Here we go with the 4th update.

Ragini is coming out of the kitchen, she's surprised to see Sanskar in the hall she's about to run towards him but stops in the middle when realization hits her, "I don't love you. I can't, I am sorry", her rejection to his proposal.

By seeing her father beside him. She is still in shocked, surprised and worried at the same time, 'why is he here? Is he upto something? Does he even know about me getting married? What would he think of me, liking one and marrying another? Don't tell me, is he here for revenge?....",lot of questions are running through her mind, thats when her father calls for his mother, her dadi comes,

Shekhar: "maa, this is Sanskar, my best friend Ramprasad's son. He is here to help in marriage preparations. His father sent him here. And Sanskar( looking at him), that's my maa, beside her is my daughter Ragini, she is the bride to be (says while pointing towards dadi and Ragini)".

Dadi sees him from top to bottom then his bag, "Isn't it too early for him to be here?", she questions.

Sanskar: "dadiji, I am early because I have some work left to do here".

Dadiji looks at him once again and leaves from there, asks Ragini to follow her. Shekhar shows him guest room and asks him to freshen up. Sanskar nods while thanking him, he leaves.

It's been 2 days, both are ignoring and showing cold shoulder to each other. Sanskar comes out his room in his night wear and sees Ragini, who is sitting in the veranda drying her hair in the presence of sunlight and light breeze. She is wearing halfsaree, hairs to the front. He can only see her back and her curves.

Listening to the footsteps,
Ragini: "it's for you", says indirectly referring to herself,  while eyeing the coffee cup on the table which is giving hot waves out, not turning fully towards him.

Sanskar: "is no one home?", asks 'are we alone?' indirectly while looking around the silent environment in the house, takes the cup in his hands.

Ragini: "no, dadi went to temple and dad went outside", hearing her answer he starts walking towards her.

Ragini: "how is it?", asks when she feels like he is approaching her.

Sanskar: "Hot", says in husky voice looking at her back and stands beside her

She eyes him, he looks away immediately and acts like sipping his coffee.

Sanskar: "coffee" says when he still feels her gaze on him, with smile while pointing towards the coffee cup in his hands

She eyes him once again and leaves while shoving her hairs to her back. He looks at her leaving till she is out of her sight while sipping his coffee.

Next morning,

Ragini is climbing the stairs to get the dried up clothes from the roof but stops on her tracks when she sees Sanskar, doing his regular exercise on his undergarments. She's lost in checking him out, his body, his biceps, his muscles flexing everytime he is doing pushups.

Something feels odd and she observes the surroundings that's when she notices heads peeping out from the windows of different buildings in different heights, she eyes them, some hides themselves in fear, others girls ignores her totally and are busy in checking him out. She walks and stands infront of him, he sees her but ignores, turns other side and continues with his exercise. She opens her mouth to say something but thinks it is of no use, remember "you rejected him", her mind reminds her and thinks to leave. Her jealousy is stronger than her mind voice, she gathers her courage to speak,

Ragini: "Mr. Sanskar, Do you think this is Mumbai? You think girls will fall for you if you show your body?", asks angrily.

Sanskar: "my body, my wish", says in his casual tone while doing his exercise.

Ragini angry not on him for ignoring her, but On Herself for making the decision of rejecting his proposal, he is doing this to her because of that decision, she thinks. She remembers the work she had on roof 'clothes', yeah right clothes (active brain😁). She starts pulling those clothes with force, every time she pulled a cloth the string starts vibrating and the clips hanging to it made sound.

Getting disturbed by the sound, he sees in her direction, he understands in an instant that she is showing her anger on the clothes and the sound is the reaction to it. "Behavioural changes because of the environment", he remembers his science lecture and observes the surroundings, 'the peeking heads?'....'don't tell me!', his mind and heart are dancing while he suppresses his smile.

Ragini takes the last piece of cloth and was about to step on the stairs, he holds her hand which stops her from leaving.

Sanskar: "Are you jealous?", he asks out of nowhere.

Ragini: "No", says not looking at him.

Sanskar: "Are you jealous?", this time extra sweetly which melts her heart and he knows it😉

Ragini: "yes, I am. So what?", says in angry tone while throwing the clothes aside. Her heart is melted for his sweet voice but she doesn't want to show it out.

Sanskar: "nothing", says turns away to suppress his laughter.

