X Eyeless Jack 1 (Not Apart of Main Story)
[I wrote this years ago, give me a break.]
"Hmm, why aren't you bleeding as much as the others?"
Jeff tilted his head as he watched his victim below him, still trembling with life on their bed. He placed his knife right beneath their collarbone and slowly inserted the blade, then drug it across, releasing more blood than before. Jeff laughed and lifted the knife, looking to the man's expression with a dull stare.
"One more cut....just right through your neck. That should do it~!"
...
"....Haha, that's it...that's more like it."
The man went limp beneath the murderer, his arms flailing to the sides of the bed and his eyes half shut, the whites still slightly visible. Jeff backed himself off the bed and turned his attention to the other two in the room that had accompanied him on his hunt.
"The deeds done," Jeff scoffed, trailing his finger across the bloodied knife he wielded, "you can take what you want now, EJ."
"It's about time."
The masked killer brushed past Jeff as he headed for the bed where the dead man lay and took out his scalpel, ready to retrieve his desired prize. Jeff stood beside the other, (Y/N), as they waited for Jack to finish his job.
"Remind me again why it was necessary for me to come along with you two?" (Y/N) asked, crossing her arms as she glanced at Jeff. Without any understandable context as to why she needed to join the two, she was urged to come along with Jeff and his usual companion, Eyeless Jack as they went hunting that night. Remembering the events of the last time she went out with the two, she had absolutely no trust whatsoever in going anywhere with them, but for some reason, here she was tonight.
"It wasn't necessary for you to be here at all," Jeff scoffed, glaring back at (Y/N), "we only brought you here as a possible lookout incase there was any danger. Even though me and EJ are perfectly capable of looking out for ourselves..."
(Y/N) narrowed her eyes and turned from Jeff, looking back to EJ in annoyance. "I knew I should've just stayed back at the mansion," She muttered, grinding her teeth a bit.
After a few minutes of waiting, Jack was finally done gathering the kidneys of the unfortunate man, and he made his way back to the other two with his prize sealed in a jar.
"Done. Let's head out," He said plainly, walking past them both and heading for the for window in which they had broken into. Jeff followed close behind, and (Y/N) came too, though lagging behind a bit.
(Y/N) noticed that as of late, EJ was acting a bit different around her. Normally, the killer wasn't one to speak too much, but whenever she was around him, he'd either drop to uttering a few words here and there, or just stop talking all together.
During their whole hunt that night, EJ had barely said anything at all, and she wondered if it was because of her being around again. (Y/N) was starting to get a bit pissed off by this because she never did shit but she decided to test her assumptions and say something.
"EJ," She started as she pulled herself through the window and landed out on the other side, "What's your catch like tonight? Is it good?"
"Good enough. Could be better," He replied briefly, not once looking back to either her or Jeff. (Y/N) nodded a bit, although she wasn't sure what else to say to him. "What up with you Jack? You've barely talked the whole night, is there something up?" Jeff asked; apparently he wasn't the only one who noticed Jack's awkwardness.
"I'm fine..." He uttered. He slowed down a bit and turned his head; he seemed like he was going to say more for a second, but no words came out and he turned back, speeding up again.
"Probably one of his 'be an asshole to everyone because I feel like it' nights," Jeff muttered, slowing to match pace with with (Y/N), "either its him, or you did it—it's always you."
"The fuck did I do?" (Y/N) snapped, glaring at Jeff. Jeff flipped around his knife a bit in hand and replied, "He always acts strange around you for some reason, every single time. I've noticed it, and so have a few others. What I wanna know is—what tha hell'd ya do to mess him up?"
"I didn't do anything Jeff. I've noticed this too and I don't even know what I did."
"Or...maybe you didn't do anything wrong..."
"I don't think I did, Jeff."
Jeff smirked a bit and murmured, "What you probably did do was stand around and look nice and he liked what he saw after awhile. Now he's a mindless idiot whenever he's around you because of it."
