The first thing you noticed in the morning was that your children were home - it was Oboro who dropped them off for you so you don't have to travel all the way to get them- and the media was absolutely going crazy. After doing your morning routine with your kids and for yourself you decided to really read through the media and text messages. Apparently, someone has targeted all heroes and people who are mutated physically and they have been changed - hit by a quirk- that turns them into what society deems as "normal humans". That was the most offensive headline you've seen. There was nothing wrong with the way they looked before. There were pictures circulating and holy damn Kugo is hot, and so is Ryo and Selkie and everyone else. Oh shit.

"They're really good looking but, they were good looking before." You scrolled through the pictures updating every few minutes as new pictures surfaced and the whole internet was going wild. You turned on your TV and to no one's surprise, the news station was all over it like white on rice. You'll admit they were really good-looking, out of your league attractive. You wondered how long this was going to last. Hopefully not too long. You wanted them to have genuine friends and supporters, not people that only support them because they look "normal" according to societal standards. Bunch of bullshit.

"Gang Orca sir! A Word, please?" He turned to the camera and with an emotionless face stood still and nodded. He was completely ignoring the other people all over him in the back and sides.

"Please make it quick, I have business to attend to." The reporter was undeterred by his uninterested tone. Clearly, he was uncomfortable with the sudden attention.

"How do you feel about the change? Do you think it will last forever? You're going to get so many fans I think this is a miracle." You saw how his now present eyebrow twitched as his eyes bored into the reporters.

"I have no comments about anything you said. Good day." He turned on his heel and his pure size and demeanor created a path to get away from the crowd. The news reporter panned out and right into another situation where Centipeder was being interviewed looking uncomfortable as ever.

You turned off the TV and decided to just text them to see how they feel. The news shows their irritation at the sudden influx of attention. It's sad that that's how society works. They are well-known heroes, and did amazing things for Japan but, now because they are more human looking and "conventionally attractive" they have a huge fan base out of nowhere. They all came out of their holes and crevices. The disrespect. You decided to post a video and the next chapter of your herotoon. It was ready. You also posted sneak peeks of an animation you were doing on herotok as well. You got into the creator's fund pretty quickly and you were getting paid within the first week of being on there. It was nice, you were very fortunate. You checked your phone to see some of them had already beat you to the punch.

"How wrong would I be to hurt them? You know just a gentle tap into the water. Hold them down a bit. Test their lung capacity."

You giggled at Selkie's calm way of exploding. It was hard to get the man agitated.

"You see that would be ideal but, you are a hero and everything you just said wouldn't be very heroic of you." You can literally feel the eye roll the man gave.

"You're right but it's still nice to think about." You laughed at that and texted him some more switching between conversations with the others who were affected. It was wild. It was a straight-up wild day for them. The quirk lasts for a few days so now at least they know what they look like if they were more human-like. So stupid how society became all of a sudden "so accepting" and knows everything about them now that they fit societal beauty standards. Not wanting to dwell on it too much, you had chores to do. You didn't have to work on videos or anything like that since you had about 5 pre-recorded and 3 written chapters for your herotoon so you were good to go. You cleaned the whole house from top to bottom. It was about 2 when you started dinner even though it was considered early but, you didn't care. You were putting the food to finish cooking when you got a knock on the door. Not expecting company you went and opened the door forgetting to check who it was. You were bum-rushed by frantic heroes.

"I'm so sorry-"

"Sorry to intrude-

"You're our safe place-

"They didn't follow us in here-"

Your head was spinning as quite a few people entering your home and the last one closed the door behind them locking it. It was you think, Hound dog? Or Shishido? You don't know anymore. You stood staring at the door as they all crowded in the living room. You were trying to process everything that just happened. You went from bliss to a house full of people and you were not dressed or prepared for company. Not in the slightest.

"Are you sure it was okay to just come in here?" Now they have a voice of reason. After they came in, locked the door, and got comfortable they want to consider not coming in. Right.

"She didn't say anything."

"We kind of just brushed right by her with zero care and made ourselves comfortable."

"I think she's still processing what just happened."

"Considering she hasn't moved the last couple of minutes I'll have to agree." You honestly couldn't tell who was talking. You were trying to understand what happened. You opened the door, got sent to the shadow realm, came back, and now you have a living room full of people. Sounds about right. You decided to turn slowly and stare at them. That's it. Just stare.

"Hi, Y/N." It was Kishiko who surprisingly wasn't bald, he had dark blue hair to his shoulders. You blinked tilting your head to the side.

