Mama Leah started the conference with a big and convincing speech “I know a lot you remarked loads of unusual things lately, things that shouldn't and wouldn't happen to children like you, not only you but anyone, anyone smart enough would point and say 'That is not supposed to be here or happening' so this is why we are here today, ain't it?

You were smart enough to see Axell one of your comrades in this state he is now so you all gathered, saying nothing but I know deep well you were waiting for an explanation somehow I owe you.

So the thing is between you all some of you gained some surreal abilities, the ability to sleep and dream of a beautiful place similar to Earth but way better, and in this place,

They can control anything they are doing, including seeing the future, the past, and the present react through them, we have a healer between us who never knew she could help and heal people severely injured near death and bring them back on their feet like nothing ever happened, she even brought a dead person back to life,”

“With the help of my first enemy, of course, Lady Death!! I don't know if I can or will be able to do that on my own” Clarified Olivia

“Thanks for the clarification Olivia— they don't learn that in a day, they are training and my role in all of this is that—as we all know I am not also a Mom for all of you but I am also a scientist, that's what I do for a living…

“Something I never tell anyone till now, A few years back I was experiencing something similar, I visited that place once or twice while dreaming, and then months after something happened in Blue Valley in 1955,

“Yes, but I call it an attempt of invasion on all of us, something from that place, something that wasn't supposed to be here crossed over and tried to cross on ours, thanks to the one who did what they did so they sent it back because of that we got spare” stated Devonte.

“Yeah, that's what we called it but no one wanted to believe us so years later we managed to interview one of the people who experienced this attempt at invasion but who got out safely —so he told us about the prophecy of the Talented ones which confirmed my theory about that place,

He told us all we needed to know about the talented ones, one of the clues was that all of them would be orphans, with no family and no one to care for or help them, so this is why I came up with the idea of creating an orphanage and traveling all around the world to looking for whatever orphans we found with those signs, we will take them and I will put them —put you under my responsibility”

“Just so you know it's not to use you as a lab rat, I am Devonte who is not a scientist by the way but who cares a lot when it comes to whoever children it was, even tho it wasn't mine so she knows I would never allow that” Exclaimed Devonted

They started laughing

“No, no, no for Christ's sake, what kind of person would that make me?“ asked Leah

“Simply a scientist, there is nothing wrong in being one, but except all of them are the same!!” confirmed Miss Cynthia

“Ouch”

“No offense Prof Dupont but even you who can hold yourself straight and who seem harmless to anyone— I don't trust you, what can I say? it's true” continued Cynthia

“I ain't one my dear, I am an Archeologist but none taken,” said Prof Dupont

“What is the difference? you guys are all the same, you are here to study and touch stuff that doesn't even belong to you, dangerous stuff that will put all of us in danger” added Cynthia

“I am not ashamed of being one but what differentiated me from them is that I have a heart. That is why I took them under my wings so when these powers began manifesting the government and some other ignorant wouldn't treat them badly,

I spend my life looking for them to protect them, and help them to master their powers and when they are ready to be in the real world so they can choose to go if they want…that is my mission here!! any questions?“ stated Leah

One of Marty's friends raised his hand

“Yes Mathew, go ahead,” said Devonte

“Are you talking about the SMAERD Ma'am?“ asked Mattew

“Exactly Mattew!!” answered Leah but when she suddenly realized what he said she was surprised and she asked, back” Wait, how did you know that name?“

“Because every single one of us has been in the SMAERD before, the only thing I didn't know of is about these Talented guys with superpowers you were talking about” Confirmed Matthew

The others stated laughing

Devonte quickly turned his head to look at Mama Leah just to see that she was already staring at him with the same look on her face.

So did Marty, he looked at his friend surprised, he was like “What the fuck?“ but he didn't let it out, he just said it to himself.

“Hang on, was this before or after the insomnia incident?“ asked Devonte

Igor replied “After that incident”

And Matthew continued “Why do you think we don't go to play in the courtyard as often as we used to anymore, but instead, we sleep more often and early now? It is simply because there is more interesting than the real world, plus that's where we learn everything we know about the outside world”

“And no one ever thinks of talking to me about that?“ rambled Leah

“Well, we thought everyone was experiencing as we were and it was normal,” Exclaimed Igor

“No, it's not,” she said then turned to the Twins Doc, they shrugged she then turned to look at Jackson and he did the same “Dr. Dupont have you ever been there by any chance?“

“What Dreaming? Yeah I also dreamed like everyone else” he affirmed and the crowd began laughing

“But I never heard of the Smaerd or been there till I heard of it now which is interesting!!” continued Prof. Dupon

“Prof Cynthia?“ said Leah

“I did I guess, but except that, I don't remember”

She asked every other Teacher or the older person responsible for every class in this building, some of them confirmed including Devonte, and some others denied so, either way, she had the answer she was looking for.