"No way, what the hell?" (Y/N)'s face contorted into a frown, "be serious Jeff. If anything, that guy hates me."
"Orrr he's too busy thinking about what you've got to think straight enough to talk~" Jeff continued to snicker, pushing (Y/N) over the edge. She reached and grabbed him by the neck and held him in a chokehold. "T-T-t...(Y/N)! Let me g-g-go!" Jeff gagged, struggling to remove her arms from him. "You say anything more about me being responsible for his silence, I'll break your neck," (Y/N) hissed, and the psycho frantically nodded his head.
She let him go and he grabbed his neck, rubbing it as he regained his breath. (Y/N) put distance between herself and Jeff to the point where she was walking far off from him, but not too close behind EJ either. She was right in the middle, and that was just fine by her.
~
Once the three had returned to the mansion, Jeff headed straight for upstairs and to his room to change out his bloodied hoodie. EJ headed for the kitchen to store away his catches from their hunt, and (Y/N) entered boredly into the dining area.
"Hey Tic-Tac," She greeted the male who was seated at the dining table, busying himself with finishing a bowl of cereal. "Hey (/N). How'd the h—hunt go?" He replied over a mouthful. (Y/N) sat beside him and sighed, brushing some hair out of her face, "It was alright I suppose, other than the fact I really wasn't needed there. Jeff kept blamin me for EJ being quiet again."
"That so?"
"Yeah...What's with the smirk...?"
Toby grinned. He wiped his sleeve across face and turned to (Y/N), his eyes gleaming. "Remember what hap-hap-p-pened the last time with you and EJ?"
"What happened."
"The time he offered you kidneys and you tried them bec—cause you didn't want him to feel bad. Then, when he wiped the blood off-f of your face with his hands, you two just stared at each other. I know I saw s-something between you two then..."
(Y/N) shook her head and stood up from the table, "I'm not doing this."
"No wait (Y/N), just listen!" Toby exclaimed, pulling her back down into her chair. "I really th-think he likes ya, (Y/N)."
"We don't even talk. Like—ever."
"So?"
(Y/N) was about snap at Toby when EJ slowly walked into the room, carrying his bag of kidneys in hand. He briefly acknowledged the presence of (Y/N) and Toby and sat across from them on the other side of the table.
The two glared at him, then back at each other. "Sorry (Y-Y/N), you're really gonna hate me for this," Toby whispered, grabbing her arm and pulling her up, "but I need this t-to happen!"
"What are you doi—"
He quickly dragged her from her seat and pulled her over to the other side of the table where EJ sat. When they came close, EJ turned to them and glared in silence.
"Hey EJ, wanna play a game with us?" Toby asked, grinning widely at the masked killer. "What game, exactly?" He questioned, ripping they kidney he had out of his mouth. "It's a game called....Truth Or Dare. Wanna play?"
"....No thanks."
"Why not?? EJ come on. I won't leave you al-l-one until you accept!"
"Toby, he said no, leave it be," (Y/N) muttered, feeling awkward standing there near him. "No. We ne-need EJ to play, and we won't leave him alone until he agrees to play."
"Then suit yourself with waiting forever, because I'm not going to say yes," Jack muttered, turning away from them and going back to eating. Toby stared at him for a bit before raising his hands and slowly, he began poking Jack's face.
"Come on EJ come on come on," He continuously repeated, poking him nonstop. Jack growled, trying to ignore Toby, but couldn't necessarily focus when the dude was busy poking his face.
"Toby stop."
"No. Play with us."
"No."
"EJ pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee."
"I said no."
"Can we go, Toby?" (Y/N) grumbled, pulling his arms, but he didn't budge and continued bother Jack. Jack's growling grew louder until he suddenly turned and grabbed Toby's arm, half-way twisting it. "I said no, you stubborn bastard!" He hissed, his sharp teeth barring at him threateningly.
Toby only stared at him, then raised his other hand and poked EJ directly into the cheek. Jack just stared at him in silence before giving a heavy sigh and letting go of Toby's arm, "You know what? I give up, you win. I'll play your stupid game."
