"I- I don't even know what to say. I'm so shocked!"

"I don't know what to say either, but that's amazing!"

"I know right! Ahh, we get to perform on a big stage in front of a bunch of people!"

"Then that's your dream come true then."

I squeal and clap my hands like a seal. "Ohh maybe I should call Caro?"

"Yeah you should, she would be so shocked to hear the news."

"Okay, I'll call her." I grab my phone and I dial her number.

She quickly answered it. "Hello?"

"Hi, I have some good news!"

"This better be good, I'm trying to watch a kdrama here!"

"Don't worry this will be the greatest news you will even hear!"

"Then what is it, hurry."

"We are going to perform at the GMAS!"

I hear her slap her hand over her mouth. "Did you just say GMAS!?"

"Yep! We get to perform for every intermission!"

"AHHHHHH! NOOO FREAKINGGG WAYYY!"

I pull the phone away and wince, why is everyone screaming over the phone lately? It's starting to become a habit.

"No way, are you really serious!?"

"Yeah, Janette call me just now. She's sending over the details."

"Omg, this is amazing! Did you tell the members yet?"

"No I haven't, can you tell them for me?"

"Yeah sure, I'll call them later when it's morning there."

"Okay, yay I'm so excited."

"Ahhh, me too! I'll call you later okay? I'm gonna call, Henry."

Of course, she has to tell her boyfriend. "Okay, talk to you later!"

"Bye-bye!" She ended the call.

I put my phone down and the table and I start squealing again. "I still can't believe it! We have so much planning and brainstorming to do!"

"You guys gotta start soon since the GMAS is sometime in the last week of December."

"Ohh right, that's gonna be so stressful. And it's early in November now so we only have a few weeks to prepare."

"Good luck on that, but we still gotta get going. We need to record the last song today."

"Ahh, right I forgot about that. Let's get going then?"

"Yeah let's go."

I finish my coffee and I grabbed my two boxes filled with sweets. Jungkook opened the door for me as we both went out, it was much warmer out now that it's around lunchtime. We were walking towards his car.

"Do you wanna grab something to eat for takeout? It's already 11:30 and we didn't eat lunch yet." He says looking at his watch.

"Sure, what should we get?"

"I was thinking subway, what do you think?" He opens the door of the care for me and I get in.

"Ohh I love the subway!" He shuts the door and opens his door.

"Then subway it is!" He gets in and we start heading to a subway.

There was a subway on the same road that heads back to the HYBE building. Since there wasn't a drive-through, we had to go inside and order. There were quite a few people eating lunch, we stood in line and waited for our turn.

Once it was our turn, Jungkook ordered his meal first. "Hi, I'll get a 1-foot meatball sub, Italian herbs & cheese bread, toasted with extra cheese, and a large coke." The employee starts making his sandwich right away.

Once his sandwich was done he turns to look at me. "What about you?"

I turn to the employee and tell her my order. "I'll have a 1-foot Italian herb & cheese bread, with steak please and white cheese, toasted." She does that and started toasting my sandwich. "Then I'll have lettuce, cucumber, and ranch, and that's all." She starts putting on my veggies and sauce. "I'll have a large coke to drink, please. Thank you!"

She wraps up my sandwich and places our food into a bag. "I'll pay for our meal this time." I grab my credit card and give it to the employee.

"I'll only let you pay since you insisted last time that you pay for our next meal."

"If we ever go out to eat again, we can take turns paying."

"Deal!" We shake hands on that.

I finish paying for our food and I grab the bag. Jungkook and I walk out of the subway and we head back to the car. We still had a 20 min drive before we arrived at the building.

We jammed out to random kpop songs as we drove. Carpooling is fun especially when you have the same personality and the same music taste as the person you're carpooling with.

Suddenly 'Bang Bang Bang' by Big Bang starts playing. Jungkook starts clapping his hands along to the song, his hands seen in the wheel.

I playfully slap him on his arm. "Yahh! Keep your hands on the wheel!"

He looks at me and starts clapping his hands above his head with a smile across his face. I keep hitting his arm and he laughs. "Ok fine I will drive properly."

I stop hitting him and sit down properly. "You better." I glare at him before looking out my window.

We were driving across a bridge, I opened my window and rested my arms and head on the window frame. I took in the smell of the air mixed with car pollution. It didn't smell very pleasant by I liked it anyways.

There were sounds of cars honking, cars passing by below us, and the sound of a plane passing by above us. This wasn't something I could experience back home, we lived in a very small area. There were a lot of people living there but it's not like Seoul. Here In Seoul the streets are very lively, filled with a bunch of people shopping and eating street food. Back home we at quite far from the city, in our neighbourhood I barely knew anyone since I never really go out due to being busy. The place that had a lot of people in it was the mall, it was the second-largest mall in the world. It's called East Callingwood Mall, one of my most favourite places to go to.

