Let Go *Edited*

A/N: I just realized I'm dumb and need to elaborate on a few things. Y/N identifies with the following pronouns, she/her and she/they so essentially female reader insert, Y/N has more than one quirk so far she has a retractable tail, claws, and talons, enhanced speed and strength along with elemental control. Her lizard-like quirk made her eyes an amber-golden color. There are a couple more quirks I have not discussed yet in the story but will be found out eventually. Thank you and enjoy this long chapter :)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was another two weeks since you had visited Shiketsu Academy and ended up getting confronted by Lisvette and Michael. That's how Izumaru figured out that it was you he has been texting and he hasn't stopped since. You still haven't responded but, he knows you're the one, how else did you know Michael and Lisvette went to Shiketsu? He also told you the exact location and class schedule for him and the twins. That actually made you smile because he was telling you without telling you he wants a visit and you might consider it. Maybe. You wanted to see your father first though. If he never changed anything of his since he was forced to leave when you were 8...

"You want to call him don't you." You looked over at Serpentress surprised to even be in her agency. You don't know how or when it happened but, she really liked you and demanded your attention whenever you were available. This is your third time here and she spoke as if she knew you for years.

"My dad? Yeah, I do...If he really didn't change the number you know." You stared down at your phone trying to figure out if you really should. You didn't want to be making a mistake and regret it. If anything you missed him more than anything but, it's been 15 years. A lot happens in 15 years, you weren't the sweet little girl he used to take out on trips and to school and tell her everything about the world. You were a grown woman who bared the weight of the world on her shoulders, who was broken and had to put herself back together. It was a lot.

"Well based on what you told me I think he would love to see you. I don't think he would have kept the letters or kept everything the same since you were a baby if he didn't want to see you. He may be reaching out in his own little weird ways but, it's so hard for both of you. You have every right to not want anything to do with them and you have every right to try to rekindle with your estranged family. At the end of the day, it's all up to you." She excused herself as the phone rang giving you some privacy. You sat there thinking a bit. It was Thursday and today was the last day of school for your children since it was spring break. Your ribs had healed completely so Friday night you were going out for drinks, food, and dancing with just about everyone. Should you wait? You stared down hard at the keypad willing yourself to hit the numbers. It's not like you didn't forget the numbers, you remembered everything.

"Here goes nothing." Before you convinced yourself not to you typed in his number hitting the call number. You brought it to your ear listening. Bliiiiiiing, bliiiiiiing, bliiiiiiiiing. You almost considered hanging up when you heard a ruckus on the other end.

"Give me a minute please I have to take this call." Tears streamed down your face as words failed you. You were trying to breathe normally but couldn't. It was him. It was your papa. You haven't heard his voice in so long. He sounded older but, the same soft baritone that you loved was there. It was your Oto bear. "I apologize for the hold-up, I was taking care of something. How can I help you?" You had to get it together before he hung up. You took a deep shuddering breath before saying two words you knew he would recognize.

"Oto bear." It was completely silent on the other end before something dropped clanging against the floor and the sound of a body sliding down a wall.

"My Hana." That's all it took for the dam to break.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You were on the phone with him for about 20 minutes both of you agreed to meet at his home. He had in fact kept the same everything since you were a baby. After hanging up with him you weren't sure what you were feeling. You leaned back into the couch taking a deep breath feeling lighter. You honestly felt lighter and dare you to say a bit excited. After literal years of missing each other's life- not that you did much until you were 18 and left but still- you were going to see him and be able to catch up with him about everything. Now to only break the news to the others...They weren't going to be too happy about this, maybe, maybe not. Your brain hurts.

"Hun, I think it's time for you to head out now. I don't want your friends thinking I kidnapped you." You glanced back at Uwabami who was filing away at her nails. She had a point.

