Sammy was grateful. Here he was, sitting around a fireplace, sipping hot chocolate, which he hadn't had in the longest time, cracking jokes with his new friends.
"I said, 'Patella? I barely know her!' And then she said..."
"SANS!" His older brother shouted. "STOP WITH YOUR RIDICULOUS PUNS!"
Sammy stifled a laugh. He turned to Sans, "Hey, thanks for taking us in."
"No problem," he replied. "How long will you stay?"
"Only the night." Springtrap responded casually.
"Going somewhere?" Sans' voice became menacing.
"Home." Sammy stuttered, anxious.
"And where might that be? On the surface?"
"I-i suppose so."
Sans relaxed. These humans meant no harm.
"Maybe you can come with us!" Springtrap suggested.
Sans shook his skull. "Monsters can't get out. They cant get in, either."
Sammy blinked, his stare on his first friend. "What are we, then? I don't exactly feel human."
"Neither do I." Springtrap confessed. "So how-"
"You still have humanoid SOULs. I don't. I'm sorry, but I can't leave." Sans looked sad, even though the smile remained intact.
Sammy slammed his fist on the armrest of the chair. "No. You're coming with us RIGHT NOW."
And with that he picked up the monster, flung him over his shoulder, and exited the house, with a very confused zombie bunny hopping after them.