But back to reality, the sky was bright blue with a few clouds scattered across its blue sea. Barely any birds were flying across the sky since it was winter and the birds are off to a warmer place.

"You okay over there?" Jungkook says not keeping his eyes off the road. I totally forgot about him, I was so lost in thought.

"Huh- ohh yeah I'm fine, I was just thinking about things."

"What were you thinking about?"

"Just stuff, mostly about home. I'm just missing it a lot."

"I know how that feels, I miss my parents home a lot too."

I look down at my hands and fiddle with them. "That must've been hard to be away from home from such a young age."

His hands tighten around the steering wheel turning white, still not keeping an eye off the road. "Yeah it was hard, but I pushed through to achieve my dreams. I missed my family every day."

I stayed silent not wanting to push the topic further, I one that he didn't really want to talk about it.

We ended up changing the topic later on while listening to music.

We arrived at the building and we were currently seated in Jungkook's studio. I took off my jacket and set my things down on the sofa.

"Let's eat now?" Jungkook set the food down on his desk.

"Yeah sure, then we can get right into recording," I say down in the chair beside him.

"Here you go." He hands me my sub and my drink.

I open mine up and we start eating. Our desserts that we brought home were in a fridge in the cafeteria of the building.

We recorded the song after we finished eating. It took us 2 hours to finish recording and it was now 2:35 pm.

"And that's a wrap, good job today."

I hop out of the booth and walk out. "Thank you, you did pretty well yourself today too."

"Are you heading back to the hotel now?" He says, cleaning up the stuff.

"Yep, I need to have a meeting with the members today and see what our plans are."

"I'll drive you back."

"No it's fine, I can take the bus. Plus don't you have stuff scheduled today?"

"I do but I don't need to go until 4, so I'm taking you back."

I start putting on my jacket and getting my purse. "No you aren't, I'm taking the bus back. And that's final!" I playfully point a finger at him.

He grabs my finger and smiles. "No, you aren't."

"Yes, I am." He grabs his jacket and we walk out of his studio, he locks the door behind him and we walk to the elevators.

"I am taking the bus." I cross my arms over my chest and stare straight ahead as the door of the elevator close.

"Nope." He makes sure to exaggerate the end.

I chuckle and whisper under my breath 'just watch'. I am not letting him drive me back, he's already done so much for me.

We walk out and head to the cafeteria to get out dessert boxes. I took my boxes and we head out of the building.

We stop outside at the entrance of the building. "Okay my car is over there, come on." He points in the direction of the parking lot which is opposite the bus stop.

Lucky for me I have a plan. "Hey look it's Jin."

"Jin? What's he doing he-" He didn't get to finish his sentence since I take off running to the bus stop.

"Bye Jungkook! I'll see you next time, I'm taking the bus! Call me or something!" I wave in his direction and I run to the bus stop.

Just as I reach the bus stop, the bus that I was taking pulls up. I get in and I scan my card, I take a seat at an open window so I can see Jungkook.

The bus starts moving and I see Jungkook standing there with his mouth open. I wave goodbye and he shakes his head before waving back.

I look at him until we turn the corner and he is no longer in sight.

I had a good day today, even though last night was chaotic, I still had a good time.

I texted Caro that I was on the way back to the hotel with her sweets.

I made it to the hotel and I was walking to the entrance when I see a familiar woman burst through the door. "You're back! And your alive!"

She runs up to me and hugs me, almost knocking over the boxes in my arms.

"Jeez woman, of course, I'm alive."

She pushes me out of the hug and punches my arm. "You lucky b*tch, you got to stay with the boys." She crossed her arms over her chest and huffed.

I flipped my hair and smiled. "I know I'm lucky."

She smirked and punched me again, this time harder. "Ugh, you're so annoying."

I laughed. "Here take this one, it's yours." I handed her the top box and she happily took it.

She opens the box and looks inside. "I'm not mad at you anymore." She squeals as she sees the desserts inside.

"Good, now come on let's go inside." I loop my arm into hers and we go inside skipping.

It was now 4 pm here in Korea making it 1 pm back in Canada. We were gonna have a meeting with all the members via. FaceTime.

I was in the kitchen getting myself a glass of water when Caro called me saying that the meeting has started.

I took my water and I went to the living room where Caro was. We had the laptop on the living room coffee table, Caro was sitting on the couch and I sat on the floor.

"Hey, guys!" Everyone was sitting on the floor of the dance studio.

"Hii!" Everyone yelled at us. I laughed at their happy energy.