"You have nice hair Kishiko." He blinked not sure how to respond to that. You turned to the rest of the people in the room not saying a word. You wanted an explanation.

"...I'm going to assume that you'll want an explanation as to why we all came here unannounced." You turned to Kugo who was rubbing the back of his neck. He was cute.

"You didn't tell her?? I thought she knew!" You blinked slowly at...Ryo? You think it was Ryo.

"I didn't know I was getting company." You sniffed the air running to the food to turn down the flame and take the cookies out of the oven. Dinner was done and for some reason, you made an extra two dozen cookies. Your sixth sense must have told you, you needed extra cookies. You looked at them and then back at your unexpected company. You brought them out to them all attention on you "Want cookies?" It was quiet as you watched them all look away, turn red and start stuttering.

"U-Um, that w-would be n-nice. Thank y-you." You raised an eyebrow at a very tall man with brown hair and dark skin. You're going to take a wild guess and assume that's centipeder. You grabbed a bowl from the kitchen, put the cookies in the big bowl, and set it on the table.

"Please be careful to not knock anything over. It's expensive in here." You backed up tripping over someone's leg and landing in someone's lap. You looked up to look into amber-colored eyes. This must be Shishido "You have pretty eyes, Shishido." He looked surprised before you got up and went to the kitchen. You've only met the guy twice you knew that was awkward for him. You looked down at yourself to see yourself in boxers and a sports bra. Yeah, you're fine. They're the ones who came unannounced to your safe space. You glanced at the clock and saw you had an hour and a half until your children were home.

"So like, um, Y/N?" You walked back to the group waiting for them to say something. "You're not uh, weirded out that we all are here...?" You stood quiet humming lightly. You were upset but you accepted it. If push comes to shove you can kick them all out.

"I'm confused as fuck as to why no one let me know you were coming. Y'all couldn't take two seconds to inform me? I'm upset at the lack of communication, not the fact that you guys are here. Shit, I might as well have my other friends come." You were 100% joking about that. Do not come.

"I'm sorry" You turned surprised they all said it at the same time. They looked around just as surprised as you. You were about to say something when you heard a noise coming from the bedroom. They heard it too.

"Fuck, I was joking about having more company." You stomped your way to the room as the noise got louder. You had a feeling about who it was. Your door was open and you walked in on Shinyo, Keigo, and Rumi in a tussle. "The hell are y'all doing." They froze glancing up at you as your tail thumped impatiently. "Well?" Come on you had too many people in here.

"I was coming to see you."

"So was I but, my dear old dad caught me mid-flight." Keigo and Shinyo glared at each other.

"You the one who turned it into a race, I'll be damned if you won." They were about to tussle again when you cleared your throat.

"I understand the two of you coming here but, where does Rumi fall into this." She blinked looking to the side.

"I bumped into both of them mid-jump." Your eye twitched.

"So all three of you became a discombobulated mess in the sky and ended your asses here? I need to learn to lock my damn balcony." You rubbed a hand across your face. You had three more people, two with wings. Great. Fantastic "Disentangle yourselves and come to the living room with everyone else."

"Everyone else-"

"Who the fuck-" You ignored them going to the living room to see they all were on edge.

"Don't worry they're not a threat they're coming out of my room now." You went back to the kitchen turning off the food completely and leaving it there. You grabbed a bottle of water and drank it hearing the three occupants come out and greet the others. Oh, shit Shinyo. You choked and turned to see Shinyo greeting himself.

"I was not aware she was going to have so many people-" You cut him off.

"I WAS NOT EXPECTING NO ONE!" They ignored you. Assholes.

"I'm Shinyo, Keigo's dad." He didn't stick around choosing to follow you into the kitchen ignoring the questions and accusations. "Heroes really don't like to change huh." He made it to you and stole a cookie from the jar. "So how's my beautiful star doing?" You rolled your eyes. This man had no fear or filter.

"I'm stressed that there are so many people here. I don't mind it was just unexpected. I think I'm going to spazz if any more shows up." You really going to have to start kicking people out. You took a breath and saw you had a little less than an hour left. Should be enough time to talk you guess. Shinyo sat on the kitchen island to watch everyone else while Rumi and Keigo fit right in. You sat on the island itself on the piece that jutted out. You listened in on their conversations adding a tidbit here and there while holding your own conversation with Shinyo. A few minutes went by when you felt a shift in the air. "FOR FUCKS SAKE!" Your outburst startled the occupants as you stomped to the boy's room and opened the door. "Come on, come on out. You're here already." You tapped your foot as Oboro and Chizome slinked out with sheepish grins.