“What about you Miss Leah what happened to you after the Insomnia incident?” asked Prof Dupon

“No— Nothing, I still can't go back there”

“Maybe it is for a reason, I promise we will find this out together” murmured Jackson

“And how did you know of The twins Docs and of The HU Squad, aren't the HU Squad the Cops of the Smaerd?“ asked Helda

She took off her glasses, trying to clean them then she put them back and then took them off before responding to the question “The Docs came to me and revealed themselves since they knew what I was doing so they offered to give a hand” she explained, then she turned and glanced at Jackson with sparkle running all over her beautiful eyes as if they were in love and then Jackson look at them in the same way “And as most of you know Jackson is Devonte's son”

They were confused and began whispering around

“He was experiencing something way different before Devonte and I met, so Devonte— I mean my best friend, the Docs, and I helped him but later, he started to experience what you guys are experiencing right now, he got trained but they found out he didn't have no ability so he became a dream's cop,” explained Leah

“Okay, so I guess Axell is one of the Talented ones, if he got power why he is in the state he is in now?“ asked Igor

“Yes, he is part of the Talented ones, a matter of fact all of you are now that I know you have been controlling your dream as well, and no he doesn't have any power at least not yet” Responded Devonte

“Last night you guys know we were fighting against something so that something wasn't from this world, it is or was human, they were. Once people like you, people like you who have gained the gift of controlling their dreams but those people were born because humans and non-humans mated which created them, and those non-human people are called dreams fae,

They are living in the real world and they can dream and control it just like you guys, but the thing is not a lot of them are left, they are about to be extinct now their only option is to mate with a human but instead of having what they were hoping for they created the Distorted ones” explained Leah

“I don't exactly remember seeing anything, but I know there was something scary at my door” stated Igor

“same” added Cynthia

“Interesting,” said Doc 1

“Well we are working on this, we know their presence is too strong for a human being so that is why you guys fainted after you saw it, and when you woke up you also didn't remember anything,

This is what Axell and his team were working on, something to learn on how to beat them once they come back, believe us they will, and when that happens, I want everyone to be ready” said Doc 3

“Except they went behind our back, without our permission that is why what happened to him happened, if only they told us” mumbled Devonte

“Axell took a difficult decision, one every good leader would have done, he knew that there wasn't any time left so…”

“No excuses Marty, you should always consult a superior, we are a team here, and remember you guys are still children” protested Devonte

“That proves his point, he knew you were going to cry about it, just the way you are doing right now and delayed us” whispered Leo

Olivia chuckled

“If they are so dangerous, did we know anything about them yet? What are their powers?“ asked Prof. Dupon

“They can open a door out of nowhere they can open a door to our realm as we speak”

“I doubted that Olivia cause why would they need Ludmilla's sculpture to be used as a door in the first place so they could get there if it was so easy for them? I don't think they figured that they could open a door to another realm out yet or I don't think they would ever cause now they knew they had another option which is simpler” Stated Doc 2

“Are you suggesting the one that was there in the moment is gathering the others so they could come back through Ludmilla's sculpture?“ demanded Jigxie

“Yes it would take them billions or trillions of try to attempt to open a door through our realm by themselves just like that so they will use the simple way and also they possess deadly touch— one single touch could take you out in a painful way, twisted you inside out, they can steal your face and your eyes ” answered Doc 2

Everyone started panicking, as they should of course cause who wouldn't after hearing that a creature out there that once attacked them had such abilities, what are they, gods?

And also hearing they could get back at any moment everyone would have.

“I don't remember teaching her to do this, what the hell is that?“ said Cynthia after seeing the sculpture.

Jigxie and Ludmilla looked at each other then Jigxie nodded.

Ludmilla went to Prof. Cynthia trying to reassure her “No you didn't teach me this, I was trying something new by myself so it came out magical but also demonical” she signaled with her hand

“Ooff, I almost had a heart attack— listen, you can always ask me for help if not sure of something, I will never say no to one of my students who needs help, alright? That is why I am here.“ exclaimed Cynthia

“Or else you could end up creating something more dangerous like a clown with laser beams and with a large mouth who can swallow people whole now that you have supernatural talent, and I guess that this is your kind of power— a magical artist or a— a— A creator” added Cynthia

“No, no this is not what I do, I am an artist. It is true but I did not create these creatures my guess is God did— no I don't think so, cause God is not that cruel— Or The hell leader did but I just created that thing they are now using as a door because I had a vision and I came across one— yeah this is my kind of power I am a watcher” confirmed Ludmilla

“Cool, but still, I need to stop my students from using my tools to create something as hideous as that or worse without my permission, you may not have that kind of ability but someone out there has it so we gotta be careful you know?“

“True that Prof. Cynthia,” said Ludmilla still with hand signs

“Oh my days, there are a bunch of things I kept having deja vu off but I can't remember doing or seeing— I must have fallen and hit my head somehow, how clumsy of me?”