Once they were quiet I start talking again. "Okay so as you all know we were invited to perform at the GMAS-" I wasn't able to finish as I was cut off by screaming and cheering.

They settled down after a few minutes. "So we need to get planning since the GMAS start in the last week of December."

Everyone got serious, Ella spoke up. "So what do we need to do?"

"Well I still need to have a meeting with the producers for the show, I gotta ask what we should perform and how it's gonna work."

"So what are we planning today?" Ella asked.

"Well we gotta brainstorm some of the songs that we can perform, then when I get a proper understanding of the show schedule then we can narrow it down."

"Okay so let's start coming up with ideas."

"Let's start!" Caro said getting excited.

We were on call for another 2 hours before we ended it. We were able to come up with a bunch of songs that we could do for the performances.

I was seated at the desk in the living room facing the big window, Caro went out to go buy some ingredients for our dinner. I was alone and it was 6 pm and it was dark outside.

I was going through the email that the producer of GMAS sent to Janette, there wasn't much detailed information since they wanted to have an in-person meeting. Janette scheduled a meeting with them for tomorrow morning, I am pretty nervous to go. Luckily I'm going with Caro so I'm not by myself.

I was getting bored sitting here, Caro's been gone for 30 minutes already and she's still not back.

There's this song that I want to do a cover on and it's called 'And July' by Heize. I've been really obsessed with it and it's really nice. It has a bit of rap in it, but I wanna challenge myself to sing it.

I'm gonna try doing a karaoke version of it and see if I can sing it. I searched it on YouTube and clicked on the first one.

Since I didn't really know the lyrics I really needed to pay attention to the words.

Caro's POV:

I was at the grocery store strolling through the vegetable section with a basket in hand.

I am buying some ingredients for dinner while Zoey stays back at the hotel doing some planning.

I want to make some jjajangmyeon for dinner tonight since I was craving some.

I was grabbing some potatoes when someone's cart bumps into me. "Ouch!"

I look at the cart and the person pushing it. "Ohh- sorry about that, I wasn't looking where I was going.

"Ohh- Jin? Is that you?" He was wearing a mask and a hat so I couldn't see his face, but I somewhat could recognize his voice.

"Ohh Caro, it's you! It's so good to see you again!" He walks over to me and gives me a hug.

"It's good to see you again too! What are you doing here?"

"Ohh in getting some good since we need to restock on some groceries at home, and you?"

"I'm getting some ingredients for dinner tonight."

He looks at my basket and sees my stuff. "Your making jjajangmyeon aren't you?"

"Yep, it's my favourite!"

I look at his basket and see that's it's filled to the top with a bunch of food, mostly snacks.

"What happened to your hand?" Jin grabs my hand to expect it.

I slowly pull my hand away kind of embarrassed. "I burnt myself while I was cooking." I quietly say as I look down at my feet.

"I do that a lot too, it's good that you dressed it properly."

I look at my hand. "It's happened a lot to me too." I chuckle at myself.

"Hyunggg! Can we get these too?" Jimin comes running towards us with two big boxes of red bean ice cream.

"What are those?" Jin turns to Jimin and looks at the boxes.

"They're ice cream! Can we be them?" Jimin looks at Jin with puppy eyes.

"Hmm, yeah sure." He put them on top of the already full cart.

"Ohh- Caro? What are you doing here?" He comes up and hugs me.

"I'm buying some ingredients for dinner." I show him my basket filled with ingredients.

"Where are the other boys?" Jin says looking around.

"They are somewhere around here."

Jin nods his head.

"Do you guys wanna have dinner with  Zoey and me?" I look at the two boys.

Jimin looks at Jin. "Can we hyung?"

Jin looks at me. "No, it's okay, it'll just be a hassle."

"No it's okay, plus the more company the better. And Zoey and I are going to celebrate the good news."

"Ohh yes I heard, congratulations!"

"Thank you! So in that case, you guys should come over for dinner." I look at him expectantly.

"Well I mean... since it's a celebration, we might as well join you guys."

Jimin claps his hand. "I'll go find the others and tell them!" He runs off skipping.

Jin and I laugh at his cuteness. "Let's go find the rest of the stuff I need."

"Let's go." Jin starts pushing his cart and we walk to go look for more things.

We finished gathering our things and we were paying for our stuff, Jin was already done paying and the boys were taking the bags to their car.

Once I was also done, Jin helped me carry my bags. "You can just drive there with us, we took the can today and there are still a few seats left in there."

"Okay." We walked out of the grocery store as the automatic doors slid open.

It was already dark out and it was a bit chilly, I was smart and wore a jacket and a scarf.

Their car was parked close to the entrance so we didn't need to walk very far. All of the boys were already seated inside of the car, talking amongst themselves.