"HELL YEAH!"
(Y/N) facepalmed and glared at Toby angrily as he wore a triumphant smile on his face. "What are you DOING?" She muttered, not looking forward to having to play Truth or Dare with him and EJ.
~
"Mind telling me why's it only the three of us playing?"
"Because it's much easier and more fun this way."
"I'd suspect it'd be more fun with more participants..."
"Not tonight it wouldn't!"
(Y/N) groaned and rested her chin on her hand, her elbow propped on her knee as she sat with EJ and Toby on the ground of Toby's room, being forced to play his game of Truth or Dare.
"Alright," Toby exclaimed lightly, "who wants to go first?"
"Not me," Both EJ and (Y/N) exclaimed at the same time, then they glanced at each other in shock. Toby snickered and crossed his arms over his chest with a smile, "I'll go first then. Hmm...(Y/N), Truth or Dare?"
"Truth," (Y/N) muttered.
"Is it true that I-I'm your bestest friend in the mansion?"
"Not really, but if it makes you feel better."
Toby poured, "Fine, if you wanna be that way. Your turn to ask one of us, (Y/N)."
(Y/N) looked between Toby and EJ, then decided to pick EJ just to make it go in order. "Jack, Truth or Dare?"
"Truth."
"Geez you guys are lame," Toby muttered, but (Y/N) ignored him. "Jack, is it true that kidneys are the only thing you eat?"
"I could eat other organs besides kidneys, but it's just that I prefer those," He answered. "I'm not really to fond of the others."
"Ok cool," (Y/N) shrugged a bit and turned to Toby. "Alright Toby," Truth or Dare," Jack asked, and Toby piped up, "Dare!"
"Fine. I dare you to go without eating waffles for the whole day tomorrow," Jack said with a smirk, and Toby's eyes widened as he glared at him. "You monster, you kn-know I cant go a day without having my c-comfort food..."
"Well now you have to, unless you want to go against the Dare..." Jack responded, raising an eyebrow. Toby groaned and crossed his arms, turning away from Jack. "Whatever. (Y/N), T or D."
"Truth."
".....This i-is going to be a long night..."
~
"Toby, this game has been going on long enough. Neither of us even want to play anymore!" Jack scowled. "Well, it's not my fault you two are both wimps and w-won't pick Dare, and I won't stop u-until one of you say Dare!" Toby retorted, his arms folded.
The three had been going at it for the past hour and a half now, and Toby showed no signs of giving up, or letting Jack and (Y/N) quit. (Y/N) knew for sure that she was already humiliated by half of the Truths EJ had to answer from Toby; "Is it true that you have a crush in the mansion?" "Is it true that your favorite person in this mansion happens to be one of Slender's proxies?" "Is it true that you're scared of (Y/N)?" "Is it true you like (Y/N)?"
All questions (Y/N) knew Toby had come up with on purpose to prove that Jack might like her.
"Fine!" EJ finally hissed, completely tired of playing the game. "I'll just pick Dare next so we can finish this already!
"Good," Toby replied with a smirk, "Then EJ, dare you to confess your f-feelings for (Y/N) and give her a kiss."
"What!?" Jack exclaimed, jumping up from where he sat; the faintest tint of red was spread on his gray cheeks as he glared at Toby in anger, and (Y/N) remained frozen. "I don't have any feelings for her whatsoever and I'm most definitely not going to kiss her!"
"Aw c-come on Jack, it's so obvious that you like 'er. No wonder you never say m-much whenever she's around."
"That means nothing Toby! Nothing!"
"So....you're j-just going to back out of the Dare...?"
"Yes I'm backing out, and I quit this game," He sneered, walking past Toby and (Y/N) and heading out of the room. He slammed the door behind him, leaving (Y/N) and Toby to sit in the silence.
