Aotcho is one of the first character the protagonist encounters in Undertale once left alone in the ruins by Toriel. She helps the protagonist along their journey through the Underground.

PROFILE

Appearance

Aotcho is a Boss Monster looking a lot like a human with fair colored skin, and long black hair. She seemingly has bright red eyes, the same color as the center of her Rosary.
She is seen wearing a long purple dress, cut on the sides, with the Delta Rune displayed on her chest. Her arms are covered by loose, pale purple, sleeves which is probably connected to her title neck, it can be noted that she is wearing some sort of chains around one of her wrists. Underneath her dress, she is wearing a pair of black leggings with black low shoes.
Although, sometimes in the game, she can be seen wearing a dark cloak.

Personality

Aotcho is very kind, taking almost immediately the form of a protective older sister. She could be mistaken for a mother due to her gentle nature, she greatly cares about people around her, be it humans or monsters.

Despite being a very gentle and calm person, she loves to learn about weapons, and it is said she tries to make her own.
As she was supposed to be the head of the Royal Guard, she can grow to be very strict when it comes to training, eating, and sleeping, seen as she would grimace if you eat instant noddles during her fight.

Aotcho is shown to easily adapt to things, as she is shown to be pretty nonchalant about getting out of the Underground, and ended up being a model in the True Pacifist ending, Family ending. She adapts to any kind of situation, and doesn't mind when things change, as long as it is not a total shock, or unannounced.

Main Story

Before the events of Undertale , she used to live on the surface, as an experiment. She somehow managed to run away and, out of desperation, jumped from the top of Mount Ebott to escape the scientists.
She ended up being adopted by Toriel and Asgore, and became Asriel's adoptive sister. After the first human fell into the underground, she also became a sister figure to them.
The deaths of her two siblings pushed Asgore to declare war to humanity, and as a result, she chose to retreat with Toriel to the Ruins.

Neutral Route

At the beginning of the game, after Toriel left the protagonist alone with a cell phone and completing a few puzzles, they meet Aotcho, wondering if they were lost and offers to help them go through the ruins and to Toriel's house.
