X Eyeless Jack 2 (Not Apart of Main Story)

[man I hate this 2017 dumpster fire of a fucking book man, if ur sane check out the newer cooler one with the cooler, dumbassier, edgier NB Y/N 🥱]

"Hey Toby? Why are you staring at me like that?"

"Oh no reason. I ju-just like staring."

"Okay....well, could you stop? It's kinda weird..."

Toby grinned and glanced away from (Y/N) as she was busy washing the dishes in the kitchen; it was her day to do the chores. (Y/N) heaved a sigh and roughly scrubbed at the cup she held, focusing on trying to get out a stain. She felt eyes burning into her and turned to Toby once again, frowning in frustration.

"Toby, what do you want?!"

"To see you and EJ together again~"

(Y/N) stopped scrubbing and glared at Toby with a frozen stare. "We're only friends, you idiot," She muttered, despising Toby as the smirk on his face widened. "Bullshit! You tw-two are more than friends, a-and you know it," Toby snapped, "you're both al-always hanging around each other now a-and there's never a moment I see any-any of you two apart!"

It was true that (Y/N) and EJ had begun to spend a lot more time with each other, ever since that night they had played that game of Truth or Dare. She would never give in to telling Toby, but (Y/N) did eventually begin to develop feelings for EJ; to an extent she never thought would before. (Y/N) came close a few times to telling EJ how she felt, but only chickened out of nervousness or another Creepypasta passing by. She wasn't even sure if Jack still liked her in that way anymore.

"That doesn't mean anything Toby," (Y/N) sighed, trying to ignore Toby by going back to the dishes. "I have to finish these now, so leave me alone."

"Sure, try and get rid o-of me, but I know the truth (Y/N). You can't hide!"

"Toby shut up," Someone else grumbled as they were walking into the kitchen, and both (Y/N) and Toby turned to see Eyeless Jack walking in with an empty glass in hand. "Well if it isn't the lover boy himself, E-J—"

"Go run your mouth somewhere else and quit bothering (Y/N), can't you see she's busy?" Jack interrupted, casting a gaze in Toby's direction. "It's nice of you to def-defend your girlfriend Jackie~"

"Get out!"

Jack hissed and started in Toby's direction, making the proxy laugh aloud and dart away quickly before he could get to him. Jack sighed and walked up beside (Y/N), placing his glass in the sink.

"Hey..." (Y/N) started, a bit lowly, and she gave EJ a slight glance from the side. "How's it going." Jack asked, and she gave a slight shrug of her shoulders.

Even though it was common for them to hang out now, their conversations were always still a bit awkward and short lived. (Y/N) troubled finding words to say, things to impress Jack, and he didn't usually seem to have much to say either.

"Everything's fine. What are you up to?"

"I'm pretty bored. I'd wanted to go hunting with Jeff, but he's too busy playing video games with BEN instead."

"Of course he is," (Y/N) scoffed, taking the glass and cleaning it with the sponge. "I thought maybe you could go with me instead; it could be just the two of us," Jack stated, trying to catch her glance despite her trying to focus on the dishes. (Y/N) smiled a bit to herself, and refused to look back at EJ; she replied, "Sure, I'll come. Just as soon as I finish here."

"Great," Jack nodded his head a bit and quickly looked over the dishes that were left before slowly starting to walk off and out of the kitchen.

(Y/N) bit her tongue feeling her heart racing. "When I go hunting with him later, I've got to tell him..." She whispered to herself."

~
Once (Y/N) was done doing her chores, she was looking to find Eyeless Jack so they could leave together, but when she heard Toby calling her name, she had to make it look as if she was doing something else.

"Hey (Y/N)!" Toby calmed out, and (Y/N) turned to him irritatedly, "What now..."

"The boss needs us for something important, yo-you ought to come."

Now of all times?

"Okay, I'm coming," (Y/N) muttered, and Toby nodded, running off in the direction he came. (Y/N) sighed and slowly followed in way Toby went. Just as she was about to step into Slender's hall, EJ appeared from the corner and stopped in front of her.

"Ready to go?" He asked, cracking a slight grin. "Oh yeah, I just have to see what Slender wants from me and the proxies first, then I'll come," (Y/N) replied; she was almost convinced enough to ignore Slender's call so she could head out with Jack, but she knew better than to go against her boss.

"I'll wait for you outside then, but don't be too long~" He said, brushing purposely past her shoulder before heading away from the hall. (Y/N) chuckled to herself before slowly stepping down the hall towards Slender's office. She walked into the room where the other four proxies were waiting, along with Slender.

"It took you long enough to get here," Masky mumbled, crossing his arms as (Y/N) walked in. "We were called to attention sir, what's needed?" (Y/N) asked, ignoring Masky and walking up to Slenderman curiously.

"There's a certain man I need you five to track down—word has gotten to me that he's been secretly attaining more and more information about the mansion and all of us killers, and his multitude of findings on us could possibly get us all in an unstoppable crisis," Slenderman explained, "I sent the location in your tracking device, Hoodie, so that it should be easier to get to him."

