It had been a few weeks since Daye had seen Chanyeol.

She didn't miss him, she just found it strange how her day felt off because she didn't have to race him to the elevator, or hear his rude comments as they walked out the door. It was almost too nice for her to handle.

She also missed Baekhyun. It wasn't often that she got to see such a clean, pretty boy up close. She had to say, she definitely took it for granted, and found herself wishing to see him again.

She was too busy to think about it though, spending all of her time with Yixing to move on.

"Hey, Daye! How are you?"

"Oh, Hyunnie, I'm glad to see you! But, why haven't you been around?" Daye was quick to explain, "the walls are so thin, I can always hear your voice. What, did you finally realize that you're too good for Chanyeol?"

"Well, you really need to get to know him better, really, he's not that bad."

"Yeah, he's worse I'm sure. What have you been up to, though?"

Baekhyun let out a sad chuckle, "well.... you know, this and that."

For a moment, he considered telling the opinionated girl of his problem, and asking that she help him convince Chanyeol that getting involved with gangs wasn't a good idea. But he quickly shook the thought away; he needed to help his friend alone, and despite the fact that Daye would no doubt have lots to say, nothing she said would possibly stop Chanyeol.

Still, seeing her was enough to revitalize his will, as he recalled her terrifying recollections of a Seoul infected with crime.

With that in mind, he walked in silence beside her.

"Oh, before I go, cheer up will you, handsome boy. I don't like seeing you so down. Is something wrong?"

"Oh that...." Baekhyun hesitated, "well, I'll take care of it."

Daye frowned; it must be serious of he didn't even bother lying about his obviously negative mood. "Well, let me know if I can help."

He didn't bother answering, knowing he would die before telling her anything that Chanyeol told him in confidence.
