'm trying to make you understand is that I know we were created to keep fighting and be happy while doing it but if one year we don't have to fight we should be happy nonetheless,” stated Enoch

“Man, I'm tired— I'm tired of waiting for them to call us and tell us that they need our help cause every minute we spend here standing guards is someone who has fallen,” mumbled Jackson

“I understand but staying here must be as important as fighting in the Smaerd, like it or not this is our mission, and remember when they sent us here they were precise, our mission was to protect the orphans no matter what.“ continued Enoch

“And that we failed to accomplish.“ added Jackson talking about that one orphan who had just fallen

Minutes later no one dared to open their mouth and speak first, there was an absolute silence in the room but not for long.

“It is safe to say we are losing control of what is going on— everywhere,” mumbled Jackson

“On that, I agree with you, we are,” confirmed Enoch

Jackson took a deep breath and then he proceeded by saying “Go enjoy your time brother while you can cause it may be not today but I feel deep in my bones something big is coming”

“If only we had the sight?” suggested Enoch

“If only,” added Jackson

“What about you?“ demanded Enoch

“I'll be down in a few” replied Jackson

Enoch stood up beer in hand and was about to exit then Jackson spoke again “Convincing yet?“

“Still not but I'll just take your word for it, brother.” he simply responded just before he exited the tower.

In midday, the celebration continues but quickly stops when to their surprise something that wasn't supposed to happen, happened.

As soon as they saw Mama Leah crossings over, everyone stopped what they were doing to stare at her.

“What is she doing?“ asked Nakia

“I thought she wasn't supposed to come here on the fourth?“ added Pete

“No shit Sherlock” rambled Vincent

She talks with Enoch and he tells her everything she wants to know then she proceeds to go to the West Tower.

Still, they stopped the music, and all of their eyes were still glued to her.

Enoch headed back to his friend and when he got to them, they were all curious to ask him.

“What did she want?“ Questioned Nakia

And he simply replied while sitting down “What we all wanted, for Jackson to have fun,”

“Ohhh,” they all repeated in synchronization

“Done deal!!!” stated Baltazar

Mama Leah got up there and her eyes fell on Jackson standing half-naked beer in hand, looking through the window.

“Oh,” she sighed when she saw he was half naked.

Jackson turned to face to unknown just to see it was Mama Leah “Oh,” he also sighed when he figured out that it was her.

“Let me put something on real quick,” said Jackson

“Please do,” she responded while covering her eyes and turning her face, acting like she never saw him like that before.

“Done, you can open your eyes now” said Jackson, and she did exactly what Jackson asked of her.

“I didn't expect to see you here Miss Leah, may I remind you what day is today?“ continued Jackson

“No need to cause I ain't here for long” answered Mama Leah

“Well, there must be a good excuse as to why you broke that one rule, a rule you put in place yourself ?!” mumbled Jackson out of curiosity

“I know and I am just here to tell you to go out there and have fun, don't just stay there doing whatever you were doing” ordered Mama Leah

Jackson got confused for a second but then he asked “Admiring the beauty of a sky we've got today—Hang on— but how did you know I wasn't—” asked Jackson

“Have you forgotten already that we have a connection, one no one would ever be able to break,” exclaimed Mama Leah

“Wait, what— I'm a little bit lost right now,” said Jackson

“It doesn't matter, just go out there and have fun, please— see you make me beg and no one ever made me beg before,” stated Mama Leah

“Okay, Okay I will— Happy?“ demanded Jackson

“I will when I hear you are out there” mumbled Mama Leah while approaching him and landing a kiss on his cheek then exiting the tower.

When she got out there all eyes were back from staring at her in disgust but as soon as she crossed to the other part of the orphanage the party resumed and this time more excitingly when they saw Jackson finally come back down to Earth with that same bottle of beer in his hand.

He raised it in the air and yelled “May the party start” and the crowd went loud.

Everyone immediately knew that it was Mama's work, all who were sending hate energy, and mad glares toward her quickly forgave her and appreciated her for being the only person to pull such a miracle on such a day, when everyone else failed to do it.

It was going fine but not fine enough for Jackson so he invited them to continue the party somewhere else.