(Y/N) was too embarrassed to say anything to Toby—instead she curled up with her arms wrapped around legs and lay on the floor, staring at the floor in horror. "(Y/N)?" Toby murmured, crawling to her and shaking her shoulder, "I know you're ...probably r-really mad at me right now, and I-I don't blame ya...I'm sorry...."
"Now EJ's gonna hate me for eternity." (Y/N) whispered, her grip on her legs tightening, "thanks Toby. Thanks a lot."
Toby felt guilt override him and he sat beside (Y/N) on the floor, silently looking nowhere in particular. After a while of them both remaining quiet, he spoke up with a sigh, "I'll g-go apologize to him, if y-you Want..."
"...No, forget it..." (Y/N) eventually replied. She slowly let go of her legs and sat up from the floor, rubbing her face, "He's probably madder at you. I'll just...apologize for embarrassing him or something...
"..Ok then.."
(Y/N) arose from off of the ground and stumbled out of Toby's room, her walking a bit awkward towards EJ's room. "Maybe I should just leave him alone...he'll get over it," (Y/N) muttered to herself, stuffing her hands in her pockets. "Why am I doing this..."
She came up to the door and stared at it for a bit before knocking lightly on it, awaiting an answer. When no one replied, she knocked again, a bit harder, and heard shuffling, then a voice, "if you're not Toby, come in."
(Y/N) raised an eyebrow, then shrugged and opened the door, slowly walking into his room. She saw Jack just on his bed in the dark; he was sitting in a similar position she was when she was in Toby's room.
Jack slightly looked up and groaned, looking away when he saw (Y/N). "What do you want? I'm guessing Toby sent you?"
"No... I just came to apologize."
"Apologize for what?"
"For uh....Toby being a pain. I didn't want to be dragged into it but hey, it's Toby."
(Y/N) fidgeted a bit and stuffed her hands deeper into her pockets. Jack looked up again and sighed, scooting to the edge of his bed and changing to a normal sitting position. "It's fine," He said, facing the ground, "it's not your fault Toby's a...Toby."
"Yeah," (Y/N) scoffed, a small smile forming on her face. The two remained in an awkward silence for a while, and (Y/N) quietly decided it was time for her to leave. She was about to turn and go when EJ spoke up again, "Maybe want to talk?"
(Y/N) looked over at him, a bit surprised that he had asked that question and shrugged. He patted the spot next to where he was sitting and she walked over, slowly taking a seat beside him. They sat quietly without saying anything for while, making the setting more uncomfortable than before.
After a while, (Y/N) decided to speak up, wanting to break the silence. "Uh...EJ..."
"...(Y/N)...."
(Y/N) fiddled with her hands for a bit before starting again, "This has nothing to do with what happened with Toby but...I always wanted to know if...you hated me or something."
Jack scoffed and turned to her, "Why would I hate you? If I hated you, one, I would've kicked you out of my room the first second you stepped in, two, I wouldn't have even bothered to play Truth or Dare with you and Toby."
"Yeah but...the others say you always act strange and quiet around me and I feel like I'm some sort of bother to you. If I am, you could just say so—I'll go out of my way to avoid you."
Jack remained in a speechless position; he could only stare as (Y/N) looked from him to the ground, clearly unaware of the real reason behind his different behavior around her. "I'm not...you're not a bother to me...at all. And you never have been, (Y/N). It's a bit complicated to explain why I've been acting off..."
He looked aside and shook his head, trying to think. "I just thought I had done something, that's why I assumed," (Y/N) said. EJ turned and tilted his head, "Hm. Alright fine. Do you want to know why Ive been acting so strange? Around you?"
(Y/N) looked at him, unsure, "...Only if you want to tell me...you don't have to."
"Well, I'm going to. Ever since that time I offered you a kidney, Toby wouldn't stop bothering me about me having a thing for you just because I gave it to you and because I wiped the blood from your face. I thought acting mute and less responsive around you would get him to stop, but he never ceased. Now I'm stuck here with you thinking I hate you and that's not what I needed to happen..."
