It's been a few weeks since you had Tenko. Not only now were you the legal guardian he's getting along really really well, but he's also accommodated to his new way of life well. He enjoyed being with Aizawa a lot and with the Todoroki family whenever Rei would drop them off for a couple of hours so she could go to her therapy sessions. You finally convinced her to see a therapist and psychologist and, you could already tell with the weeks it's posing a positive effect on her. She smiles more, her eye bags are smaller and lighter, and she's actually eating and getting back to a healthy weight. It was nice to see and the mood of the children improved significantly. Touya was laughing freely with them. Such a change. You kept track of Enji to see how his therapy and anger management were doing. He had a lot of childhood trauma that was never handled properly which manifested in him believing abuse was okay. Even though it's no excuse he should have known better you can be considerate enough that the man was committed. Can't believe it took losing his family and title to change but, everyone got to start somewhere. Maybe one day in the future he can have a civil conversation with Rei. Or his children. Hm. That was thoughts for another time.

"Mama look." You turned to Tenko who was coloring wearing grey specialized gloves. You went to a quirk specialist that took a liking to Tenko and went out of his way to make gloves that'll last and grow with him as his hands got bigger. It was costly but worth it "It's me and you holding hands." You handled the crude drawing and placed it on the fridge for everyone to see. He was shy still but, you were proud and anyone who said otherwise can get the fuck out of your house. He's your child.

"It's beautiful Tenko, wanna draw mama another one?" He nodded his head happily and, got to work on who you assumed was going to be Eraserhead. This gave you time to finish enrolling him in school. His old school kicked him out because they're dicks so now you were looking to enroll him in the school to be with Shoto, Izuku, and Kirishima. Tenko seemed to like them a lot and he was only a year older than them so, he would at least have some familiar faces.

"This one is for Eraserhead! Oo, I can draw Shoto and and 'Zuzu and Kiripima." You felt your heart squeeze at the sheer level of cuteness. His lisp didn't allow him to pronounce some words probably and kiripima was the single cutest name you have ever heard. You let him be needing to do some adulting for the time being. You paid your bills online and over the phone and finished registering Tenko for school, making an appointment to go see the school before he actually goes. Hopefully, he will like it and if he doesn't after a couple of weeks you can always move him or even homeschool him if that's what he wants. You'll still make sure he gets kid interaction though to prevent stunting his growth. You started texting back your friends and heroes thanking God that you had unlimited text and call cause your phone bill would be through the roof. You were put in a group chat called 'Animal Crossing' and you snorted at the irony. It had you, Hawks, Miruko, Ryuku, Gang Orca, Selkie, Centipeder, Hound dog, Lion Hero Shishido, Serpentress, Best Jeanist, and Edgeshot(only exceptions). You had a separate group chat with Aizawa, Nem, Yamada, Power loader, Snipe, Vlad King, Crimson Riot, Fatgum, and Cementoss. The last group chat was with Manual, Mr. Brave, Gunhead, Native, Ingenium, Fourth Kind, and Rock Lock. Odd bunch of groups and your separate conversations with them and others as well. Too much to keep up with half the time but, you try.

"You want to eat out today Tenko? Mama doesn't feel like cooking." It caught you off guard how easily you fell into the mother role but, you liked it too.

"Yeah! Can we get pizza and soda pleaaassseeee" Of course he wants pizza and soda, what kid doesn't like pizza regardless of the toppings?

"Yes, my love go get your jacket and shoes I'm coming." You heard and watched him bound to the closet you kept his stuff. You made a section for him in the second bedroom where he had a desk, a closet, and a bin filled with toys and stuff. He had attachment issues and wanted to sleep with you and who were you to stop him? You'll give him all the hugs, attention, and love he deserves. You grabbed your purse and phone holding a hand out to him when he came back with big smiles and all "Let's go." The two of you left going to the pizzeria 10 minutes away. You both sat down and ate food where he saw another kid and played with him a bit, you got the mother's number like a good mom yourself to set up play dates. So weird but, whatever. You'll kick her ass if she tries to kidnap Tenko.

"She was so nice! Her name is Toga mama! She doesn't have friends because of her quirk but, I told her I'll be her friend!" You listened to him babble happily about the girl as you thought back to her mother. She was acting strange. She kept asking for details about your personal life and looking at you and Tenko really hard. It was so weird and your gut was telling you something is wrong especially since she made a playdate for later on in the week, so soon. With a stranger? It just didn't add up but, Tenko and the Toga girl were ecstatic so you let it slide for now. You both were passing by an alley when you heard a noise. You looked down and out came a cat. Alley cats were always so loud "Kitty!" Tenko got down and beckoned the cat over. Hesitantly the cat came over and allowed him to pet it even purring at how gentle Tenko was being. You watched him but, out the corner of your eye, you saw purple and footsteps.