I sat in the passenger seat as Jin put my stuff in the trunk. When he was done, he jogged one to the driver's side and got in.

"Everyone here?" He looked back at the boys.

"Yes!" All the boys said at the same time.

"Okay! Let's go!" He started the engine and we were off to the hotel.

Zoey's POV:

I was singing peacefully, really get into the mood. I was actually pretty good at this song, I was expecting myself to do good.

I finished the song smoothly and I felt proud of myself. As the song ends I hear clapping behind me.

"AHH!" I spun around and looked behind me. I looked around and saw Caro in between seven men.

Caro laughed at my reaction. "Sorry, we did mean to scare you."

I stood up and slapped her arm. "You nearly gave me a heart attack!"

He laughed. "I said I'm sorry, and the boys are here."

I looked up at them and I smiled. "Hi, guys!"

They took off their masks and hats and they all came in to give me a hug.

"Congrats!" Jin said patting my back.

"Thank you!"

"They're here to have dinner with us, as a little celebration party," Caro said.

"Ohh yay!"

"Here take these." Caro handed me their bags filled with stuff.

"Okay I'll cook these, you can go hang out with them." I gestured to the boys who were seated in the living room.

"No, I'll help you." She started walking to the kitchen but I grab her arm to stop her.

"Nope, you are staying here with them." I look over at the boys and they were talking.

She glances at them before looking at me. "Okay fine, but if you need anything just call me okay?"

I nodded my head and pushes her into the living room. She walked over to them and sat down on the couch.

I brought my bags into the kitchen and set them down on the counter. There were various things inside, I took it all out and laid it on the counter.

From the ingredients, I can tell that I need to make jjajangmyeon, fried pork, and fried shrimp.

I was singing 'Just The Way You Are' as I was getting the tools that I needed when I hear someone clear their throat.

I look at the doorway to find Jungkook leaning against it smiling at me. "You really amaze me sometimes." He walks in and looks at the stuff on the counter.

"Only sometimes? Not all the time?" I smirked at him.

"Always, you always surprise me."

I shake my head and continue what I'm doing. "Do you wanna help me?"

"Yeah, sure! I guess we are making jjajangmyeon, fried pork and grow shrimp?"

"Yep, I'll make the jjajangmyeon you can make the fried food."

"Okay!" He gives me a thumbs up and goes to wash his hands.

I started cooking the noodles in a pot, while Jungkook prepared the shrimp.

Jungkook and I finished preparing our dinner which took a little over 30 minutes.

Once we finished setting the table we called everyone over so we could start eating.

"Everyone! Come on let's eat now!" I sat down in a seat and Jungkook sat beside me.

Everyone walks into the dining room and sat down. Caro went into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of juice. "Since we don't have wine, we can have juice." She also grabbed some wine glasses.

"Here I'll pour everyone a glass." I took the orange juice from her and poured everyone a glass.

Once I finished, Caro stood up holding her glass of juice. "Let's have a toast to today's good news!"

Everyone held up their glasses. "Cheers!" We all clinked our glasses together and we all took a sip.

"Okay, let's eat!" I said clapping my hands.

Everyone started getting food and eating. Jungkook took my bowl and put some black bean noodles in it, he also gave me some fried foods.

"Thank you!" He placed the bowl in front of me.

"You're welcome!" He also grabbed some food for himself. "Ohh your jjajangmyeon is really good!" He says, taking a big bite. 

"Thank you! Caro's best friend's mom taught us how to make it." I glade at Caro and she's talking with Jin.

We all continue to eat as we talk about random things.

The boys had to leave after we ate dinner. More like we ate dinner, had dessert, and talked for an hour.

They were putting on their jackets and shoes getting ready to leave.

"Thank you for having us over!" Namjoon says giving Caro a hug.

"Ohh it's nothing, you guys should have dinner with us sometime again!" Caro says.

"Maybe we will!" Jin says also giving Caro a hug.

I also hug everyone and last was Jungkook. "I'll see you again soon." He says pulling me into a hug.

"Maybe we will." I chuckle as we pull out of the hug.

"Well we need to get going now," Jin says clapping his hands together.

"Thank you for the great meal!" Yoongi says.

"My pleasure!" Caro says.

Taehyung opens the door and they all walk out into the hallway. "Ohh I'll walk you guys out," I say walking out.

But Jin pushed me back inside. "No it's okay, you should go rest now. You have a big day ahead of you."

"No, but I-"

"No, no buts. Go on, we can manage."

"Okay fine."

"Well thank you again, we'll get going now." Namjoon waves as they start walking to the elevator.

Caro and I stand in the hallway waving and saying goodbye until they are in the elevator.

Once they were gone Caro and I went back inside to go clean.