"I've got it sir," Hoodie answered, nodding his head as the widespread image of the map and location appeared in his head. "Good, then it is important that you all head out now. I want him killed on the spot—don't bother bringing him to me. And make sure you destroy all his work and evidence of us."

"Yes Sir!" All the proxies shouted, except for (Y/N).

Great, we have all of this to do and I miss getting the chance to tell EJ....

"(Y/N)?" Slenderman snapped (Y/N) back to attention. "Are you clear with the mission?"

"Yes Sir," (Y/N) nodded her head to prove she heard. The other proxies glared at her strangely, but she ignored them and tried to hide her disappointment.

Come on (Y/N), you're a proxy, not any old killer. You don't have time for outings with EJ—you have REAL work to do...

"Go now," Slenderman ordered, "the quicker you be-rid of the threat, the better for us all."

"Understood," Hoodie started and began to lead the other proxies out of the office. (Y/N) sighed and slowly followed behind the others. She felt someone shove her in the shoulder and turned to face with Toby. "What's wrong?" He asked, sounding a bit concerned, "you seeem u-upset...or scared...is it about the mission?"

"Nothing wrong, I'm fine," (Y/N) muttered, trying to keep up pace with Kate who was close ahead. "Are you sure? Ar-are you mad at me?"

"Not anymore."

Toby slowly eased away from (Y/N), finally just deciding to leave her alone, and (Y/N) grinned, glad he was finally backing off her. Once the three went out the doors of the mansion and headed into the woods, (Y/N) quickly looked around to see if EJ was anywhere near.

Sure enough, he was waiting beside one of the trees, gazing off somewhere into the distance. "Jack?" Masky drew near to the pasta, catching his attention. "What are you doing out here standing idle?"

"One, I can do whatever I want," EJ growled, not bothering to look at Masky, "and two, I was waiting for (Y/N), we were going to go out together."

"REALLY!??" Toby screeched aloud, making Kate and (Y/N) who were beside him jump and glare at him in agitation. "Yes really," Jack said, "But not the kind of 'going out' you're thinking of."

"(Y/N) has work to embark on with the rest of us, she'll have to join you later," Masky stated, "at the moment, we're kind of behind on Slender's plans for getting this done quickly—"

"I'll come along with you guys then," Jack said with a shrug, "I have nothing else better to do. I know it's a proxy mission but I'll stay out of the way whenever you get to the actual 'mission' part."

"Yeah, come with us, Jack!" Toby insisted, running up to him and grabbing his arm, pulling him around the others, "it'll be much more interesting with you here."

(Y/N) grumbled and crossed her arms, looking away from Toby and Jack. Now Toby was going to go and make things more awkward for the both of them. Why couldn't he just leave them alone?

"Let's just go, we're wasting time," Hoodie remarked impatiently, beginning to walk off without the rest of them. Masky trailed behind him quickly and so did Kate. (Y/N) was about to sprint after them but it was too late when Toby grabbed ahold of her arm and pulled her to his side, grinning triumphantly. "It's great t-to be with my two be-bestest friends," He snickered, holding both (Y/N) and EJ close to him.

(Y/N) and Jack only looked at each other and sighed.

~
It was around late afternoon by the time the group reached the target location—an old house set beside a river, a bit close to the woods. The house was surrounded by worn barbed wire barriers, easy to get through if worked around right. Lights were visibly on inside the house through the windows, so it was likely that their target man was inside. Hoodie quickly scanned the area, coming up with a plan for invasion into the house.

"Why not just walk r-right in and slay the guy, then we're done?" Toby asked. "You know that's not how we do things, Toby. This is an important mission, we have to interrogate," Masky replied.

"But interrogation takes forever!"

Masky didn't feel like arguing with Toby, so instead he ignored him and followed Hoodie and Kate as they began walking to the house. (Y/N) was surprised that Toby actually kept up with them rather than stay behind, and once he was ahead, it was just her and Jack.

She looked over at him and smiled, then murmured, "So, what are you going to do while we're in the house?"

"I'm coming with," He said, looking back at her, "I know I said I would stay out of the way, but I'm interested to see what goes on in there."

"I don't have a problem with it at all."

"I know you wouldn't."

(Y/N) felt EJ's hand grasp hers suddenly and she chuckled, her face turning slightly red. "I've wanted to talk," Jack stated, slightly swinging their hands together, "but everything between us so far has been so awkward and I never found a right time for us to speak."

"Same here!" (Y/N) exclaimed, "every time Toby or someone else would come around trying to make things weirder for us."

At the sound of herself mentioning Toby, she looked away from EJ towards where the others were. They were all gone now—probably already inside the house taking up the mission. "Uh oh..." (Y/N) muttered, "I probably should've caught up with them..."

"Don't let me stop you then, you should go now," Jack said, pulling his hand away from hers and stuffing it back in his hoodie. (Y/N) frowned, not wanting to have let go, not wanting to worry about her given mission but instead walk hand and hand with EJ through the woods. "I—Is it bad that I..." (Y/N) started quietly and faced him nervously, "that I...I'd rather stay here with you?"

Jack smirked beneath his mask and tilted his head, "Won't you not eventually showing up piss them off? Especially Masky?"