“Hey guys, what do y'all think, if we go to the bar and finish our night there in beauty, it will be better right?“ suggested Jackson

“Oh yeah, the bar I'm down” yelled Robertson

“Let's good" added Nakia

“But did they know we were coming? it might be already taken for another event who knows” stated Enoch

“No, a matter of fact it was closing waiting for us to make up our mind so—” exclaimed Jackson

“Okay then, let's go HU Squards”

The crowd went wild again when they announced the news.

When they arrived, there was loud music, they were dancing, and some were at the bar counter while others were drunk and started to throw up on the floor.

The bar employees came as quickly as they could and they cleaned them up as if it never happened.

Then in another corner was that little group again consisting of Pete, Nakia, Robertson, Vincent, Baltazar, Enoch, Jackson, and Belmort coming back after the humiliation his mom put him through but he was chill as if nothing ever happened.

Baltazar started to explain a story to them, the story was why he became a dream cop in the first place.

Baltazar POV…

When I was 12, I was playing outside with my friends and that one cousin of mine who went by Mian, in the Smaerd.

I remember the laugh on their faces that day, they were happy and Mian was simply glad to be there.

He was two years younger than me.

We were playing that game named Got in the Graveyard, and it is a type of hide-and-seek but this one you have to play it in a graveyard.

To choose who was doing the seeking a girl named Madison whom I had a crush on took a little rock put it in one hand and then crossed it being her, seconds later she put both of her hands in front of her so we could choose.

Whoever got the rock going to do the same thing and if the rock stays in your hand last you don't have a choice so you're going to be the one to do the seeking.

All of them chose and they did not get the rock from Madison, unfortunately, there was one child left to choose from, and turned out it was me, I kept my calm, and pretended that I wasn't scared but deep inside me I knew I was terrified.

The reason why is that in this game no one ever wants to be the seeker and if that happens, you get a large graveyard in front of you to wondering into, seeing broken coffins and dead people in the process, and this was the nastiest Graveyard between them all, no one is ever there to take care of the thing if you dead and they put you there know that your family never like you. Believe me, they will never put foot there again to bring a flower and talk to you.

All that is to hope to find at least one of them before nighttime or even the sunset.

This time lucky me it was in the daytime.

So I chose and boom I was the seeker, I accepted my fate, and they blindfolded me, and they scattered all over the graveyard but to make it easy for me they had to sing those terrifying lyrics while running away.

I swear that these words would never come out of my thong but since I want to move on from that story and also show you how terrifying those lyrics were I'm going to sing it for y'all.

“Bring it” Sqwaked Nakia while she raised her cup and everyone started laughing then Baltazar resumed his story.

It started like this “I asked for permission to hide between you,

They sang that song for a few minutes then they went silent.

I unblindfolded myself and started looking for them, it was only 4 in the afternoon.

Ten minutes later in a blink, there was no longer sunlight instead it was completely dark, and from that moment I started hearing screaming all over the graveyard and the voices I heard were my friends, I ran looking for them everywhere like crazy but I couldn't see them.

At this point, I said “Fuck it” I'm going for my cousin only and forget about the others so we could get the fuck out of there.

I screamed his name everywhere I went hoping he could say something at least once so I could hear him and go grab him so we could get out of here.

Minutes later when I saw everything I had done was just for nothing I collapsed on my knees put my head on the ground and started crying at the terrifying song they were making and yet nothing I could've done.

Something came into me it gave me strength so I suddenly stood up and screamed as loud as I could, screaming at the top of my lungs and just like that thing I couldn't start appearing in clarity.

“The sight!!” mumbled Pete

They were in front of me all that time, crying for my help, and couldn't see them but once I was able to I tried to run up to them turned out I couldn't even raise one leg.

They were there in front of me with vines all over them and they couldn't move any part of their body, lucky me I could've moved any part but my legs but for them, it was otherwise all they could do was scream while sinking slowly into the ground till I couldn't see them anymore but my cousin's hair.

I tried one last time to run and this time I could, I ran and grabbed that pile of hair and pulled it, it just came out just like that.