"You're right, I'm going to see you later." After waving bye to her you exited the building and decided to send a collective voice note describing the general situation to each of the group chats. Responses were immediate and you got a bunch of private messages. You took one look at your pinging phone and decided to just answer it once you were on the bus. You waited patiently wanting to just go get something to eat. The children were going to come out early at 12:30 so Rei agreed to pick them up for you and take care of them until you came to pick them up later on in the afternoon. That was really nice of her, she was such a gem. You hope she finds someone to make her happy. Once the bus came you got on and decided to check your messages since you were going to be on the bus for at least half an hour. Tsunagu, Kugo, and Kishiko (Selkie) had similar concerns and were learning to use emojis. So proud.

The "U.A Gang" said they'll come to make sure you're actually safe, the other pro heroes created separate messages to you expressing how they feel about the whole situation. It was a giant caring mess but, you don't mind it. You spent the rest of the bus ride thinking about your developing friendships with all of them. Keigo was a hot mess, a hot flirty mess that when he talked he said everything without saying anything. He and Rumi were best friends unsurprisingly. The U.A Gang were actually some of the sweetest people that loved to flirt with you, not that you minded. Masaki had asked you out on a couple more friend dates as well as Yudai (Mr. Brave). Jin and Atsuhiro asked you out for drinks as well twice and stopped by your home a couple of times. You thought back to the life you had five years ago to now and it amazed you. If someone told you that you'll be on your own two feet, alive, adopted three kids, and had a bunch of hero friends you would have looked at them like they were crazy.

"Next stop is Ashter Place" You got up heading to the front of the bus. Time flies when you get lost in thought. You thanked the driver getting off and heading towards one of your favorite mutant quirk-friendly spots. They catered to those who have an animal/insect or special diet which is perfect for you. You can freely ask for raw meat without needing to worry about being judged. Everyone here was eating something unique so no need to be ashamed. You waited your turn to order nodding here and there at parents with their children or other couples. Everyone was so friendly, it was such a contrast to how people in a high-class restaurant would treat people with mutant quirks or just someone who didn't fit societal norms.

"Toshi's mom!" You turned at the high-pitched voice smiling when you saw Tokoyami and Mezo waving excitedly at you. You waved and smiled at their parents first before crouching and waving at the two kids. You had already ordered so you stood on the side to talk with them. They were animated until their parents called them and you were left alone again which was fine with you. You grabbed the food, waved bye to everyone, and headed out to wait for the bus towards Rei's place to pick up your children. You called to let her know you were on your way. Cue half an hour later you had all three of your children saying see you later to her and her four children. You and your children decided to walk home as they talked animatedly about their day and how excited they were about Spring Break. You listened to them ramble on as they clung to your tail and shirt never letting go. Once you guys were home you let them go change and clean themselves - of course, you had to help AND do most of the work but, you let them believe they did everything- before settling down in their rooms to do whatever it is they wanted. You decided to sit in the spare room now a library and read in your reading nook. You had takeout and since no one was hungry you were going to save it for later. That's how the rest of the day went, you had a nice time with your children especially since they all eventually flocked to the library and sat on the floor in a semi-circle around you. This was nice. This was something that you can get used to.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was the next day and you were nervous. You told your children that you were going to hang out with your friends tonight and they were going to spend the night with Rei and her babies. They were upset about not being with you but, once you mentioned playing and no homework they were happy again. Rei had come and picked them up at 4 to give you time to get ready and that's where the problem was. What were you going to wear? You were so excited about doing something normal for once that you forgot about actually dressing into something comfortable and sexy at the same time. Something flexible too since you planned on dancing-hopefully- but, you had nothing. This was a crisis. You needed help. You called the next best people who can help and that happened to be Nem and Yu. 10 minutes later they told you to meet them at the nearest mall they will help you the best they can. You knew that meant they weren't leaving until they found something you loved. Good enough for you. Quickly throwing on ripped jeans and a t-shirt you grabbed all your stuff and headed out. The mall wasn't far, it was about an hour's ride from where you lived. You caught the bus rather quickly and were at the mall in no time. Nem and Yu were already inside the food court so that's where you met them at. You saw them bickering at a table but, when they saw you they stopped.