"Yes, it would."

"......You don't even care, do you?"

(Y/N) grinned and chuckled, "not really..."

What am I saying? I'm supposed to care about my job—

Jack took ahold of (Y/N)'s hands and pulled her closer to him. "You're really going to go against Slender's expectations just to stay with me?"

I didn't originally plan to but...

"Yeah...I guess I am."

He stayed quiet for a while, only watching (Y/N) as she shifted her feet nervously, looking down at the ground. "There's also...something I've gotta tell you..." She murmured, trying to make her voice sound less shaky than it really was.

"I'm listening," Jack replied, holding her hands tighter. "Uh...Jack, I—I....I really li—"

(Y/N) trailed off, only now starting to rethink her decision. EJ tilted his head and frowned, "You really li...?"

"I—I should go catch up with the others and help out with the mission."

"Wait, What—?"

(Y/N) quickly pulled away from EJ and started for the house, her whole self shaking.

I'm an idiot...I shouldn't have even bothered...I should've just done what I was supposed to do and then—

She turns when something tugs at the back of her hair. She sees that she's face to face with EJ and he places his hands on her cheeks, pulling her face close to his. "Wh—Jack!" (Y/N) uttered, blushing at how close they were. "What're....What're you doing..."

"Exactly what you were going to do."

(Y/N) slightly held her breath when Jack pushed his lips against hers, keeping her from backing out with his hands on her face. She then relaxed and returned the kiss willingly, knowing this was what she'd wanted for a while now.

Jack slightly pulled away and smiled, rubbing his nose gently against (Y/N)'s. "Can you tell me what you were going to say now?"

(Y/N) looked into the voids of his eyes and nodded slow, murmuring, "Yes...I wanted to say that I really like you Jack. A lot."

"........I know. I figured," He replied plainly, making her tilt her head. "It's too obvious to deny it—you were acting almost like how I was acting around you before," He said, "I figured you were beginning to fall for me over time."

"Yeah..." (Y/N) muttered, "and it seems your feelings haven't for me either...?"

"What do you think," Jack sighed, placing a strand of her hair behind her ear, and she grinned, reaching and hugging her arms around his neck. EJ smirked and leaned into her face again, locking his lips with hers. (Y/N) confidently kissed him back, leaning more and more into his embrace.

~
Meanwhile, the four other proxies had returned from annihilating the target victim, and their clothes were matted and covered with blood. "I'm glad we finally got rid of that resistant asshole," Kate scowled, wiping off some blood from her mask. "Me too; the ones that try to fight back piss me off," Masky said, resting his wrench against his shoulder.

"What matters is that we got the job done," Hoodie stated, "thanks to me..."

"What was that?" Masky grunted, turning to Hoodie, and Hoodie quickly shook his head, smirking. "Hey guys," Toby piped up, catching all of their attention. "I think I know w-why (Y/N) didn't show up."

"There couldn't possibly be any good excuse for why she didn't come with us," Masky snapped. "Oh yes there is~" Toby sniggered, and as they got closer, Toby pointed towards Eyeless Jack and (Y/N) ahead, who were still in the midst of having their 'moment'.

"Well would you look that that, it seems they're finally a thing, huh?" Kate exclaimed, crossing her arms with a smirk. "Thanks to me," Toby chuckled, "if it wasn't for m-me, they'd still be acting all w-weird."

Masky sighed heavily and groaned, more upset about the fact (Y/N) didn't help them with the task. "Hey (Y/N)!! Turns out I was right huh!?" Toby called out to them.

(Y/N) gasped hearing his voice and quickly pulled away from EJ, turning and looking at Toby with wide eyes. "I-I-I—It wasn't—"

"Too late! I've seen it all! You can't hide anything from me now!"

Toby began laughing victoriously, shouting out that his ship had finally sailed, and pissing off the other proxies. Jack glared at him and wrapped an arm around (Y/N)'s shoulders, muttering, "Don't worry about him, just let him have his fun. There really is nothing to hide now."

(Y/N) looked up at him and smiled, leaning into him and resting her head against his shoulder.

"It's great you two are all happy together and whatnot but you didn't show up on the bosses orders," Masky mumbled, crossing his arms, "I ought to tell him—"

"Just let it slide Mask, it was only this one time. She'll know better than to do it again," Hoodie said, a bit relaxed, "don't make a big deal about it."

(Y/N) was glad they were going to let her off the hook this time, but she promised to herself she'd never blow off a mission for anything else ever again. "It won't happen again Masky, Hoodie," She said, walking up to them with EJ. "That's sweet. She b-blew off a mission for her lover," Toby cooed, and (Y/N) glared at him, then plucked him in the forehead.

He only grinned and flipped her off, knowing he can't feel pain. "Let's just go back already," Masky sighed, beginning to leave everyone behind and heading off. EJ followed Masky and took (Y/N)'s hand, and then the two walked behind together.

Toby gleefully watched them beside Kate and Hoodie. "I bet you're happy, huh?" Hoodie laughed, looking at Toby's smile. "Hell yeah. I was r-right about them and my ship just sailed."
