To your chagrin, he laughed, which you expected. He was an arrogant asshole as well as the number two hero. Why should he be intimidated by a supposed-to-be civilian?

"I don't have time for this. REI!" He walked forward as you moved back. Perfect. You needed him on camera and for the microphones to pick up his voice. Which won't be hard since the man was naturally loud.

"Your wife and children are not here. They are safe though- not that you would care." He turned to you this time and looked at you for a good minute. His flames grew his eyes bulging with anger.

"WHY THE FUCK ARE THEY NOT HERE." You looked at him calculating your next words. You had relaxed a bit but, you were still on edge and ready to leap.

"They went for a walk. They just wanted to get some fresh air. They know I'm here too." You may have gotten them in 'trouble' but, it was to help you with the whole trespassing thing that you knew was going to be on your head.

"She will never do anything without MY explicit permission, she knows the consequences." That sentence didn't sit well with you and it took self-control to keep you from growling. You needed this man to talk for evidence so, you'll play nice.

"I thought she could do as she pleases since she lives here too." He laughed out loud again.

"I don't even know why I'm wasting my breath on a waste of space like you but, if you must know I'll put it in simple terms for your lizard brain to understand. I own her, when I bought her from her parents I didn't love her and I still don't. She gave me three mistakes and finally, she did something right and gave me Shoto. He's going to be the one to defeat All Might. He's my prodigy and as soon as his quirk shows it's training time. Of course, the bitch will try to stop me but all I got to do is knock her out and she will be docile." There was way too much to unpack in those statements.

"What kind of training?" He rolled his eyes scoffing before crossing his arms and looking down at you with a look of pure disgust and contempt. It didn't phase you, it wasn't the first time someone looked at you like that and, it won't be the last.

"So he can surpass All Might. That's the only reason he exists. I tried with my first mistake Touya but, he kept burning himself because he got his weak mother's body but, a fire quirk. He burns himself too much so he has no potential. He can go and be with the second and third mistakes Natsuo and Fuyumi. I will be handling Shoto soon. He can eat when he earns it, he can sleep when he earns it. This house is big enough for me to ignore all the other mistakes here so I don't have to worry about them interfering with his training." You had to blink and take in a few deep breaths. You wanted to punt him across the floor you really did.

"Your children are not mistakes." He scoffed looking down at you as if your very existence offended him. More than likely did.

"Yes, they are. I wouldn't expect something like you to understand. The whole point of even having Rei here was to have a child that has a fire and ice quirk. Shoto was the only one so the rest of the failed attempts can stay out of my sight with their useless mother."

"So, you only had children to get the 'perfect' one. You should love all of them the same." He growled at that his fire growing again.

"Love is not given, love is earned. Of course, you don't understand, you fucking mutants are underdeveloped and can't comprehend simple conversations." You felt your face twitch and your tail move with your controlled aggravation.

"Is that how you feel about all people with mutant quirks? Or just me?" You knew you had him when he smirked nastily at you.

"All of you. You are not people. All of you are a disease. All you do is just get in the way. You, Hawks, that rabbit bitch, that dragon bitch, that fucking Orca, that spotted seal, all of you are a waste of space. None of you should even exist." Okay, that stung a bit but, it pissed you off all the same too.

"Why? Why shouldn't we exist? We didn't ask to be born this way, why should a quirk define a person's worth?" You always wondered that. Why should a person's quirk define how worthy they are? It never made sense to you.

"Because you stupid bitch, that's all people care about. People only care about your quirk it determines if you're worth people's time or not. That's why quirkless people kill themselves because they are useless and worthless. They take up unnecessary space." You looked at him as he got in your face looking way too smug for his liking.

"I don't understand you at all. There are so many people who look up to you, Hawks and Mirko included and, you have the audacity to say they shouldn't exist simply because they resemble animals. What is the matter with you?" You can hear his teeth grinding together as he stared hard at you.

"They shouldn't and the next time I see them I'll be sure to tell them exactly that. There is nothing wrong with me. Love is not something given, it is earned and no one has ever earned it. Those animals shouldn't even be allowed to have a chance at anything let alone playing hero." You shook your head at him utterly disgusted at the way he is. He needed anger management, family therapy, regular therapy, and a few other things you can't think of right now.