Remember I told you it was only 4 in the afternoon when we started so after all that when I checked back again I saw it was 3 in the morning, I was so shocked I started running to get out and away from the graveyard to get home.

As soon as I put my foot inside my house I woke up from that dream and I heard them whispering that my little cousin was dead.

“They went out just like the lyrics said, but what with the time jump? These beings that did that must have needed them badly” exclaimed Belmort

“Exactly, it was simply a trick, a trap we git lure into but I swear to go back and finish the work one day since now I am more equipped.”

“It wasn't scary at first but now I listened to the story I know why you were scared to sing it again, I got a totally different vibe from it now…don't worry bro, we will be with you this time” stated Nakia

Jackson stood up, leaving them to talk to themselves and he went to the restroom.

As soon as he disappeared and was nowhere to be seen, someone who shouldn't have been there once again entered the bar.

It was no one other than Helda and two other unknown girls with their fake IDs.

She went to Enoch and tried to convince him to let them stay.

“Helda, what in the world are you doing here?“ demanded Enoch when he laid eyes on her

“I promised my friends to have some fun today so please can you make that happen for me —Please— I could have gone right into hiding but you see I came straight to you” begged Helda while making that face she always makes in others to convince Enoch.

“Grr— Okay, you guys can stay but for like 10 minutes, after it passes I'm going to have to escort you guys to the building myself,” stated Enoch

“That's not enough, please more?” Rambled Helda

“Take it or leave— up to you?” affirmed Enoch

“Okay— let's got something to drink girls” she suggested and the two other girls followed her.

“I Blame myself for his death if only I had these weapons I have now maybe I could've done something," continued Baltazar

“I guess we'll never know brother, you did all you could have,” exclaimed Enoch

They kept talking about how becoming a Dream Cop changed their life, that this was the smartest choice they ever made, meanwhile, the girls were sitting on the bar counter and some guys came and started flirting with them between them was another member of the SU - Squad.

Coming out of the restroom his eyes fell upon them, he was surprised at first but then he started walking toward them.

“Helda, this is not a place for you or the right moment to be here,” mumbled Jackson

“Oh shit,” murmured Helda

“What is happening?“ asked one of the random girls while the other was about to turn her head to look at Jackson, Helda Stopped her

“Don't look behind, we'll just pretend nothing is happening perhaps he'll simply leave us alone,” said Helda

They listened to her so they kept drinking, interacting with each other, and laughing like they never heard what Jackson said.

“Helda, don't pretend you didn't hear me 'cause I know damn well you did, now I'm not going to force you or anything I just wanted you three to follow me, voluntarily," said Jackson but a bit loud this time

“Wait isn't this Jackson?“ asked the other girl with a shaking voice, she was frightened

“As long as you don't look back at him, you'll never see the scary part, believe me,” affirmed Helda

“I give you guys 2 minutes,” continued Jackson

Now that one member of the HU - Squard who was flirting with them wanted to show them how cool he was, he stood up, walked up to Jackson said “Don't you see that the ladies want you to leave them alone, they don't want to go anywhere with you Chewbacca, now leave or I'll make you.“

Jackson looks at him and he ignores him.

“What is he doing, didn't he see that it's to Jackson he is talking to like that,” said one of the girls

“Hey, I'm talking to you Nuit Nuit” he squawked just before throwing a punch at Jackson.

“Derby no” suddenly stood Helda while screaming, rushing to stop him from making the mistake of his life

Jackson blocks it, pulls him closer then elbows his face sending him to sleep.

Not only he was drunk but that side of the counter they were sitting at was a bit dark with only a dingy red light, perhaps that is why he did not remark that it was Jackson he was squaring up to, even Jackson seemed to get it and that is why that agent was only on the ground.

“Chief,” rambled Derby on the ground

“Now agent 010 I know you are the youngest one between us and you still have a lot to learn but that did not give you any pass to do what you did” stated Jackson

“I'm so sorry, I didn't know it was you”

“Stop apologizing, and take full responsibility and consequences of your actions like the giant HU agent that you are” screamed Jackson mad as hell

“Okay, okay, I will accept any punishment chief just tell me what it is. And I will do it.”

