when bts said bum badum bum brrrrumble I felt that. - ✆ shinyadi

We all stood there, in what seemed to be the main hall of the mansion, or at least one of them. There was no denying that there was probably another.

I glanced towards the entrance. The door seemed to be a dead end, considering Jungkook left his pliers outside and we didn't have anything else to open it.

I sighed. "Nice going, Kookie." My sarcastic tone lead him to snap his head in my direction.

"What?" He growled.

"You just had to leave the pliers outside." I rubbed my temples.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I was so ignorant that I didn't know we were going to be locked in here!" He shouted, his voice getting, progressively, louder. Vains were starting to pop off his neck.

"Well, you could've at least considered it!" I shouted back. Jimin's soft touch lightly patted me on the shoulder, in an attempt to calm my nerves.

"We're all a little jumpy." He smiled. "Don't stress." He didn't just address this to me, but, in fact, everyone in the room.

I looked back to the others. Hoseok was trying to seek comfort in Yoongi, while Namjoon, Jin, and Jungkook, who still looked somewhat angry, seemed to be talking.

"I think we should start looking for an exit." Jin muttered, loud enough so we could all still hear. Namjoon and Yoongi nodded in agreement as Jimin and Hoseok were still quaking in fear, Hoseok being the most evident.

"Yeah, I agree." I began. "If I keep smelling all of these cigarettes, I'm going to die."

"But I wanted to play hide and seek." Jungkook pouted. All is us simply glared at him.

"This isn't the time to be making jokes, Kook." Jin's foot started to tap anxiously, looking throughout the room, his eyes switching in between all of the objects laying about.

"It's not my fault you all are pussies." Jimin gasped at Jungkook's retort, muttering, 'I am not.'

"Language!" Jin countered. Jungkook stuck his tongue out while crossing his arms.

"Just ignore him." Yoongi announced.

Silence filled the room. Namjoon and I were checking our phones for any reception, which, sadly, was a failed attempt. Jin and Yoongi were checking the windows of the room to see if any would budge. Hoseok was hugging Jimin out of fear, while he whispered sweet nothings into his ear to calm him down. Jungkook just stood complaining about 'not being able to tweet to his ten followers.'

After comforting Hoseok, Jimin made his way over to Jungkook and began to take his splinters out.

The silence was broken by the second oldest. "We should split up."

"Uhm, I disagree." Jimin's soft voice rang throughout the room, which held panic.

"Same." I sided. Splitting up would just lead to a lot of problems.

"Sticking together is smarter." Hoseok shivered, he could only imagine the things that could happen if they split up.

"Sticking together is only smarter if you want to stay here for the next 12 years." Jungkook rolled his eyes, walking over to Yoongi.

"Look on the bright side. If we split up, we are more likely to find an exit." Namjoon smiled, happy there was some sort of plan.

"Yeah, but we are also more likely to be murdered!" Hoseok shouted.

"Stop overreacting. There is no 'murderer' here. If anything, we'll just find a couple of dead rats." Jimin's eyes widened, along with mine, at Jin's statement.

"Rats?!" I yelled.

"Ugh, don't start with this Tae." Jungkook sighed.

"That's easy for you to say! The only thing you're afraid of is girls!"

"Am not!"

"Stop this." Yoongi interrupted. "Arguing is going to get us nowhere." Jin silently agreed.

"Let's look at the pro's and con's." Namjoon proposed, which seemed to please everyone. "Pro's of splitting up." He started.

"Getting out faster." Jin quickly requested.

"Not having to deal with those scaredy cats." Jungkook scoffed, as Yoongi nodded in agreement.

"Con's."

"You're more likely to be targetted by a murderer!" Hoseok cried out, as, almost, everyone shook there head at his statement.

"We won't be able to contact each other." I noted. Jimin softly nodded beside me.

"Alright. Now sticking together. Pro's."

"Less likely to be murdered!" Hoseok cheered.

"Yeah, we'd be safer together." Jimin agreed.

"We would all be able to come out as a group." I concluded. "No one would be left behind."

"Con's."

"We're stuck with cowards." Jungkook's voice grumbled from the corner.

"It'll take us forever to cover the whole place." I found myself nodding to Yoongi's statement.

I started pacing back and forth. Of course we were stupid enough to get caught up in this mess. What if Hoseok is right? I mean, we don't know what's lurking in here.

But overall, it would be better to split up. Being 'killed' is just us being paranoid.

"Ok." I halt my steps. "I think splitting up into groups is the best option."

"What?!" Hoseok shouted. "You traitor! Is that cigarette smell getting to your head?!"

"What? Why?" Jimin's voice faltered.

"Welcome to the dark side." Jungkook smirked, as Jin hit his arm from the remark.

"Taetae," Jimin whined, "Are you sure you're thinking straight?" I nodded to his question.

Jin's foot tapping became faster and harsher, causing the rusted planks underneath him to creak. That was the only sound in the room besides Hoseok's paranoid mumbling. I went over to comfort him.

I patted his back saying everything would be fine, even when I didn't think it would.

Suddenly, a very loud snap was heard. All of our heads went into the direction. Jin fell halfway into the floor. Namjoon quickly ran over to help his friend.

Jin screamed, very loudly. "AHH! A DEMON! IT'S PULLING ME INTO THE FLOOR!" He panicked, causing Hoseok to yell, and even Jimin to do into a slight shock.

"You're ok, Hyung!" I assured him. He sighed as Namjoon pulled him up.

"The next thing I'm falling into is cardiac arrest." He placed a hand over his heart, a useless attempt to slow it down. Jimin laughed, until Jin gave him a glare, indicating it wasn't a joke.

Jungkook's eyes sparkled at the hole in the ground, while Hoseok and I stayed as far away as possible. Jungkook kneeled in front of the hole and started pulling the boards apart.

"Kook!" I yelled, not wanting him to get hurt by anymore splinters. I ran to him. "What do you think you're doing?!" I grabbed his hands to stop them from ripping the floor.

"We can find something down there." Everyone was staring at Jungkook like he was insane. They knew he was desperate to escape, but not this desperate.

"Yeah! Something like a killer!" Hoseok shouted, causing Yoongi to roll his eyes.

"Stop talking about a murderer." Jin ordered, done with Hoseok's constant panic about being murdered.

"No. We can find pliers or crowbars. Maybe something to even break the windows." He explained.

That's smart. Smart and dumb.

"Haha, I'm not going down there." Jimin pointed inside the hole, the only thing shown was darkness.

"Agreed." Namjoon closed his eyes. "If we're going down there it's as a group." Everyone agreed to that.

"Couldn't you just find something in the house?" Jimin pondered.

"Yeah, like a chair and throw it at a window." I agreed.

"One of these windows has to open. Maybe there is even a back door." Jin contemplated aloud.

"Ok, so what are we doing?" Yoongi questioned, waiting for our answer.
