A- why would I save nivi now , if I was planning to kill her ?(trying to justify herself)

He remained silent .

S- you....you are confusing me .I know you're acting .(still pointing the pistol )I heard you calling her as di .

A- I didn't deny it ,it is true that she is my sister .But I'm not intended to harm nivi ,trust me .(she ordered)

S- why should I trust you ?I'm least bothered about you. My nivi should be safe ,that's all I want .

A- even I want my di to be safe,that's why I'm doing all this ...trust me (she whispered to last words which was heard by him)

By the time the police started entering the gudown,hearing the noise annika immediately bend down to pick a glass peace and in no time she herself cut her hand near the elbow.

S- hey ,kya ?kya kar rahi ho tum?(shocked)

A - don't ask me anything now ,just trust me ...I will never harm nivi.

Listening to her, he was somewhere preparing himself to give her a chance .Adversely he lowered his gun.
By the time the police force came there .

Police- (saluted annika )madam ,(to annika )how did the person escape.

A- uhh ...vo, I tried too hard to catch her but she escaped somehow.(she said indicating her hurt hands but acted asthough she wasn't)

Shivaay was extremely dumbstruck by her acting ,like she was pretending as though she had a terrific fight with the culprit and got hurt due to that.

P- mam,you're bleeding .

A- it's ok , it will be fine .

P- sir , (to shivaay )You have seen the person right? Do you know who she is ?

Shivaay instantly looked at annika who was conveying him not to reveal anything .

S - nahi ....I don't know. (Eyeing annika who felt relief after listening to him)

They came out ,

Nivi - shivaay ,tum teek ho na ?

S- (picking her in his arms )I'm totally fine.Tum?

He started checking her and found few scratches on her knees.

S- you are hurt nivi , why didn't you tell me ?Come we will go to the hospital.

N- one minute shivaay .

S- what?

N- look , even annika is hurt .

She got down from him and went towards annika.

N- annika ,come with us .First aid karthe hain.

A -( bending down)no nivi , I'm fine .Tum teek ho na ,that's what I want.

Shivaay was listening to all this silently.

N- nahi...(she argued )you are coming .

She pulled annika along and made her sit inside the car.

N- shivaay ,common na. Let's go .

Shivaay drove to his hospital,he tended to nivi's wounds and asked her to wait in his room until he returns .

He left to the general ward where the nurse was dressing annika.He was baffled to see annika to be sitting with blunt face while her wound was being dressed .It wasn't any deep injury but it was all enough to bring atleast a crooked face of hissing due to pain.But to his surprise the girl ,didn't do anything of that sort.

Nurse - wait here ,I'll bring the injection.

Annika was seated quietly lost in her own thoughts which was soon dropped witnessing him there.

A- aap?

S- I want to know the truth .

A- I didn't get it?

S- who are you ?who was that ?I mean your di .Why she wants nivi killed?I want to know?(he demanded)

A- Tej Singh Oberoi , aapka bade papa haina ?

S- yes , but why suddenly you're asking about him?

A - he is the one who's behind all this .

S- are you mad? It's been 3 years since he had died in a flight crash.(he spoke interrupting her)

A- will you let me speak ?(she said being irritated )

S- fine bolo .

A- He blamed Kpapa ,for a murder which he himself committed. Kpapa thought you're bade papa was a very trust worthy person and he would somehow bring him out of that case .But ,no it didn't happen .And since the victim was a big shot in the society kpapa was hanged to death.All his trust , all his faith , all his hopes were just a big lie .

S- wait wait,who is this K papa?

A- (sighing )Kapoor papa.

S- you mean ,your father?(he asked her hesitantly)

She nodded .

A- when sweety di came to know about all this ,she was determined ...no no she took an oath to destroy the happiness of the oberoi family .To give you all the sorrow which we had gone  through during kpapa's death.She came to know that nivi is the source of light in your family .So she is....

S- I feel disgusted ,did my bade papa do all this (he spoke depicting his shock)

After a long pause.

S- I'm sorry.(he told in a low tone)

A- for?(narrowing her eyes)

S- Because of him , you lost your father .I'm sorry

Without replying she constantly looked at him without blinking

A- there's no necessity for your apology,since you aren't at fault .But since you have apologized ,I'm accepting it.

S- attitude deko iski (he mummered)

A- did you say something?

S- no,nothing. Are you not intended to take revenge on my family?

A- If your bade papa was still alive ,I would have killed him and surrendered myself in jail.

Shivaay looked at her being horrored .

A- don't get scared Mr.Oberoi.I would have done that only if he was alive but unfortunately,(sighing ) So ,as I said I will protect both ,nivi and my sweety di.

The minute she completed ,he was already immersed in his pool of thoughts .Like she was a totally different edition from the female gender.He had come across many girls,but there was something very different ,maybe something very awkward in her.Her mysterious behaviour and character had already brought an interest in him to know more about her.

The nurse came inside and asked annika to lift her top to inject her.

A- ask him to get out first (pointing shivaay )

N- how can I , I mean he's the chief here.

A-Mr.Oberoi ?jaahiye .

She shouted to bring him from his world .

S -why did you just shout now?

A- go outside...I mean.She is going to inject me here(she said holding her back)

Shivaay can do nothing but just hold on his lips which seemed to curve up any time witnessing her .It was deliberately seen that she felt shy ,and he somewhere liked it even ."Let me play with her "he thought .

He asked the nurse to hand over the injection to him .The nurse gave it to him and left from there ,bringing a huge o shaped hole through annika's mouth.

S- Ms.E...sorry Ms.Kapoor.Turn around(he said casualy)

A- what the hell ,(she immediately jolted and stood )I don't need any injection .

He was enjoying this ,her helplessness.
But annika who on the other side ,was no less than him when it comes to BEING EGOISTIC .She soon found out, he was doing this wantedly.With a fine smirk on her face she started her next act.

His breath hitched when he found her just inches away from him.She was too close to him that her baby hairs were already sleeking on his face.

A- I hate you (she whispered in his ears)Do you think ,you can control me ?Never ....(she said being dangerously close to him)This is not the only hospital in town ,haina ...

Saying this she took a knife to remove the dressed bandage.

S- hey hey ,stop it.Itna gussa teek nahi hai(she rolled her eyes)Wait here , I'll send the nurse.

He left.

A- there's no way you can win over me Mr.Oberoi.(smirking)

S - pagal ladki ,

But soon he remembered her shy face when she was arguing with the nurse and immediately a smile crept on his lips .

S- itna bhi nafrat mat karo na mujse ,(he spoke nodding negatively while a well measured smile had already captured his face)

Both spoke at the same time ,one standing inside the ward and the other outside not knowing how their lives are going to be  attached with the other .
