(video camera turns on in the dorm living room)

Lizzy: Hey guys, it's Friday! My friends and I have survived our first school week back from break! (turns camera to the others) We did it, guys! We actually made it!

Yusei: You sound like we weren't going to make it at all!

Jaden: I didn't think we were going to make it...

Lizzy and Yusei: (both laugh)

Lizzy: So in order to celebrate this momentous occasion, we are going to play some Mario Kart. But not your average Mario Kart! We are going to play...(turns camera to the TV screen)...Mario Kart Double Dash! If you don't know this game, it's the same as any other Mario Kart game but there are two characters per racing kart instead of just one. One player is in charge of driving and the other is in the back, maybe throwing an item or helping the kart drift if needed. Both players can hold items and the first one to the finish line wins. I'm going to be teaming up with Yugi while Yusei and Jaden are teaming up. So let's do it! Where do you guys want to go first?

Yugi: It doesn't matter to me.

Yusei: How about the cruise liner?

Lizzy: The cruise liner, it is! (presses the course)

Jaden: (grins) Bring it on!

(the race starts)

Lizzy: Dang it, I didn't get the boost!

Jaden: Haha!

Yugi: Don't worry, we'll still beat them!

Yusei: You're talking to the person that can actually drive!

Lizzy: I can drive! Besides, whatever happened to that one time in Mario Kart where you faced Alex and lost?

Yusei:...........

Yugi: Ooh, she got you there.

Yusei: I still need to rematch her.

Jaden: (throws a Koopa shell at Lizzy and Yugi's kart)

Lizzy and Yugi: Hey!!!

Yusei: Good going, Jaden! Now we have more of a lead.

Lizzy: We'll see about that! Yugi, run into the mystery box!!!

Yugi: I'm on it!

Yusei: Second lap!

Lizzy: (gets three mushrooms and laughs) When can I use them?

Yugi: Do it now!

Lizzy: (uses mushrooms for speed boost)

Jaden: Oh no, they're catching up!

Lizzy: (laughs) We will get to you!

Jaden: Never!! We will take the shortcut!

Yusei: There's a shortcut?

Lizzy: Yup! Let's take it!!!

Yugi: Okay!

Yusei: It's a good thing we have a mushroom.

Jaden: Should I use it?

Yusei: Not yet! We have to wait.

Lizzy: Third lap! Time to get serious. (uses lightning bolt to make everyone except her and Yugi's cart small)

Jaden and Yusei: What?!

Yugi: (laughs)

Yusei: (drives into a mystery box) Come on...we got the winged shell!

Lizzy: Oh no. Yugi, we gotta dodge!!

Yugi: Uh, I don't think we can...

(winged shell hits Yugi and Lizzy's kart)

Lizzy: We can make it!! (uses a mushroom)

Jaden: It's gonna be close!

Yusei: Man, we're right next to each other! It's probably gonna be a tie.

(race ends in a tie)

Everyone: (silent and look at each other)

Lizzy: (starts laughing) That was pretty funny.

Jaden: (laughs) I know!!

Yusei: (chuckles) Maybe we should try a different course.

Jaden: (yells) Rainbow Road!

Yugi: No, let's try a different one first.

Jaden: Then...let's do the DK course.

Lizzy: Okay! But before that, I'm gonna stop recording here. Honestly, we're gonna be playing Mario Kart for a while. Thanks for watching today and join us tomorrow for more fun!

Jaden: Hurry up and start the race!

Lizzy: Be patient, Jaden!

(turns video camera off)
