When morning came you were more than reluctant to talk to Shinsou but, it had to be done. You found out that his parents didn't like him because he was a wild card that had a 'villainous' quirk and was going to get rid of him. Pissed you had Aizawa watch them as you went straight to his home which was surprisingly 15 minutes from where you lived. You'll admit you were not kind and after some heated words, you used your quirk to scare them into relinquishing their rights properly especially since you had evidence of abuse, lack of clothes, lack of food, use of a muzzle, and dried blood and vomit in the basement where they kept him. It wasn't a long process and, by the end of it, you had more people both like and dislike you which didn't matter. You told Shinsou the news and, understandably he didn't believe you until a week later when the police came and told him he does not have to go back, he can stay with you if that's what he wanted. The wailing that came out of that little body was tremendous but, it was of relief something a five-year-old should not be feeling. Now though? He was happy, of course, he wasn't used to it but, he was so much better. He laughed freely, and with little hesitance, he would ask for food or something to drink and, you wouldn't get mad at him for anything. One time he dropped a plate, it cracked and he went into hysterics curling up into a ball. It took you and Tenko to calm him down that you weren't mad, it was an accident, it's okay. Maybe murder could be legal in your book? Hmm.

"You're making a weird face mama." You looked at Tenko who started mushing your face. You glanced over at Shinsou who was watching you two interact. He did that a lot and, whenever Tenko did something he would do it too later on just to see if he can do it too. You never denied him but, let him do everything at his pace. Each kid is different.

"Is it better now?" You stuck your tongue out loving the weird cackle he made. "What do you think Toshi?" You made the same face, tail moving excitedly when he gave a small smile. He moved forward and very hesitantly placed his hands on your face. You leaned lightly into his hold which he adored gaining more confidence. He mushed your face giggling. Nothing is more precious to you than the giggles of a child. Once satisfied he went back to the game he was playing with Tenko. You went to the laptop to check your emails about that school enrollment. Ever since you got Hitoshi, you started doing book reviews online using the extra money to buy him all the things he needed. The elderly couple at the bakery adored Hitoshi and had no problem watching him and Tenko while you worked. The regular patrons found out about you adopting the two and thankfully were very calm and chill about it. As they should be because whoever you adopt is none of their business but yours and whoever else you choose it to be. Two of the regulars that always struck up a conversation with you were a guy named Jin who constantly argued with himself in two different voices and a magician that called himself Mr. Compress. He has yet to tell you his real name saying 'a magician never spills his secrets.' Such a strange man. He and Jin knew each other and seemed to have gone to school together or whatever. Toshi and Tenko both got attached to them and you don't know how to feel about that. You'll find out though. "Toshi guess what!" You turned to him with a smile "You'll be with Zuzu, Kiripima, and Tenko!" His eyes widen as Tenko gasped.

"He gets to go to school with us! Yay!" He hugged Hitoshi letting go when he flinched but, was pulled back in by a determined and happy Toshi.

"Do you boys want ice cream?" You were going to spoil the absolute hell out of them for as long as you can.

"YEAH!!" You giggled as they scurried to put their shoes on. It was hot outside so you chose to wear the dress they both liked. It was a flowy flower dress that was cut out in the front. You didn't like dresses and skirts so much since they exposed your scars but, you'll do anything to make them smile. Even if it means being stared at and ridiculed.

"You boys are ready?" You put on sandals letting your hair do its own thing cause fuck it. They nodded happily each one grabbing your hand as all three of you left the apartment. You bumped into Eraserhead on your way out waving as the boys excitedly smiled at him. "You want me to pick you up something on my way back?" You knew he would say no but, you wouldn't listen.

"You look nice." You smiled softly thanking him and bidding him a see you later missing how he looked at you a little longer than necessary. The three of you decided to walk the 30 minutes to the ice cream parlor opting to use your tail to carry them when they got tired. You were enjoying the scenery until you heard someone call you.

"Y/N!" You turned to see Mr. Brave was waving at you and you waved back. "Nice to see you, I like the dress by the way." You smiled at him thanking him. "Where are you heading to with your boys?" Everyone on your phone knew about your boys and met them too. They liked the less flashy heroes over the flashier heroes.

