Announcement is made for jugal bandi b/w Ragini Gaddodia and Swara Bose. As Swara is not present there Ragini is asked to play the instrument. Ragini starts to plays sitar.

Same like as in the serial Dida goes to find Swara. She comes while playing guitar. Ragini plays sitar. They sing to compete with each other. Ragini's veena string gets broken. Dadi maa gets shocked as Swara wins the competition. Ragini is shocked and teary eyed sees her hurt finger and goes outside. Ragini apologises to her dadi maa. Dadi eyes her angrily. Dadi starts arguing with Dida and calls her shameless. They both indulge in fight, Ragini and Swara makes them apart and leave to their respective houses.

After reaching home, Dadi scolds Ragini. Ragu with teary eyed stands there silently. Shekhar comes there for her support. Ragu thanks him by signing through her eyes, he assures her.

At that time post man comes there.

PM: a letter for Ragini Gaddodia.

Ragini takes the letter from him. After getting signature from her Post man leaves from there. She opens the letter and goes through it.

Dadi: where is the letter from? Who wrote it? What is written in it?

Ragini: dadi maa, papa, I got admission in XYZ college of Mumbai. I can continue my PG there.

Dadi: for that you need to go to Mumbai. It's a new place, new environment and above that you are a girl. How can I send you to a far place? So I can't.

Shekhar: maa, we will make her join in the hostel. My friend Ramprasad is living in Mumbai, if you don't have any problem then Ragini will live with them.

Dadi: does he have a son? If so, what is he studying?

Later Ragini stands infront of her mother's portrait and prays, "maa, you know I got seat in xyz clg in Mumbai. I am soo happy and very much excited. Thank you God for making my dream come true. Maa, you left me when I was little but you always live in my heart. If you were here you will be very happy too by hearing this good news. And you know, dad is very much supportive, like always this time too he supported me and stopped me by getting scolded by dadi. About dadi, like always she agreed to dad and gave me permission & dadaji too gave me permission. I am very happy maa. And you too bless me so that I can successfully complete this new journey of my life".

Shekhar caresses her head, Ragini smiles at him.

Shekhar: beta, when you should join the clg.

Ragini: Monday papa.

Shekhar: oh no, we only have two days left. Go beta and pack your bags we will leave soon.

Ragini starts to packs her things, suddenly someone comes from behind and hugs her.

Ragini: then what? It's been two days we properly met.

Swara: then what can I do? Whenever I came to meet you, your dadi is always there standing beside you like a bodyguard😂😂 and today morning too before I can meet you your dadi and my dida started fighting then how can I meet you?

Ragini: accha baba, ok, saying both starts laughing.

Swara: ok leave that. I got to know that you got seat in Mumbai clg, wow girl congratulations.

Ragini: how you got to know about that?

Swara: how can I can't get to know? Of course it's your dadi, with a drum roll distributing sweets and announcing to the whole area like always to make my dida jealous, saying both laughs while hifi-ing😂😂😂

Ragini: Swara! What are you talking?, says while hitting her hand lightly.

Swara: arre! What swara? You can do whatever you want, no one from here will never know about you until and unless you say about it, specially dadi too can never know. So don't worry just enjoy. Ok?

Ragini: ok meri maa, says while folding her hands.

Swara: and don't forget to bring me something from Mumbai. It may be anything. Ok?

Ragini: ok. Then anything left?

Swara: yessssssss!

Ragini: what's that?

Swara: I will miss you!

Ragini: aww! Me too, saying they both hugs each other.

Swara: ok, Ragu, it's getting late. Bye, love you and happy journey.

Ragini: ok. Bye, love you too and thank you,
saying they both bids bye to each other. Swara climbs down from the window, then bids bye one more time and leaves. Ragu sees her till Swara is out of her eyesight then sighs and then continues packing her things.

Next day,

Ragini, Shekhar and dadi leaves to Mumbai in train. They reaches Mumbai the next day. They book a room in a hotel and gets ready. Later they reaches xyz college and finishes the admission process and leaves for hostel seeing. Shekhar pays the hostel fees, Ragini and dadi leaves for seeing the room as gents are not allowed in ladies hostel. Hostel warden escorts them to the room.

Hostel warden knocks the room door, a lady in her 20's opens the door, dadi gets shocked by that lady's appearance & scolds that lady in her mind.

(Sorry, I couldn't find the perfect picture. So I will explain it to you people. That girl is wearing nightgown as lungi. I hope you understand)

Dadi: excuse me, can we get another room?, Asks dadi to the hotel warden eying that lady.

HW: sorry madam, all rooms are filled this one is only left.

Dadi nods her head still scolding that lady in her mind and enters the room and gets even more shocked by seeing the messy & tidy room and holds her head thinking, "oh meri kattu shyam ji, mujhe pehle hi patha hona chahiye tha agar ladki aise hain tho kamra kaise hoga aur kamre main rehnewale log kaise honge". (oh my god, I should have knew it earlier that, If that girl's appearance is like that then how her room and roommates will be!)

Dadi: can we really can't get another room?

HW: you can only if someone else wants to exchange the room.

Dadi: can you do that for us.

HW: sure, mam we will, saying she leaves from there.

Ragini: it's ok dadi, I will adjust.

Dadi: I know you will adjust but I don't know about these people that's what the problem is! Ok, leave that. First you listen, don't ever talk with them and never think of mingling with them. You may be living with them in a single room but you should think as you are living in this room alone, understand?

Ragini: ji dadi.

Ragini starts arranging her things, dadi helps her. After arranging everything,

Dadi: ok then, I will leave Shekhar must be waiting.

Ragini: dadi, I will also come with you, saying both of them leaves downstairs. Ragu bids bye to her dad and dadi, then both of them leaves and she comes back to her room.

The moment Ragini enters the room her roommates surrounds her. She closes her eyes in fear thinking they will harass her.

Geethika(one of the roommate: oh god! Girl, you no need to close your eyes. We won't do anything to you. (Ragu slowly opens her eyes with hesitation)

Anita: you no need to get fear of us, we may look like rowdies but we are pakka locals, says while gesturing with her fingers like it's their signature step and laughs. Everyone joins along with her and Ragini smiles a little.

Geethika: ok. First let us introduce ourselves. I am Geethika, your senior. That is Deepika(showing another girl) she always behaves as if she is real Deepika padukone(Deepika rolls her eyes and everyone laughs). And she is Anita, that is Divya( showing other two girls) both of them are of your age and they are your classmates. If you need anything you can ask any one of us and we will help you. Ok?

Later in the night,

Ragini is seen sitting beside window and lost in thinking, "my life is beautiful with my family along with my best friend i.e., Swara. They are my world. Thank you god for giving such a beautiful family. I don't have my mother with me, but you gave me mother in the form of dadi. Dadi filled my mother place but still I miss my Janki maa. Dadi may be strict, but she always loved me & took care of me and I love her too. Dad is very supportive and dadaji too never objected me. Swara was always beside be like a bf she always supported me. Now I already started missing my family don't know how I am going to live without them for two years. Whatever it is it was still my decision of studying in Mumbai without my family.

From tomorrow, new phase of my life is going to start that's without my family and friend. Hope, soon I will successfully complete this journey so that I can go to my family very soon. As dadi said, I need to follow her rules, i.e., no talking with strangers specially boys. No eye contact with boys. In total stay away from boys. That's what her main rule is and I am not going to violate any of her rules and that is my rule. I need to prepare myself for tomorrow So, all the very best to myself", after thinking all these to herself she sleeps with a smile on her face.