Ragini: "Are you here to take revenge on me?", questions innocently in a low voice.

Sanskar: "revenge? Seriously? Is that how you think about me?", he questions her in return.

Ragini: "then why are you here?"

Sanskar: "ofcourse, to stop you from marrying someone else", says while cupping her face.

Ragini: "how did you know about the marriage?", he explains her the FB.

(Flashback,
As soon as he returns home, he calls that one person from his call logs,

Other person: "Hello! Sanskar",

Sanskar: hello! Sister,

Geethika: "Sanskar, Ragini got engaged today with the guy her dadi choose for her. Her marriage is fixed after a month".

Sanskar: "engagement? Marriage? But she doesn't like the guy!",

Geethika: "how do you know that? Didn't she reject you?",

Sanskar: "she did, but she couldn't hide her real feelings for me and I realized that very late".

Geethika: "I am glad. I thought you would have turned into devdas already", says with smile.

Sanskar: "I was about to, but the late realization helped me", both laughs. That's when he notices something on the coffee table. He takes it in his hands, it's a wedding invitation, RAGINI WEDS LAKSH engraved in big letters.

Geethika: "what are you going to do now?"

Sanskar: "I think I know what to do sister. Tq for informing", says while gazing at the invitation then he hangs up.)
*************************

Present,
Ragini: "but dadi, she won't let me marry you", says with a pout.

Sanskar: "She will and we will be marrying with everyone's permission" he assures her, she nods. "I missed you", he says.

Ragini: "me too", both hug each other.

They break the hug, his eyes falls on her lips but they never officially kissed so he looks away to make his thoughts disappear. Ragini can read through his thoughts, what he is thinking right now she holds his collar and pulls him closer for a kiss. He cups her face, pressing their lips this time for a deep and longer time, which is very much needed after the pain they had gone through because of past few days. They stay like that for few minutes then she leaves from there with the dried clothes.

In the evening,

Dadi: "Ragini, Laksh is waiting outside. Go and talk with him", asks Ragini. Ragini nods, leaves outside.

Sanskar, who is just back to home sees her speaking with someone, smiling awkwardly, he understands that's dadi's chosen guy, thinks to speak with him. Ragini sees him and gets worried 'what if he says something else?'.

Sanskar: "Hi! I am Sanskar. I am......", before he could introduce himself completely Ragini interrupts him

Ragini: "He is my dad's friend's son. He is here to help in marriage preparations", says while completing his sentence.

The guy: "Hi! I am Laksh Maheshwari", he introduces. "Ragini, do you have friends here? I mean, your dadi said, you were studying in Mumbai. So i was just asking?", asks turning towards her.

Ragini: "i do", and looks around for someone, (Swara who was hiding till now while listening to their convo, acts like coming out naturally), she calls her when she notices Swara.

Swara: "Yeah Ragini. Why did you call?"

Ragini: "This is Swara. My best friend", she introduces her. Turning towards her "And Swara, this is Laksh. He is..."

Swara: "I know who he is. I was there on your engagement day", she interrupts, Ragini nods.

Laksh: "shall we speak while walking?", the two girls nods and they start walking.

Ragini & Swara: "ice cream", they Exclaims when they see the icecream vehicle outside, and brings one for each. And continues walking. Whenever he asked Ragini a question Swara answers for her. Swara and Laksh are busy in sharing and comparing their likes and dislikes walking on their own pace ignoring Ragini. Ragini observes this, lets them on their own and slows down her steps.

Sanskar who is following them silently observes this and increases his pace, he holds her hand standing beside her and starts walking.

Ragini: "Sanskar, there are people....", sees around, there is not even a single person out, so she lets him hold her hands.

She holds her hand in front of his mouth asking him to eat the ice cream. He stops in his tracks, holds her hand putting away the icecream, instead kisses her lips while tracing her lips with his tongue and licks the icecream around her mouth. He breaks the kiss, she presses her lips together to hide her blush and continues eating her icecream.

Sanskar: "why did you stop me back there? I would have introduced myself".

Ragini: "Hi! I am Sanskar, Ragini's boyfriend, isn't that how you thought of introducing yourself?"

Sanskar: "boyfriend?", he teases her. "I never imagined you saying this word first. it feels weird".

Ragini: "Am I weird?", questions angrily.

