Itw as a normal day at the guild hall, dispite the fact that natsu was there hours earlier than normal due to his lack of sleep and things to do.

Cana was already chugging her 3rd barrel of alcohol. 

Happy flew around the guild hall talking to Mira as she snacked.

Natsu skipped up to the request board, his eyes scanned over all the boring requests.

His eyes stopped on one particualr flyer. His happy demanor down the drain. Completely serious he ripped it down.

"Mira, I'm taking this job alone." Natsu walked off without another word his face netural.

"ARE YOU SURE, NATSU?" Mira called out but she got no reply.

Natsu's job was in a town called "City of Ember", a town Natsu knew for sure, didn't exist. It was a fight request from her. 

A little while later at the guild hall;

"Hey, has anyone seen Natsu?" Lucy asked taking a seat at the bar nect to Laxus and Erza.

Erza and gray shooke thier heads no while laxus grunted a no.

"Actually, Natsu, went on a solo Job about two hours ago." Mira smiled.

"Oh, okay.." Lucy aksed for a bowl of Mira's infamous soup.

"What was it on?" Erza held a fork trying to decide the best way to take a bite of the cake infront of her.

"Something about taking down one of Tartarous' duel snakes in the city of Embers. Put him in a rather foul mood." Mira shrugged it off

Laxus' fork snapped in half. "That idiot is what?!"

"I thought everybody in Tartarous was a demon Zeref created?" Lucy furrowed her eyebrows.

"Not everybody." Laxus got up and left "Natsu doesnt know what hes dealing with." 

Natsu had a pretty erotic and uique scent  so it was pretty easy to pick it up with his dragonslayer nose.

It was catching up that was the hard part, Natsu had an two hour advantage over Laxus.

Thats why Laxus was taking the Magic mobile.

Within half an hour Laxus saw Natsu show up in the distance.

Natsu turned his head twords Laxus ans stopped.

"What are you doing here?" Natsu raised an eyebrow at the older dragon slayer.

"Helping you, you have no idea-" 

"I have a very good idea thank you." Natsu huffed

"Natsu, that could be my dad out there!" Laxus glared

"Or, It could be Her. Laxus, the city of Ember doesn't exist anymore. It's basiclly yelling 'Natsu come fight me.'"

"First off, who is her? second, and if both of them are there?" Laxus was loosing his patence.

"Then i'll take them both on." Natsu grinned that smile

"No." Laxus pulled natsu in the magic mobile. "Since you wont accept my help, im forcing it on you."

'ugh whatever" Natsu was still in a rather bad mood.

The two kept going twords the city of Ember dispite Nastu's motion sickness.