"You need help. You need a lot of help and I'm not being condescending-" You both expected and didn't expect the hit. You knew he wanted to hit you but, you didn't think he would do it now. He hit you upwards making you hit the ceiling and then back to the floor with a thud. You got up quickly trying to put space between the two of you. You felt your head bleeding but, it didn't matter.

"YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING! NOTHING! YOU ARE NOTHING! YOU COME IN HERE ACTING LIKE YOU KNOW SOMETHING! ANIMALS ARE NOT MEANT TO BE HEROES! IN ORDER FOR SHOTO TO BECOME NUMBER ONE HE NEEDS TO WORK HARD AND SURPASS ME! HE'S WEAK, THEY'RE ALL WEAK! LOVE IS NOT GIVEN, IT'S EARNED, IT'S EARNED!" He was hysterical sending out fire not noticing that he was burning his own house down.

"ENJI STOP! YOU'RE BURNING YOUR HOUSE!" You yelped jumping back from a fallen beam. The floor was creaking. Ah shit.

"FUCK YOU, GET AWAY FROM ME!" You were trying but, the fire and he was making it hard.

"ENJI WATCH OUT!" He didn't hear you as a beam from above him hit him in the head stopping his fire temporarily. He was disoriented and you saw blood pouring. Fucking asshole. You took the chance to jump on his back and cover his head as he started thrashing.

"GET THE FUCK OFF ME YOU PIECE OF SHIT MONSTER!" The word monster made you cringe but, you still protected his head.

"HATE ME ALL YOU WANT BUT I AM NOT GOING TO LET YOU GET HURT BECAUSE YOU ARE EMOTIONAL NOW GET US OUT OF HERE! BE A FUCKING HERO AND MOVE!" He was screaming obscenities at you but, did as told running through the house and throwing himself out the window with you still attached to him. The two of you rolled in the grass stopping in the middle. You let him go before he can throw you off. You went to orient yourself and stood still as everything came into focus. There were heroes here, Endeavor looked like he was stuck between killing you or attacking someone else, you smelled like burned meat. You looked down and saw raw pink skin on your hands and arms. Of course, you were burned. You always got fucking burned. You were ugly as it is might as well get uglier.

"YOU BITCH! THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!" You were seeing two of him and they were both pointing very angrily at you. Funny.

"Last time I checked you're the one with the fire quirk Endeavor." You turned your head to see Aizawa standing next to you. Was he close or were you close? Depth perception was shit right now. You blocked out everything else going with the motions. You felt yourself being moved to an ambulance and put on a gurney. They placed an oxygen mask over your face-which you didn't understand because you could breathe- they started talking to you but, everything blurred together. Maybe you needed to rest your eyes for a second? You can focus then and answer their questions then?

You were a fool to believe that you would wake up in the ambulance. The next time you woke up it was to the smell of alcohol and chlorine and to the sight of pristine white walls and a mounted TV with the news on about how Endeavor estate burned down. Of course, it burned, the idiot didn't think to make his house fireproof. He was definitely rich enough.

"Ms. L/N I'm glad to see you're awake." You turned to the sweet nurse and smiled a bit at her. She checked your vitals saying she will be back with the doctor to discuss your prognosis. You waited for her to leave before turning back to the news. You wonder how long you were out. Was it hours or has it been a day already?

"You look like shit." You turned to the visitor to see Aizawa standing there with an eyebrow raised.

"Feel like it too." He huffed at that and took a seat in the chair next to your bed. "What happened while I was out?"

"Well as you know he wasn't a pleasantry and we had to put quirk suppressants on him since he was very insistent in burning you to a crisp. By the way, we got everything and I had already saved multiple copies of the audio and paperwork. I sent it to the chief of police himself and other sources so, it wasn't long that Endeavor was put under arrest. Also, Rei and her children are staying at their mother's house for the time being." You smiled at that. At least you know it wasn't in vain.

"So, what's the sort of bad news?" He sighed shuffling deeper into his capture weapon.

"There's a chance you might be charged with trespassing." You expected that "Also, uh, you might be getting visitors from some heroes...I may or may not have told some of the upper heroes about how Endeavor feels about mutant quirks." You weren't entirely sure how to feel about this information but, you didn't have time to worry about that at the moment.

"So, he's arrested, they're working out the evidence, charges, and questioning aaannnddd I might get visitors from heroes I have never seen in person? Interesting." He hummed non-committedly. You waited for the doctor to come in as you thought about everything that was going to happen later on.
