Jealously

(A/N: Well, here's what you requested Lucy_J_Carlyle ! I hope I did good... If you want me to redo it, just ask! Also, I included a Sherlock reference in here, I hope that's okay... Sorry if it's not... Happy Reading!)

Disclaimer: I swear on my all of my Harry Potter merchandise that I don't own the fabulous series of Lockwood and Co., nor do I own the fabulous television show by the name of Sherlock.

About three days ago, Lockwood and Co. had gone on another case. Was the case successful? Yes. Was everyone okay? Yes. Is Lockwood jealous? Yes.

Lockwood had been in a sour mood ever since George had saved Lucy from ghost touch just a few nights ago. He could remember how he had been just about to vanquish the poltergeist, but was too slow, and instead, George had rushed to the rescue and waved his rapier in a complex pattern, saving Lucy.

I absolutely hate you right now, George. Lockwood thought. I wish that I could have saved her... Then maybe she would know. Maybe she would be completely smitten with me, not him.

Lockwood was so deep in his thoughts that he didn't even notice Lucy walking in the opposite direction towards him. When the bumped into each other, Lucy was the first to say something.

"Lockwood! I'm so sorry. I wasn't-"

"Hm? Oh. I- Hush. It's fine." He said the last part coldly.

"Oh... Okay..." Lucy said, slightly scared of Lockwood.

Lucy then walked off into her room, and Lockwood into his. What Lockwood didn't know is that Lucy was going to walk right back to his door and listen outside of it, and see if he said anything that would tell her why he was so moody.

"Why? I bet she's starting to fancy him... Why can't I just- I-" Lockwood sighed. "I can't- UGH! I CAN'T EVEN SAY ANYTHING RIGHT ANYMORE!" He then collapsed onto his bed, wishing that the emotional pain would go away.

Lucy gasped softly, and prayed that Lockwood didn't hear her.

I know that I shouldn't be thinking this, but it's sort of cute when he's all frustrated and flustered... Lucy thought, smiling slightly.

Lucy then heard footsteps coming closer and closer to the door, and decided that if she wanted to live, she should get out of there, and fast. Thankfully, Lucy was a safe enough distance away when Lockwood walked out of his room, quietly mocking Lucy and George, which was just loud enough for Lucy to hear.

She giggled quietly, hearing
Lockwood mock her and George was quite funny and cute for her.

Aww... That's adorable! Lucy thought. Wait... What? Did he really just say that...?

"Oh George! Thank you so so much for saving me! You're oh so much better than Lockwood! I could just kiss you!" Lockwood then made over exaggerated kissing noises and made his hands look like they were kissing.

Lucy sighed. "So that's what this is all about. George saves me once, and Lockwood thinks I fancy him! Wow Lockwood... Why do you even-" Then it hit her.

"Does he... Like me? I- wait a moment. So... Oh... I get it now! I just need to make sure Lockwood knows that I don't fancy George! Then I should tell him that I've always liked him!... Right? Yeah, sure, whatever.

Lucy then ran up to Lockwood, who was still mocking her and George, and prepared for what she was about to do.

"Lockwood... I don't like George like that. I don't fancy him in the slightest! I do like someone, though."

Lockwood rolled his eyes. Although he was quite relieved to hear that Lucy had no intention to date George, he was still slightly annoyed as to hear that she did have feelings for someone else.

At least it's not George... That would have made things difficult, since we're close friends. He's also the smartest one here, so we wouldn't have much information to go on if George was mad enough.

"Lockwood, do you know who that someone is?" Lucy asked.

"Um... I don't kno- I mean... Like I care." Lockwood muttered.

"Lockwood, I know that you do care. Where's my bubbly ball of sunshine? I hope he's still in there somewhere. He just has to be! Where did the Lockwood I fall in love with go? The sweet, loving, Lockwood? Hm? Do you know? Because last time I saw him, which was about... Oh, I don't know... Three or four nights ago, he looked perfect and ready for anything. You, on the other hand, look like you've been doing nothing for quite a while, which is definitely not the Lockwood that I know and love to pieces."

Lockwood basically only heard one key part out of that whole speech Lucy just gave him, and that was that Lucy liked him.

She. Likes. Me. She fancies me! Me! Not George, me! Anthony J. Lockwood!

"Well?" Lucy pulled him out of his thoughts. "Where did he go?"

"I- I'm right here..." Lockwood said.

"I mean yes, you are him, but I mean where's the rest of you?... The personality part of you?" Lucy asked. "That part still seems to be missing."

Lockwood just didn't even know what to feel, do or even think, for that matter. So all he did was smile for the first time in a few days.

"Smiling's my favorite." Lockwood said with a lopsided grin on his face.

"That's better," Lucy said, smiling. "Now I can carry on with the rest of my day in piece."

Lucy then turned around and started walking away. Of course, Lockwood stopped her from going anywhere.

"Luce, wait." Lockwood said, reaching out to stop her.

"Hm?"

"I just thought that I should let you know that I love you too." Lockwood said.

He then swooped down to kiss her. This caught Lucy by surprise and made her quite shocked, but after the few seconds that it took to get over the sheer shock of everything, she kissed back. One of Lucy's hands were tangled in Lockwood's hair, and her other arm was around his neck. Lockwood, on the other hand had one arm around Lucy's waist and the other hand cupped her face.

George was about to walk to the kitchen to get food before he started a television marathon of his favorite show, Sherlock, but of course, he had to walk past Lucy and Lockwood to get there. He didn't know that they were doing anything of importance, but as soon as he found then kissing, he hurried off.

Oh great, now I'm going to have to deal with this all the time! George thought as he walked towards the kitchen. Well, at least their happy... Still... Who knew that jealously was how they would end up together...

(A/N: Ta-da! Did I do well? This was my first request, so tell me if it actually fit what you wanted.)