"Getting some ice cream cause Toshi will be going to school with his brother so it was time for a celebration." He nodded bidding you guys a farewell. You continued and once inside you saw a familiar duo talking back and forth with each other. You smirked sneaking up behind them and tapping Jin on his shoulder.

"WOAH! WHO IS THAT? OH, it's just Y/N!" You smiled at him saying hi to Mr. Compress as well who seemed to be stuck in a stupor. He was a bit of a mystery since you didn't know his name and he always wears a face mask that showed his eyes and mouth but, that's it. To each, own though. "You look beautiful, no she doesn't, don't be mean! she's gorgeous not just beautiful." You giggled feeling yourself blush at the compliment. You weren't used to compliments but, you were polite though. Mr. Compress still hasn't said anything. You ordered the ice cream while you struck up a conversation with Jin not knowing Mr. Compress broke out of his stupor to play with Hitoshi and Tenko. It was fine and after a while, all of you left the ice cream parlor.

"How long have the two of you known each other? Are you guys dating?" If they were that would have been cute. You heard both of them choking and blushing. How did you know Mr. Compress was blushing? A mystery.

"Don't get me wrong! Jin is a very handsome man but, he is simply not my type." Jin nodded his head in agreement and you giggled.

"Yeah, that's weird, he's more like a brother, it would be like incest." You nodded your head as you continued walking lulling Tenko and Hitoshi to sleep. They were full, hot, and tired so they fell asleep instantly. You cradled them in your tail as you continued to walk talking to the two men with you the whole time until you made it back to the apartment.

"Do you guys want my number so we can keep in touch or is that weird?" By the time you turned they both had their phone out looking in the other direction. You giggled putting your number in for both their phones. You bid them both goodbye as you went upstairs to put your kids to sleep until you remembered you needed to buy some art supplies for a commission you were doing. Shit. They paid extra too for the supplies. Outside you go again. Maybe Zawa could watch them...Once inside and on the floor you knocked on his door waiting for him to answer. He did in a pair of cat pajamas.

"Back from your trip I see." You smiled at him.

"I need a small favor. I need some supplies for an art commission I need to do so...can you watch them until I come back? I promise I won't be no more than an hour tops." In the middle of you asking he was already grabbing both of them from you.

"Don't take forever." You thanked him profusely. You left the apartment complex catching the bus just in time to take it a few stops to the art supply store. You already knew what you needed so you went through the aisle getting the paint colors, markers, latex, and anything else you needed. You didn't spend a lot of money and you were waiting for the bus when you heard rustling in the trees behind you. You looked behind you and saw blonde hair. Looking around to suspiciously see no one you went to the spot stopping in front of the bush.

"Hello?" Whoever it was yelped and sniffed before stepping out. Your eyes widen when you saw it was Toga with a book bag and two duffle bags crying. You got down on your knees in front of her pulling her into a hug "What happened Toga? Where's your mama? How come you got all this stuff with you?" You had a nasty feeling as to what this was.

"S-she d-d-didn't w-want me...my q-quirk is n-nasty....no one w-w-wants someone w-w-with a b-b-blood q-q-q-quirk." You let the traumatized girl vent and cry at the same time. Quirks. It was always about a god damn quirk. Quirk discrimination had a higher percentage than racism and that was saying something. "I-I d-d-don't know w-w-where t-to g-g-go" Of course she doesn't, she's the same age as Tenko she shouldn't know what to do. What the hell kind of people exist in this world? Why do quirks always have to do so much damage to people?

"You can stay with me for now until we figure this out okay? You don't need to know now okay? Come on." You picked up her bags and carried the girl who had refused to let you go the entire time. You couldn't believe it. You didn't know why these things kept happening to you. They're not bad just confusing. Honestly, when were you going to stop adopting children? You were going to have to move soon if you keep this up, your home was already crowded since it went from 1 to 2 to 3 and now four. You were confused and maybe Zawa can help you with this because you were tired.

"Can I stay with you? I like Tenko he's so nice to me and so are you." Great, there goes your heart. What is life going to be like now?