"Here's the beauty we've been waiting for." They both got up grabbing a hand each.

"There's no time to spare, we got just the stores to go to." You didn't know how to feel about all of this but, it couldn't have been too bad right?

------------------------------------------------------

You regret everything. It was a mistake going with them because Nem kept choosing the raunchiest outfits and then Yu kept insisting on you dressing like a nun. You weren't confident enough to wear the outfits Nem was pointing out but, Yu wanted to dress you like you were going to church. Maybe you can combine both of their outfit ideas and create your own. That's exactly what you decided to do. You looked in the racks pulling out a fitted black mesh shirt and a cute bralette for underneath. You bought a bright red ruched skirt that was stretchy and hugged in all of the right places. You grabbed a pair of laced-up black boots that have chunky heels as well. You refused to show Yu and Nem opting to surprise them. Paying for the items you bid them farewell as the three of you went your separate ways. By the time you got home, it was 6:30 PM which gave you an hour to get ready. With speed, you took a shower, ate something light in case you didn't like the food, got dressed, and did your hair and makeup. You gave yourself a look in the mirror and, honestly, this is the first time you actually put in the effort, and you were surprised. You looked beautiful. You were absolutely stunning. You definitely were feeling yourself. You couldn't even see your scars! The tights and mesh shirt covered them pretty well. "I'm going to have fun tonight." You looked in the mirror again making sure your hair and makeup were good before winking. You giggled calling a taxi. You checked the time and it was 7:35 meaning you were going to be a little late. That's fine you'll let them know you were on your way. The taxi came in 7 minutes and soon enough with money, keys, mints, and your phone you were on your way. You texted the group to ask what were you supposed to say to get in and they simply said to say Kugo Sakamata. Apparently, Kugo was related to the owner and got everyone who knew him personally in for a price. You were nervous. The taxi was looking back at you in the rearview mirror.

"You look, beautiful darling. Be safe and have a fun night." You blinked at the old man before grinning at him. Yeah. You were here to have fun and not think of anything. You were going to let loose this time. One time has never hurt anyone. In about 20 minutes you had made it to the lounge/club area and you felt yourself get cold feet. No pun intended. You thanked the taxi having paid him already and stood in front of the place. It was huge. It was expensive. It was just downright intimidating. You texted the group just in case you were here. You got in line already feeling a bit self-conscious. Everyone was laughing and with someone and here you were wanting to be independent and come by yourself. Fuck. The people in front of you got in without asking but, when it got to you the bodyguard stopped you...

"Who are you here with?" You swallowed the sudden lump in your throat

"Kugo Sakamata." You made your voice as light as possible and after being looked at up and down you were allowed to go in. Once inside you felt your jaw drop. Huge was an understatement. There were security guards at each corner and it was three floors. The main floor was where you can drink and chill, downstairs was the dance floor and, upstairs seemed to be V.I.P. Something told you everyone was upstairs. You only had so many social nerves if you had to ask one more time to get into V.I.P and you were denied you were just going to go home. You checked your phone since you didn't see anyone only to find out they were in fact V.I.P. Someone had to come and get you. Fuck this. You told them to come and get you so you waited by the V.I.P door where two security guards were looking at you weirdly.

"This is for V.I.P only." You nodded your head at them.

"I know, I'm waiting for someone." You had to lowkey shout and you hoped they hurried up and got you. You didn't like the people staring at you.

"They would have come down already." It's literally only been 30 seconds but, they were adamant about getting rid of you. Before you can say anything the door opened and there was Yamada. He told security something and with a nod they allowed you to pass staring at you. Once the steel door closed it was so much quieter. You were able to hear yourself think for once. It was much brighter in here too.

