Lost is an angel, 

So beautiful, so delicate

Lost she is in the woods

So dark, so scary.

It's her first time

Others have made it through

Few surrendered to the fate.

Everyone knows it's difficult

Yet they pretend it's not

"It's a nice bumpy ride,

Enjoy it."

Yet some do talk about it 

Through their novels, their stories

Tell everyone what it's like to be

In that dark, deceiving forest.

Normal people say

Those stories: ridiculous

Those characters: fictional

The writer: crazy

And hide their tears as they choke up

Remembering their own days.

Inspired from the movie "Chemical Hearts". The dark forest is a metaphor for teenage life. 

We're all stuck in the teenage limbo.
