(video camera turns on in Lizzy's room)

Lizzy: Hello everyone! Today is Tuesday and I am extremely happy because my parents are coming home! I haven't seen them since before school actually started. So it's been a few months since I've seen Mom and Dad. I'm super excited! But until then.....(shows camera a Nintendo 3DS)...I'm gonna play some Pokémon!! Yeah!

(timeskip to later that day)

Lizzy: (plays on her 3DS) Oh no, my Dewott fainted!!! Not my little buddy!!

(hears doorbell)

Lizzy: (gasps) Could it be?! (runs out of her room)

Jarod: (yells) I'll get the door!

Lizzy: Oh okay. (stood at the staircase)

Jarod: (opens the front door) well, look who's back!

??: (laughs)

Lizzy: (runs down the stairs) Hi, Mom! (hugs her)

Mrs. Wood: (smiles) Hello, Lizzy! How are my kids?

James: We're doing good!

Mrs. Wood: Why do you have a camera, sweetie?

Lizzy: I'm making video journals of my life!

Mrs. Wood: Really?!

Lizzy: Yeah, I'm on Day.....what day am I on?

Jarod: Lizzy, you really have to keep track of those sort of things.

Lizzy: Wait, it's 16!! Today is Day 16.

James: Wow, that is a lot of days.

Mr. Wood: (walks into the house) Hello everyone, I am here now!

Lizzy: Hi, Dad!

Jarod: Hey Dad, how was the trip?

Mr. Wood: It was good. The museum exhibit looks really cool. We should all go visit sometime.

Lizzy: We should, we should! Oh, I'm doing video journals! Cool, right?

Mr. Wood: Uh-huh...why does that sound a bit suspicious? You're recording your life with a bunch of guy roommates.....

Lizzy: (pouts) Just because they're guys, doesn't mean that these videos suspicious! They are good people!!

Mr. Wood: (laughs) I'm just kidding, kiddo! I know they're good kids, even though I've only met one of them.

Lizzy: You didn't meet them last Christmas?

Mr. Wood: I think Leilani has met them but not me.

Lizzy: Oh okay. Well, I'm sure you're going to meet them sooner or later. Anyway, I'm gonna end it here. Thanks for watching today!

Jarod: She's gonna be hanging out with people tomorrow, specifically Keiza and Summer.

Lizzy: Hey, I was gonna say that!!! Now if you excuse me, I'm going to avenge my Dewott!!!

(turns video camera off)