"I'm sorry about that, I didn't think they would be so-" His rambling stopped as he got a good look at you. His eyes widen with a dropped jaw. You don't know why he looked good himself. He had on a pair of leather pants that sat low on his hips and an opened burgundy shirt showing off his muscles and tattoos. His hair was in a low bun and he had on his regular classes. He looked pretty.

"You're handsome Hizashi." He blinked at the compliment turning red from his neck to the tips of his ears.

"MEEEE, uh, thank you, but, YOU." He grabbed your hand urging you to twirl and you obliged giggling at his whistle "Hot damn who knew you were hiding all of that. You're gorgeous." You giggled both embarrassed and pleased. You never got genuine compliments and you weren't entirely sure what to do with them. "Let's go with the others before I hog you the whole night." He grabbed your hand pulling you to where you assumed everyone else was. Once you entered you saw it was just as big downstairs but, it was all heroes. It was everyone who worked as heroes or even sidekicks. You weren't close enough but, you knew everyone looked good. They smelled good too. Shit. Calm down hormones. Once close enough Hizashi being Hizashi proudly announced your entrance. They all turned to that and you wanted to melt at the sudden attention.

"Hi." You weren't used to the looks you were getting. Wide eyes, jaws slipped, even a couple of nose bleeds. What were you supposed to do?

"DAMN BABE YOUR HOT AS FUCK!" You jumped and of course, it was Nem who whooped. "COME HERE!" She was making grabby hands and slowly you made your way to her. You were too slow for her since she got up and met you bringing you into her body. You both were flushed together. Dammit Nem and her boldness. "If I knew you were coming looking like that I would have kept you all to myself." You wanted to melt into the floor. Please.

"Get your hands off her old hag." Nem pulled away and in replacement was Yu. She was wearing a short purple dress that did nothing to hide her physique. Nor her boobs squishing into your shoulder right now. "She's ours tonight. You got to share her." You were overwhelmed a bit. Shared? Que?

"Can the woman have a seat before you try to eat her?" You turned to see it was Masaki who said that. They smirked at him.

"Oh don't worry sugar, you'll have your turn with her in no time." They winked and all he did was look away with a shake of his head. While they were doing that, you were looking for a seat only to not notice one.

"Where am I going to sit?" You said it loud enough for all of them to hear. They all looked around and indeed there was no seat. None at all.

"I'm sure nobody here won't mind you sitting on their lap." You choked on your saliva. The boldness. Nem never ceased to surprise you at this point. She started dragging you looking at everyone. "So." She put you in front of her holding you by the hips. "Who wants her to sit on them first." You groaned looking back at Nem. Why must she make everything sound so crude? It's a talent you swear. "If someone doesn't volunteer I'm going to choose."

"Do I get a say in this?" You were curious because you didn't want to make anyone uncomfortable. That's the last thing you wanted to do. "Not that I mind, I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable." That's when Yu butted in.

"Oh honey, trust me when I say no one here will be uncomfortable." You didn't know what any of that meant but, whatever. You looked around and decided to maybe, sit on Kugo's lap. You didn't think he minded also, you had plenty of laps to switch around to so no one felt left out. You might as well make it a game. You're also going to want to dance with them as well. Taking a deep breath you walked towards where Kugo was and stood in front of him gesturing to his lap. After a minute he pulled back and patted his lap a bit for you. Taking the initiative you sat comfortably wiggling a bit before you felt right. You looked ahead at everyone and they had varying looks. You were trying to pinpoint but, you didn't have enough time before waiters and waitresses came out with drinks and food.

"ALRIGHT, IT'S DRINKING TIME!" As the atmosphere was broken with various voices at different pitches you had one thought as you scooted a little farther back on Kugo's lap to keep from falling. This was going to be a long night.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Who do you think has a crush on you? It can be anyone I haven't explicitly mentioned too! What do you think is going to happen next chapter? How do you think things are going to go with Y/N's father?