(Y/N) nodded in understanding, now understanding his reason for being weird in her presence. "I understand," She sighed, "I get it. Toby's just a nuisance."
She smiled a bit, glad to find that the masked cannibal apparently didn't despise her existence.
"I mean....even though I was trying to get him off my back, he wasn't wrong..." EJ murmured, scratching the back of his head. "...What do you mean?"
He shifted nervously then took a deep breath before facing her directly, "You...remember Toby's dare....right?"
".....Yes....."
Jack removed his hand from his head and moved closer to (Y/N).
"He said I have to confess my feelings for you...right?"
(Y/N) opened her mouth to reply but no words came out; she only glared helplessly at Jack as he moved closer to her, her face slightly gaining red coloration.
"Ok...well...that just means I have to tell you how I feel and..."
(Y/N) looked down seeing his hand clasp around her own, and she tried to control the slight urge to freak out. She glared into the black essence of where his eyes should've been, feeling her heart beating faster within her.
Don't you dare...
"Well..." Jack murmured, briefly glancing away from her, "I do have feelings for you...I've had for quite a while now. It's not like I ever planned to tell you...or at least this soon like this, but it doesn't matter now."
But why??
"Oh...." Was all (Y/N) stupidly managed to utter out. Half of her was in a tense state, and she wasn't sure what to say or do. She tried looking away to hopefully ease the discomfort, but nothing helped with how close she was sitting next to him.
"(Y/N)...?"
"Yes...EJ..."
"I'm afraid it's....not over yet..." He muttered loosely. "What's not over yet?" She asked, slowly turning her focus back to him. "The dare," He sighed, "but I'm not going to do that if you don't want me to."
(Y/N)'s face burned as she glared at EJ; she didn't know wether to let him go through with this kiss or not—she wasn't even sure how she felt about him. "I don't...care..."She muttered quietly, her hands turning into fists.
"Then I don't care either," He responded in a low whisper. Before (Y/N) could say more or react, Jack leaves.
The End.
[kidding]
Before (Y/N) could say more or react, Jack leaned into her face and pressed his lips lightly against hers. (Y/N) froze, she tensed more as he wrapped his arms around her neck and leaned in more, deepening the kiss.
Wh-What do I do!??
How do I respond to this!??
Unsure how to truly react to this sudden move, (Y/N) only kissed him back a little before slowly pulling herself away and quickly looking down at her lap, her face shaded in dark red. EJ stared for a bit before moving, giving her space and sighing, "Sorry...about that..."
"I-It's Okay...."
"....At least we did the dare, right?"
"....Yeah....we did..."
Jack smiled and rested a hand on (Y/N)'s shoulder. She looked over at him and smiled back, her heart giving a slight twinge. "I'm guessing you're not into me like that, huh?" He stated, removing his hand after a bit. "I...I don't know. I never thought any of the pastas would actually have feelings for me—especially you of all of them," She replied. "I'd have to really think about it..."
"I understand...really, I know all of this must be plain awkward."
(Y/N) gave a light chuckle and shrugged, "Just a bit but...you're pretty cool so maybe it won't be hard getting to like you."
"We should take it slow," He added, grinning, "for now let's ignore all of this and start off from the beginning, how does that sound?"
"It sounds good to me," (Y/N) replied, and EJ nodded, accepting his own idea. (Y/N) looked at him for a bit, then leaned in and wrapped her arms around him in a hug. He was surprised at first, but slowly hugged her back, resting his chin atop her head.
(Y/N) closed her eyes and fell into the warmth of being embraced in Jack's arms—she never thought in the slightest that she would ever have a chance with anyone in the mansion, but things seemed different now that she knew EJ liked her. Could this possibly be her chance at love? Maybe over time they would grow closer to each other and she may have the chance to get lucky. Who knows.
~Meanwhile~
Ticci-Toby peeps through the door of Eyeless Jack's room, watching him with a very...very wide smirk as he held (Y/N) in a close embrace.
"Hehehehehehehehe~....."