“Do you need help, Miss Cynthia?“

“No Ludmilla, everything will be okay, I will go to the nursing room after the conference but thank you!!!“

“Anytime!!” rambled Ludmilla

“Okay, okay calm down now— I got this under control,” said Doc 1 while the two other twins slid and brought something into the room, with the help of that they did something to the sculpture and showed all of them that the Sculpture was crystalized “See, this will buy us time, now that we got the diary about the distorted ones that mention how to fight them so now we will get you ready and hope for the super talented ones to be ready with their training as well —and for Axell to come back obviously—  if it doesn't happen as planned, we better pray”

“Now, you guys confirmed everything, who are the Super talented ones, as you called them? — we need to know the ones our lives are in the hands of, the ones we can count on to fight for us?” asked Igor

Everyone's eyes turned on Olivia since she confirmed to be one of them earlier but she didn't budge from where she was standing trying to not make eye contact with anyone.

Marty doubted his decision as they all were, he didn't know what his friend would say once he confirmed that he was one of them but no one else wanted to make the first step either, some of them were scared to reveal themselves cause once they did everything going to change, others were sad, angry, blaming themselves for what happened with Axell so no one wanted to make the first move.

He looked around and saw that so he decided to make the first move while stepping forward he tapped Leo on his shoulder two times, and he looked at Ludmilla and they nodded at each other, he glanced at Jigxie, and he winked and lastly he passes by Olivia and whispered in her ears.

“Come on we got to be strong for them from now on, that's how we will get them back, I promised” he exclaimed while stretching his hand toward Olivia, she took some time to think about it but in the end, she grabbed his hand and they stepped forward and stood in front of the crowd. Then the others followed.

“I am Marty and I have the strength of a giant, I don't think this is all I can do but I'm still learning so trust the process”

“Olivia, I can go back in time and save people, I am a traveler healer”

“Jigxie, I am a witch!!!“

“I am Leo, I don't know what kind of power I have yet or if I will ever have one but one thing is for sure, I have been chosen to be one of the ones who will save the Smaerd one day— and you all perhaps no me as a nerd, I know everything about techs so from now one I will be replacing Dr. Mech and help to created future weapons to face these demons or whatever they are”

Some of them were gossiping among themselves, and this group of girls who were a little bit loud were saying “Cool, he is cool!!“ while looking at him in a way.

And then it was Ludmila's turn so she pressed a button from her iPod and it began talking for her.

“I am Ludmilla, I am an artist and most importantly I am supposed to be omniscient, also known as the Watcher”

And then the crowd goes loud again. Marty silenced them by adding “We weren't only 5, we were 7 but we lost two members, allegedly— so now we are the 5 remaining”

“Not anymore, after saving us during our first face-to-face with a Distorted one, we then become 6 again—welcome to the team Helda!!“ Exclaimed Olivia and then she stretched her hand toward her calling her to come and join them so she did.

“Well deserved,” said Marty

“Welcome Helda, he would have been proud” stated Leo

“Good job” added Jigxie

“Go ahead, present yourself” continued Ludmilla

“I—I—” she didn't know what to say or should I say the Helda we know became shy for a second but not for long, because Olivia immediately held her hand, she glanced down and saw that they were holding hands and the she glanced up at Olivia and they both smiled at each other.

“I am Helda, The last Super Talented one, I just learned that I am also known to be like a Distorted one but the very contrary of them—”

“What?“

“What the hell”

“Yoo, what the fuck is going on?” the crowd goes

“Let her finish” demanded Olivia and they all went into silence.

“They possess dark energy and also go by the dark ones and I got the very contrary which is light— I am known as the Fae folk also go as the light one—” she exclaimed

Doc 1 came out of nowhere with the diary open in her hands to seal “The one who is destined to destroy them all!!”

Just like that the ones who were questioning whether they would be able to save them stayed quiet and closed their mouth shut while looking at every single friend who was standing by them, and then looking at the super-talented ones, after that presentation, they were too stunned to speak.

And just like that the super-talented ones were official, everyone counted on them, they were ready— not quite but they were training to be, training to fulfill a destiny, ready to make a prophecy come true.

After the conference, Mama Leah went to her room and began breaking everything in there, she was mad and, angry at herself and we all know the reason why.

She was angry and disappointed in herself because she heard that everyone who took the pills after the incident now visited The Smaerd, everyone but her.

She threw the device she was using to sleep, put it in her head, and pressed the buttons but nothing happened, she took it off and threw it on the wall, breaking it into two pieces.

She then went on top of her chiffonier and grabbed a bottle full of Y-fantasy pills, she took about 9 so she swallowed them with a bottle of water that was next to the Y-fantasy bottle. While she was trying to grab the water bottle she accidentally pushed the Y-fantasy bottle full of pills without any cover, it fell onto the ground and they scattered all over the floor.

She went toward an incubator in her room, pressed a button from the outside, and the incubator's door opened, she went in, held her breath, and it then filled with a blue liquid covering all of her body including her head and then it all went to black.

Somewhere in the middle of the darkness, comes light.

Axell was standing still in the middle of the darkness when the platform he was standing on suddenly illuminated to all-all-white he slowly glanced up, and his eyes color changed and became white, he was breathing slowly while looking at the ceiling.

He stayed like that for a few seconds and then suddenly he started breathing heavily then a door opened in front of him showing him only a bright green light, and as he looked down his eyes came back to normal.

He then stepped forward crossed the door, and disappeared from the bright green light then the door closed after him.