Sanskar: "No, you are my weird girl", says hugging her sideways. She smiles. "I never thought of using that word while introducing to him. And Ragini, what's running in your mind? Are you planning to ruin our chances of getting married from the day 1 of our relationship?", questions her. Ragini gets silent. After sometime,

Ragini: "Sanskar, how are you going to stop the marriage?"

Sanskar: "we still have time for that. I will plan something in the mean time", sees her worry filled face, "if you are that worried then keep boosting me up from time to time".

Ragini: "Boosting? How?"

Sanskar: "Like this", cups her face and kisses her lips, "and just like how you did on the day you rejected me".

Ragini: "that day?", asks in doubt. Sanskar nods and explains her the flashback.

Flashback 1,
After rejecting him she walks away, but comes back to him just after taking few steps hugs him and kisses his lips, then runs away from there. Sanskar's mind is completely filled with her rejection which make him ignore the fact that she hugged and kissed him, thats the Real answer for his confession.

Flashback 2,
Sanskar is riding on the bike, something suddenly flashes in his mind. Something soft and plump pressed against his lips right after her rejection, 'I never kissed before. But those lips? Against mine? Soft and plump? It felt real. I don't think that's a dream', that's when he realises, it's Ragini who did that. Determined to get the answers from her takes a U-turn and returns to home.
FB 1 and 2 ends.

Ragini: "I don't think I did", something flashes in her mind, "Did I?", questions him while questioning herself. Touches her lips and tries to remember something, the touch she felt while kissing him in the morning, she had that feel before as well, "I think I did", says to him while remembering everything, "Wasn't that a dream?", she questions him

Sanskar: "I thought I am a fool for realising it after 2 days. But you are worse than me. How can you forget such an important thing", nods his head in disbelief and face palms.

Ragini: "I was not in my right senses that time so i didn't remember. I am sorry baby. Baby please, will you forgive me?", asks while hugging him. He feels shy and starts blushing hearing the word "Baby" from her mouth, he nods 'okay', she kisses his cheek thanking him and breaks the hug.

RagSan takes back their hands when they see SwaLak coming back.

Laksh: "you are here?", questions Sanskar.

Sanskar: "you both left Ragini alone. So i was just accompanying her".

Laksh: "sorry for that Ragini. It's getting late, shall we go?", everyone nods and leaves after dropping the girls.
*************************

Next day,

Ragini is in the kitchen boiling milk and making tea. Sanskar peeks out of his room, observes elders in the hall busy talking about the marriage preparations and walks into the kitchen.

Sanskar: "good morning", he whispers in her ears while back hugging her.

Ragini: "Sanskar", says in surprised tone. "good morning", she replies.

She turns around, his hands still around her waist. Both kiss each other, her hands around his nape. Both are lost in the kiss, chewing the upper lip then the lower lip. Listening to the footsteps, Ragini gets alert and tries to push him back, but he didn't budge. She pinches his chest, he doesn't even hiss in pain. She slaps his cheek lightly but strong enough to bring him back to reality, he immediately breaks the kiss and holds his cheek in shock. Dadi is just about to enter the kitchen, she immediately turns him and pushes him to the other side.

Dadi: "what are you doing here?", asks while eyeing Sanskar

Sanskar: "dadiji, I am here to drink water", says while taking a glass from the rack.

Dadi: "drink soon and get back to your room immediately. I don't like boys being around my granddaughter. Got it?"

Sanskar: "ji dadiji", he nods. Sees that dadi is still standing there, understands that she won't leave untill he leaves. So immediately drinks water and leaves from there. Dadiji leaves after him.

Ragini serves tea to the elders in the hall, seeing them busy she goes into Sanskar's room and locks the door behind her while sighing. Her eyes fall on Sanskar who is sitting on the bed holding his cheek, still in shock. He looks at her and acts like he is angry while folding his hands and turning his face away.

Ragini: "baby, listen, I am sorry", says sitting beside him, her hands around his waist, hugging him in sideways. Not getting any response, she holds his cheek, turning his face towards her, kisses his cheek continuously while saying sorry everytime to please him.

Sanskar: "it's ok, i forgive you", while placing his finger on her lips to stop her from giving overdose of kisses.

Ragini: "really? Thank you", says and gets up to leave. But comes back, cups his face in her both hands, continues "I am sorry Sanskar. I won't do that again, i promise", this time she kisses his lips for a longer time which he reciprocates and slowly leaves after peeking out of the door.
