Lloyd POV

My window is open and the sun is shining bright in my face. I hear laughing outside my bedroom door. I try and put my pillow over my ears and go back to sleep, it doesn't work... I guess my only choice is to get up and get ready for the day. I pick out my clothes, (very light green t-shirt, and jeans.) Then I brush my hair. it's been very peaceful in ninjago so I don't need to where my gi today. I exit my room to find Rumi, Kai, and Jay laughing at Cole's reaction to eating a warhead, LEMON FLAVOR. My eyes light up when I see the bag of candy there sharing. I know I'm not a child anymore but I still LOVE candy.

"Hey guys can I have some!" I say excited.

"Yeah, we got quite a bit of your favorites in that bag over there." Kai points to a brown paper bag, I rush over and open it. Inside the bag there is, just as kai said, LOADS of my favorites. One catches my eye.

"HERSHEYS CHOCOLATE!!" I scream happily, maybe a bit to loud. Everyone turns around looking at me. I look down my face flushed. "Thank you," I say quietly and rush out of the room. I look inside, tootsie rolls! Tootsie pops! Peppermint sticks! And my favorite.... "SMARTYYYYS!!!" I yell as I run on the deck. Ahhhhhh caaaandyyyyy, my favorite.... I sit down on some training equipment. After I eat candy, I normally avoid people because I will get on a sugar high. But I'm not alone for long until someone catches me eating candy. (like a boss) "oh... uh hey..." I say while stuffing my face with smartys.

"I wanted to see why you ran out so fast." Rumi says, "but I guess it's because you don't want to be seen going crazy over candy." I blush a bit when she laughs,

"I guess," I put the candy down, "what's your favorite candy?" I ask.

"I... I've never had any..." she looks down. My eyes widen in shock,

"You've never had CANDY?!" I scream. She laughs,

"No I haven't." I pat the spot next to me,

"Come on I'll give you some!" She sits down and I hold out the bag. "Pick something," she looks in the brown bag.

"What is your favorite?" Her hand backs up from the bag, "they all look.... enticing." I hesitantly reach over and grab my bag back. I stare inside... I know I just said my favorite was smartys... but now... I look at the blue taffy, the rainbow skittles, the orange starburst. I reach inside and pull out a light green rock candy. I hold it in my hands hesitant to let go of it. I haven't had rock candy... since I was with Pythor... I loooove rock candy! But I do like Rumi... this should go to her.

"H-here..." I say giving it to her, "try this... it's... REALLY good." I watch her take the wrapper off and look at it. There's a small bit of light reflecting through the candy onto her face.

"What is it?" She asks looking quite confused. "It's... very pretty... are you sure it's candy?" I nod my head smiling. "Is it like... something you lick?" I nod again. "Ok..." she gives it a last look, then licks it. I watch her for a moment, she looks at it for a moment then licks it again. "W-wow, this is... amazing!" I smile wider.

"You like it?" I laugh,

"Yes I really do!" She answers. "Why do you like candy so much?" My face explodes in heat, I'm pretty sure I'm blushing. She looks at me weirdly, "I.. I'm sorry did I say something?"

"Y-es I m-mean N-o I... I.... I just love sugar..." I look around avoiding eye contact. "I know this probably makes me look completely unprofessional.... and childish." Harumi laughs, I guess she's fine with this side of me. I look in my bag of candy, then hold it out for Rumi. "Choose something." She looks inside the bag and pulls out a..... HERSHEY BAR!!!

"Whats this?" She asks. I look at the wrapper.

"Read it." I laugh. She looks at it quizzically,

"Herrr...... Shayyyyy.... hershay?" She tries to pronounce the name of a Hershey bar. I chuckle a bit. "Hey! I've never had this before!" She slaps me lightly on the arm. "I'm just gonna open it!" She rips the wrapper. Her eyes light up when she sees the soft chocolate, "W-wait... Chocolate?"

"Yeah... why?" She looks at me confused.

"I was going to eat it one day... but my parents stopped me... I don't know why, they said it was bad for me..." My brain draws a blank.

"W-we'll... I mean... it's not technically GREAT for you... but it... it's not..." I scratch the back of my neck. "It won't kill you... it's dessert, I won't have any dessert after dinner tonight because I'll eat like... ALL of this!" Harumi laughs a bit and bites the soft candy. Her smile grows even wider.

"Oh my goodness!" She bites more, "this is AMAZING!" She eats one row of the chocolate.

"Do you want more?" She nods her head. Both of us reach in the bag at the same time, we freeze when we touch hands. I don't look up to meet her gaze, she's staring at me, I feel it. There is a light breeze in the air and the sun is shining down on us. Even though I'm a bit hot that's not why I'm sweating. Harumi finally looks away from me and at our hands. Her fingers interlock with mine and she pulls my hand out of the bag. I still don't meet her gaze, I'm to scared. She lays her other hand on top of our intertwined hands.

"Lloyd, are you okay?" Her voice is soft and kind. I force myself to look up and nod. She laughs a bit and looks at our hands.

"It's kinda nice...." I say squeezing her hand a bit.

"Yeah.... it is..."