He took his time to look at him then he said “I don't have time for that shit show now” he pointed at two other agents and then said “Grab him and go with him, you guys' party is over, and for his punishment, I'll take care of that tomorrow— now be gone”

They grabbed him and exited the party with him, Jackson then turned and looked at the girls for the last time, they saw the way he was looking at them they got scared, they stood up and started walking toward the exit without him asking them to.

“It's my fault, I let them in so I'll escort them back,” suggested Enoch

“That's fine I know you can't compete with someone like Helda so I got this, plus I need some air from all of this” replied Jackson then he started following them

While they were in front and Jackson was following them from behind to get to the main building, Helda slowed her walk so Jackson could catch up to her, and as soon as He caught up to her she started staring at him hoping he would say something.

“What do you want?“he demanded

“Oh, so Teddy talks now!“ sarcastically said Helda

“You did not answer my question, what do you want?“

“So I can't look at you now?“

“I never said that and I know when you are acting like that you always want something, so for the last time what do you want? And please don't even mention going back to the party cause this is out of the equation,” exclaimed Jackson

“Oh, don't be such a big and well-shaped baby— I was doing you a favor by coming and bringing my friend to your boring party,”

Jackson smirked, “Wait— how come you were doing me a favor by coming to a party you know you shouldn't have come in the first place? I'm confused please enlighten me.“

“I know you are lonely, I just wanted you to know I'm here for you and I'll be ready to do anything to make you get rid of that feeling cause there are better feelings out there that are not loneliness” Suggested Helda while trying to get close to Jackson, in a flirty way but Jackson kept trying to get away from her.

“How old do you think you are young lady to make such a preposterous statement?“

“Old enough!” she stopped Jackson by grabbing his arm making them face each other, she did not stop there she went for the kiss but Jackson saw what she was doing and quickly pushed her away.

“Stop Helda, That's enough— what you trying to do is not right now think— you're 17 you're not 18 yet, and even if you were 18 it would be still weird cause not only I am here to protect you and I am way older than you are and have you forgotten you are with my best friend?“ explained Jackson trying to get her to her sense

“I know but where is he now? Also, I never ask anyone to protect me cause I'm capable of protecting myself,” Exclaimed Helda

Jackson looked at her and shook his head “You know what, please I now demand you to go up front to join your friends and let me do my job, miss, I'm very capable of protecting myself, I know you can with your super cool power. Now I perhaps not as powerful as you but let me ask you one more time to let me do my job.”

She stared at Jackson for a moment in disgust, then she hit him with both hands on his chest while cursing him “You know what? All of you can go and burn to hell, no one would miss you,” Then she ran to join the other girls

When they arrived at the main building, fortunately for them, they saw Devonte on the first floor talking with some other people, not Miss Leah.

“Helda, how did you these three got outside?“ Questioned Devonte

“We were bored sir and just wanted to have some fun,” affirmed Helda

“But you know it is forbidden for anyone to go outside that time of the month, don't you?”

“Sorry sir, won't happen again,” said Helda

“Jackson thank you for bringing them in, I'll take it from here,” suggested Devonte

“Thanks but be careful with this one, she is very drunk, and can't think reasonably— you should bring her straight to the nurse's room to get sober up,” added Jackson knowing well he was talking about Helda.

“Thanks for letting me know,” replied Devonte while entering the elevator with them

She knew that too so she waited when Devonte was not looking and she flipped him off, Jackson simply laughed it out.

On his way back to the bar he started talking to himself.

“I don't know what are we doing. Or why we are doing it— it doesn't feel the same— it doesn't feel the same without you,

Honestly, I can't remember the last time I had a good sleep, even if I tried to I've grown a habit of waking up at exactly midnight thinking that It could have happened differently,

Perhaps I could've saved you if only we knew what you guys were up to not only this but we were allowed to visit the dream realm— we keep staying here in one place like a guard dog waiting for them to throw a ball or a bone telling us to go it, they have to be the one to tell us when to play and I'm so tired of this shit.“

With that last sentence, he had an empty bottle in his hand, he put it up in front of his eyes and then threw it into the wall with such rage, that it hit the wall and shattered into a million pieces.