"Surprise?" You groaned out loud pointing to the kitchen island where Shinyo was.

"I didn't know you guys were coming."

"Yeah just wanted to surprise Y/N..." They both noticed all the heroes in the living room- albeit more human but still heroes- and slinked a little back. "Is this a bad time?"

"Nah it's whatever, all you fucks came unannounced anyway. Lucky I like all of you." You shook your head choosing to lay in the middle of the hallway to contemplate life. You listened to the conversations slowly start up again and you opted to stay on the floor. One more person. One more person came you were going to take a long walk off a short pier.

"I don't understand why she's friends with them."

"They were criminals, villains I doubt they changed." You gritted your teeth in annoyance. Who gives a fuck about occupation? It doesn't mean shit to how a person really is.

"Didn't he try to kill Ingenium? and other heroes as well? He's dangerous." You let out a screech silencing everyone.

"ONE MORE FUCKING WORD AND EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU CAN GET OUT OF MY APARTMENT!" You got up and stomped to where they were pissed. "I DON'T GIVE A DAMN HOW THE FUCK YOU FEEL ABOUT ANYONE. MY HOME MY RULES. YOU WILL RESPECT EACH OTHER IN HERE. WHATEVER YOU CHOOSE TO DO OUTSIDE IS ON YOUR CONSCIOUS BUT IN HERE WE TREAT EACH OTHER EQUALLY REGARDLESS OF WHAT WE DID IN THE PAST." You took deep breaths steam coming out before going back to the hallway and laying down on the floor with your phone. You had 40 minutes until your kids were home so they had time to decide to either leave or stay. It was quiet for a while before the conversation started and you relaxed a bit. They were going to kill you.

"...Y/N?" The voice was hesitant so you looked up to see everyone looking at you. "Want to play a quick game of Uno? Before we leave?" You squinted at them, huffed, and joined them for a game. You were happy to see Shinyo, Chizome and Oboro were playing as well. It went by pretty good noise escalating especially between Rumi and Keigo.

"GOD DAMMIT KEIGO." You blinked at the voice that came out of her. That wasn't her voice. That was a whole deep, very masculine, male voice. She froze along with Keigo for two seconds before you butted in before someone asked questions.

"Keigo got you good. Don't be a sore loser." You stuck your tongue out at her giving her a knowing look. She deflated giving you a thankful look as the game continued. In ten minutes the game was hella rowdy until you looked at the time and saw it was time to get your kids. "I'm going to get my babies. You guys can either leave or stay I don't care. Just don't break anything I'll be right back." You flew down the stairs not trusting them to be alone in your pretty apartment for too long. The bus was there, you snatched up your kids and decided to fly up to your balcony and enter your room through there.

"Wow, mama! Can we fly again? Your wings are so pretty!" You smiled as Toga and Hitoshi started playing with your wings.

"Mama who's inside?" You looked at Tenko pulling all three of them to the front.

"My friends including heroes, and some not heroes. You met them all but, they look different. They got hit by quirks to make them more...human-like." They frowned at that thinking.

"So like Uncle Kugo doesn't have a whale head? he looks like us?" You nodded your head bypassing the fact that Tenko called him uncle. Family-zoned him. You nodded your head at him watching the other two react,

"I can have them leave-"

"NO MAMA!" You looked surprised at their outbursts.

"They can stay! They make mama happy and when you're happy we're happy mommy!" You blinked surprised at the conviction in their voice before pulling all three of them in for a hug.

"Okay...Okay. We are going to go inside, you guys already know what to do and I'll have dinner ready for you three at the kitchen table okay?" They nodded and you guided them to their rooms to get ready as you went to wash your hands before messing with food yourself. You scared them when they saw you.

"You came through the balcony?!" You smirked heading to the kitchen setting up portions for your children and placing the plates on the table. You stood by the island watching as your kids came in staring at everyone. You watched as they watched everyone and you were surprised to see them grab their plates and make their way over. It was silent. Completely silent. You watched as Tenko went to Kugo, and stared at him before climbing into his lap like nothing to eat. Toga went to Ryo and Hitoshi went to Shinyo? Really? Both you and Shinyo looked at each other and back down to Hitoshi in surprise. You shrugged grabbing your own plate and watching in contentment as your kids happily ate and the conversation started up again but, this time a bit more softly and with no foul language. This was nice. Unexpected but, nice.
