Sanity: with each demon she kills, the hardest for her not to fall into madness because of the voices in her head telling her that she is just a murderer.

Her history :

she never knew what happened during her childhood. (But I will say so in the bonus)
So her story starts around 4 or 5 years old, when even before she spoke, she was communicating by meowing with cats. It was when she was 5 that she started talking, but never had the audacity to speak with other children for a long time, and spent her time playing, talking, and sleeping with the cats of the town . When she was 7, her parents divorced, and she left to live with her mother for a while. The situation was complicated for a long time (little to eat, social life not extraordinary... ANYWAY!) And still, she could not make any friends other than: cats.
Then she moved in with her dad and it was the worst idea ever: all the kids laughed at her because of her endless love for cats, and that she acted like one.

When she was 11, she went back to her mother's house, and things were starting to get better, although most avoided her because she was "weird".
She had discovered a passion for writing, which of course her mother did not approve of, because it does not make enough money.

It was at this age that she had a little sister (she does not quite know how): Yu.

When she was 12, she began to avoid churches and the sun because it causes itchiness, pimples, and dry skin.

Her younger cousin, Yoichi, had stayed behind because of his 10-year-old legs.
Together they went to see Miyuki's father, to teach them how to defend themselves, because Miyu was not okay to sell her body ...
So Miyu learned about lava breath for a year, before her father died.
Then she traveled for 2 months, and entrusted Yoichi to an old man named "Yukio", and continued on her way to find someone who could teach her something related to fire.

It was in a forest that she encountered the spirit of the first Sun's breathing user : Yoriichi.
That's how she learned that the reason cats loved her so much was because of her sixth sense, the ability to communicate with the dead (cats being connected with the afterlife).

She passed the final selection at 16 and a half, passed it (but damn the fear of her life seeing the mutant demon!).
It was there that she met one of her cousins ​​(the one she considered more of a twin sister than anything else), Mitsuko.

They received their katanas and had to go their separate ways for their missions, but they did send each other a few letters every now and then.

(How do they know each other? By letters, and Mitsuko would sometimes visit Miyuki's family from time to time, on occasions.)

Bonus: between her birth and when she started to memorize things, (a lapse of 5 years), her mother fell into depression after her birth, and this for 3 years. Her father worked hard, and wasn't home often. Which meant that young Miyuki was left alone most of the time.

The upper moon number 3: Akaza.

But, the demon did not attack her (reminder: Akaza refuses to hurt a girl. For reasons that manga readers know). Instead, he tried to calm the wild girl. It was the words of Akaza's (late) fiancée that put her at ease.

That was more or less how she got her first non-cat friend.

(Why Akaza is there? Simple: Muzan gave him the mission to kill all the Shiro, users of lava breath, a breath almost as powerful as the Sun breath).

And this friendship continued for two more years.
When she was 5, she had started talking. Everyone in her family would agree that her first word was "Thank you", but in reality , it was "Uncle". That's what she called the upper moon number 3, "uncle". (By the way, it was thanks to him that she had the light in her eyes. Someone was finally showing her a little affection, and protecting her (as best he could, focking sun-)).

Then, overnight, he disappeared (Muzan had called him back and gave the mission to another demon). The only thing she had left of him was a white cat (turned into a demon), which she called "Blanche".

She has completely forgotten the existence of Akaza, and does not recognize him during the arc "infinity train".

But he never forgot her! And never forgot her, even in the afterlife.

Friends forever they say after all.

Her relationships :

Between her and Mitsuko, it's a great story of friendship and sibling love.
They consider themselves like twins, despite the fact that they are 2 weeks apart (Miyuki being the oldest), and that they have nothing in common. They are the strict opposites.

She gets along very well with most pillars, especially the Love Pilar , and flame Pilar . (Which is ironic since both are cheery and hyper, while she is very very calm and silent, except when it comes to cats, but they have a common passion: FOOD).

Despite the fact that she is not a pillar (even though many consider her as such, she still doesn't understand why), she takes part in meetings and other pillar activities (including training).

She gets along moderately with Shinobu (she can't stand how her cheerful tone is fake) quite well with Himejima , she behaves like a big sister with Muichiro (and she knows how to deal with him thanks to a long talk with Yuichiro), doesn't get along at all with Sanemi, but she can understand his hatred towards demons, and, then, her and Uzui, it's simple,one is going to die (they can't stand each other) , she likes Giyuu, and avoids talking with Obanai (he scares her, he reminds her of a Yokai (Kuchisake onna)). But he loves animals so he can't be a bad person.

She knows them much more than she should since she sees the dead, and communicates with them, therefore, the relatives or the deceased friends of the pillars: she knows them (she appreciates Ruka, Kyojuro's mother, they get along really well and share a lot of anecdotes with each other).

One day she was playing cards with spirits, she had to explain to Rengoku-san that it was normal for the cards to move on their own.

(PS: She behaves like a big sister towards Senjuro, Muichiro, Yuichiro, Genya, Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, Inosuke (with difficulty), and Kanao. She likes the younger ones very much :))