"I'm going to check to see if there are any more kittens. If anyone bothers you scream and mama will come okay baby?" He nodded at you going back to the cat as you walked into the alley. You weren't looking for a cat. "There you are." Hiding behind the dumpster was a little boy. He was very scared. He was cowering hunching in on himself covered in dirt, sweat, blood, and no shoes. He looked really thin too. You had flashbacks of yourself cowering in alleyways and eating out of dumpsters. You squatted down to your haunches but, left a significant space. "Hi, baby. My name is Y/N." You spoke in a soft and low voice. You didn't want to be threatening or scare him away. He watched you still hiding but he was hunching no more. You let him get a good look at your scars even pulling up your sleeves to show him. "These hurt a lot when I got them. I'm better now." You didn't ask or force him to do anything. Patience and kindness always won in these situations.

"I don't want to go back." You weren't sure what back was but, he didn't have to go if he didn't want to.

"I won't make you, no police either." When you were like this you hated the idea of going to the police. "Are you hungry? Me and Tenko over there." You pointed in the direction of Tenko happy to see that he peeked to look at him before looking back at you. "I promise I won't hurt you, I can feed you, give you a warm bath and a warm bed to sleep in okay? We don't have to talk, we can do that tomorrow? If that's what you want." You really hoped he would come with you and if he didn't, you will find where he's staying and pull a Todoroki all over. He looked at you before slowly coming out. You stood up and backed up to not crowd him. He looked between you, Tenko, and your tail. You offered your tail to him which he hugged and you simply picked him up "Come on love." You walked right back out to Tenko who looked at you curiously before his eyes widen at the little purple hair boy. "Let's get him some food, he's hungry." Tenko nodded grabbing your hand and occasionally looking back at the boy with a smile every time. He was trying and that's all you can ask for. You made it back to the apartment and noticed the boy had literal rags on. "Tenko turn the bath on for me and fill it up warm and put the bubble bath in it too." You had extra of everything so you weren't worried. "Do you want to eat first or do you want to take a bath?" He was looking around your apartment in awe wringing his fingers together.

"U-U-um....F-f-f-food." He cringed scrunching his eyes closed as if he was ready to be hit. You took a deep breath to control the sudden rage you felt for whoever did this to him.

"That's fine love, you can sit at the table and I'll bring your food." You had some avocado and salmon sushi rolls. Hopefully, he can eat it. You brought them over on a plate with chopsticks and a cup of juice for him "Do you like salmon?" He paused picking up a roll and tasting it before shoving the whole thing in his mouth. He nodded while stuffing his mouth. "Slow down love so you don't choke." You fought the urge to rub his back not wanting him to flinch. He seemed to have an aversion to touch and, that could be fixed with patience and love. You waited for him to finish eating while Tenko hovered trying to color or paint to keep from staring. He finished so you took the plate and, took him to the bathroom "Do you need help?" He was hesitant rubbing his arms and looking back at you. With a hesitant yes, you took those rags off of him looking at the cuts and bruises that littered his body. "I can bandage up those booboos for you after we are done, okay?" He said nothing except stare at you. He must be in shock. Hell, you would be if you were him. Time went by as you carefully washed off the dirt and scum, even getting a little giggle out of him when you gave him a bubble stache. You dried him off gently and then used the clothes Tenko gave you to dress him after you bandaged him. His hair naturally defied gravity but, instead of a dull purple, it was more lilac now. "Where would you like to sleep? I can set up the couch in the living room, or you can sleep in the bed in the second-"

"With you a-a-and T-Tenko." Both you and Tenko looked at him before looking at each other with a big grin.

"Slumber party! Imma set up the bed! Mama is the best, she can read us stories and keep us safe from the bad guys!" Tenko in his glee ran to the room to do just that.

"Shinsou." You turned to him to see he was staring at you already "My name is Shinsou." You smiled gently at him.

"That's a pretty name Shinsou." He seemed to be contemplating something before he closed his eyes and jumped on you in a hug. You were surprised but, quickly hugged him back "You're so nice." You hummed gently opting to finally rub his back and head this time loving how he melted into you. "I don't wanna...go back." You shushed him gently, rocking him back and forth.

"You won't...I'll make sure of that." Welp, time to text Aizawa cause you did it again.
