(video camera turns on in Lizzy's dorm room)

Lizzy: Hey guys. Today is Saturday...(yawns)...and it's pretty much a relaxed day. My friends and I stayed up really late last night playing Duel Monsters. It  never gets old. (yawns again) Man, I think I should take a nap. I know that right now it's 10 am but I really want more sleep. (sighs) I'm gonna do it.

(timeskip)

Lizzy: A few hours have passed and everyone is awake. I think Jaden was the hardest one to wake up because that guy can sleep through pretty much anything. But now, I have something important to discuss.

Yugi: Oh boy. Is it for us?

Lizzy: No, no, no, it's not for you guys. It's specifically for the viewers. (walks over to the couch and sits down) We are going to have a little chat. I've been debating on telling you this for a long time, actually as long as the first few days of the journal. But I wasn't sure how you guys would take it. So now I'm going to tell you. (takes a deep breath)

Yugi: I'm sure the viewers will be fine with it, Lizzy.

Lizzy: Let's hope so. I......am a magician. Not the kind that does card tricks and pulls rabbits out of hats. Nope! I guess a better word to use is a sorceress. Now, I did not learn it out of some sort of coincidence. I was born with it. It's a family thing: I was born as a magic user into a magic-user family. Ever since I was a kid, I've been practicing magic and alchemy, and it's been normal to me. So you're probably wondering why I have never used any type of magic since I started the journals. Well, I don't do it normally at school and around a lot of people. Some people are very judgmental.

Jaden: (yells from his room) Not in this place!!

Lizzy: (laughs) Yeah, it's another reason why I've sticked around with these guys. They're more understanding to my unique abilities.

Yusei: (comes into living room, eating ramen) We try to be accepting of other people.

Lizzy: (grins) Yup!

Yusei: So based on what you said: why haven't I met any of your family members that have magic?

Lizzy: (gulps) Uh......

Yusei: (raised his eyebrow) Lizzy? What are you hiding?

Lizzy: Oh dear, I'm in trouble. Okay, get Jaden in here. This is going to be important!

Yusei: U-Uh okay...(walks off)

Lizzy: (looks at camera) This is gonna take a while to explain. Be right back, viewers!

(timeskip)

Lizzy: (back in her room) W-Well, that just happened! I won't tell you what exactly happened, but stuff did happen.

Jaden: (yells) I wasn't expecting that!

Lizzy: (yells back) Neither of you were! I know that.

Yugi: (comes over to her room) Hey, are you gonna be okay?

Lizzy: Yeah but check on the others, especially Yusei. He looked pretty shocked.

Yugi: (nods and goes off)

Lizzy: Basically, what I just told them is that my parents are not my biological parents. I'm sure you can figure it out from there. But Jaden couldn't so I said it slowly and that's when it clicked. Yusei already figured it out but I think that knowledge hit him to the core. So....I don't think I'll hear from him until tomorrow, which is completely understandable. On that note, thanks for watching today and let's hope that tomorrow is better than today. See ya, guys.

(turns video camera off)
