Chapter 1

            Valentine looked at the three with curious eyes. "I have a name?" She asked. Dumbledore looked at her through his half-moon spectacles. "Of course child. Someone as beautiful and wonderful as you needs a name." He said, holding out his hand for Valentine to grasp.She looked up at him with curious blue eyes. "You're not going to hurt me?" She asked.Dumbledore chuckled. "No child." He said. Valentine was unsure if she should trust the old man. "Do you promise?" She asked. Dumbledore nodded. "I promise." He said. Valen nodded and took his hand.She stood at about 5'7''. "Come. We will take you somewhere safe." Dumbledore said. Valen nodded and followed the three out of her cell. She was finally free. Valen's first steps into the outside world in years was a sight to see. She stepped out into the sun and just smiled."I missed this." She said.Minerva smiled at the girl. She looked so much like her brother. Her hair was a light goldenbrown and she had tan skin, even though she's been in a cell for ten years, and her eyes.Her eyes were the brightest green that Minerva had ever seen. How anyone couldn't want the girl was beyond her."Where are we going?" Valen asked in her almost whimsical voice. Dumbledore smiled. "I need you to grab on Minerva's arm and don't let go." Dumbledore instructed. Valen nodded,suspicious of these strange people, but she did as she was told and grabbed the woman's arm. Not even a moment later, Valen felt as if she was being pulled like taffy. Her insides felt like they were being pulled out of her mouth, and she felt sick to her stomach. Valen landed on the ground with a thump when the pain stopped. She was hunched over, throwing up all the bile in her stomach. Dumbledore smiled at the young girl. "Apparition is always the hardest the first time." He said, as Valen stood up.The girl looked at the old man like he had grown three heads. Even her powers couldn't have predicted that. Valen looked around as to where she was standing and her eyes widened. There, in the middle of a field was a two story house, lopsided and cute. "Where are we?" She asked. Minerva smiled. "Welcome to the Burrow." She said.The group of four began to make their way up to the strange little house. Valen couldn't predict what was going to happen next, it was almost as if her powers didn't work here.Before Dumbledore could knock, the door was flung open and two anxious gingers stood,awaiting the group."Professor Dumbledore, it's good to see you again." The male said. The old man smiled at the couple. "It's good to see you as well Arthur." He said. Valen studied the two figures, not sure what to think. They looked normal, but then again so did her sets of foster parents. But there was something inside of Valen that told her she could trust the two."Is this her?" Molly asked, looking at the girl with wide eyes. "Indeed it is Molly." Minerva said. "Come in, come in." Molly said, ushering in the four people. It was quite the sight for Valen to see Hagrid trying to fit through the tiny entry way. Molly entered the living room with four floating cups of tea, and two children running to greet the girl that sat in their home.The ginger hair was the only clue that Valen needed to know that they were children of Molly and Arthur. "Who are you?" The oldest of the two asked. "WILLIAM!" Molly shouted. Valen chuckled and looked at the woman. "It's fine." She said, before turning to the children."I'm Valentine, it's nice to meet you." She said, holding out her hand. "I'm William Arthur Weasley, Bill if you will." Bill said. Valen chuckled. "Pleasure to meet you Bill." She said."And what's your name?" She asked turning to the youngest. "I'm Charlie." He said. Valen smiled. "It's nice to meet you Charlie." She said. "You have two wonderful boys, Mrs. Molly."Valen said. "Oh, please, just Molly." The woman said, handing Valen a mug. She accepted it with a smile on her face and took a sip."Valen, these people have agreed to house you." Minerva smiled. "But, that's too much to ask. They don't have much room, and two boys already." Valen said. Arthur and Molly chuckled. "It's fine dear. We'll be happy to have you stay with us. You'd be a big help with the boys." Molly said. Valen bit her lip and began to pick at her nails. "It's too much to ask."She finally said. "We insist." Arthur said. Valen looked up at the family of gingers. She took a deep breath. A family was all she ever wanted, and now that she was given the opportunity to have one, she wasn't going to pass it up. "Alright. But, please, don't spend any money on me." She said.Molly and Arthur smiled at the girl. "Now, you have three months until it's time for you to start school. I believe Molly and Arthur know what to do." Dumbledore said. The ginger couple nodded. "Good." He said. "Now, there is a Gringotts account under her name. Here's the key." Minerva said, handing Molly and Arthur the strange key."Well my dear girl, this is goodbye for now." Dumbledore smiled. Valen nodded, not exactly sure what was going on. "I'll see you on the First of September." Minerva smiled, patting Valen on the back. "Goodbye little one." Hagrid said, wiping the tears from his eyes. Valen watched as the three figures walked away from the strange house and disappeared. Valen turned to face the ginger family with a small smile on her face. "Welcome to the Weasley family Valen."
