Winter's P.O.V

"Holy fudge!" I say, looking at the gymnasium which had multiple tables and chairs, a large dance floor in the middle of the room and a stage at the front of the gymnasium. I smile and look at the balloons that were hanging from the ceiling and different coloured streamers that were scattered around the room in a beautiful and cute way.

"Wow," Sam mutters next to me, also taking in the appearance of the large room.

"Winter, this place is cool as fuck!" Amanda squeals in delight as she jumps around me. Hayden stops her from jumping another circle around me and pulls out a chair for her.

"You need to take it easy-"

"I'm feeling fine thanks." Amanda says but sits down anyway, pouring herself a glass of coke. I take a seat next to her and smile, also pouring myself a drink. The boys join us and other people who have also arrived, make their way to the tables.

After ten minutes, the gymnasium was full of students, waiting for the night to start. The Principle comes up on the stage and looks at all of us with a small smile. He stands at the podium and clears his throat before starting his speech.

"Hello students. It is finally the night you've all been waiting for; prom!" The Principle says and the students let out a few whistles and cheers. The Principle nods.

"Since I don't want to keep you all sitting in your seats, I just want to wish you a wonderful night. Remember, you can be whatever you want to be-"

"LET US PARTY!" A person yells and we all laugh. The Principle rolls his eyes but nods.

"Okay. Have a wonderful night students!" The Principle says before walking off the stage. I laugh and watch as everyone stands up when the music starts to play. I stand up and help Amanda but since she is stubborn, she pushes my hand away and rolls her eyes.

"I'm not crippled. I can stand." Amanda says and I shrug.

"I was just helping." I say, smiling at Amanda. Amanda rolls her eyes again and walks to the dance floor with Hayden. Alec walks off with Cole towards the drinks and food and I stand next to Sam, watching as he looks at nothing in particular.

"Whats up?" I ask him and he looks at me, shaking his head.

"I was just thinking." I say and I raise my eyebrow. Sam rolls his eyes and grabs my hand.

"Don't worry. Let's just enjoy the night, yeah?" Sam asks and I nod, smiling.

Nick's P.O.V

"Are you nearly finished?" Kate asks and I roll my eyes.

"Shut up and let me do what I do best, okay?" I say and Kate sighs and taps her foot impatiently beside me. I connect the two cords together and clap my hands together.

"Now, all we have to do is find a match." I say and Kate looks around and shrugs. I purse my lips together and scratch my head, trying to think where a match would be.

"Where is your science lab?" I ask and Kate grins, walking out of the door. I stand and follow her, grinning as I hear the music from the gymnasium play.

Karma is a bitch.

Winter's P.O.V

"Dancing in the mirror, singing in the shower!" Everyone sings as we all dance around the dance floor, enjoying the lights flashing around the gymnasium.

"Winter!" I hear someone yell. I turn around and see Alec calling me over. I squish past the crowd of teenagers and make my way to Alec. He grabs my wrist and pulls me out of the gym.

"Whats going on?" I ask and Alec pulls me up the stairs and crouches behind the corner of the gym. He points to the cafeteria and I narrow my eyes, looking at the two people who were kissing against the table. I scrunch up my face.

"Ew, Alec-"

"Not them... them!" Alec says, pointing closer at the two people walking into the cafeteria kitchen. I narrow my eyes and notice the two people as Kate and Nick.

"What are they doing?" I ask and Alec shrugs.

"I don't know but I think we should go tell Sam and Amanda and probably ask Gemma if she knows what's going on." Alec says and I nod, following Alec back into the gym.

"You tell Sam and Amanda while I find Gemma." I say and Alec nods.

I knew something was going to happen tonight.

Gemma's P.O.V

"Why, why, why?" I chant, trying to rub the pink liquid off my dress. My best friend, Holly, smiles.

"Your dress is pink, I don't see what the problem is." Holly says, grinning as she watches me try to rub the stain out of my dress. I look up at Holly and frown.

Holly has been my best friend ever since I was three. Our parents knew each other and thats how I met Holly. She has dark black hair and bright blue eyes, freckles and pink lips. She is gorgeous.

"The problem is that I have a stain on my dress that wasn't there before so therefore I am trying to wash it out." I say, going back to rubbing the red stain.

"Wow." Holly chuckles, shaking her head. I glare at her before muttering some incoherent words to myself. I hear the bathroom door open and we both look up to see Winter in a beautiful turquoise dress.

"Gemma..." Winter says, completely out of breath. I stop rubbing my dress and look at Winter, my eyebrows furrowed.

"Yes?" I ask and Winter fans herself before looking me in the eye.

"Why is Kate here?" Winter asks and I laugh.

"She's allowed to be here-"

"Then why isn't she in a dress or why isn't she here? Why did I see her in the cafeteria?" Winter blurts out and Holly looks at me, grinning.

"Someone's spiked her drink..." Holly smirks and I roll my eyes.

"Where is she?" I ask and Winter grabs my wrist and pulls me out of the bathroom. Holly follows after us, laughing.

"Go ask her why she is here..." Winter whispers and I roll my eyes, nodding. I walk into the cafeteria and see Kate on her phone, probably on Snapchat like usual.

"Hey," I start off, taking a seat next to her. Kate looks up at me and glares.

"Shouldn't you be spending time with Winter? Your 'best friend'?" Kate snaps and I furrow my brows at her.

"What are you talking about, Kate?" I ask and Kate rolls her eyes.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about. Your friends with the girl you used to bully for years. Why? Oh, probably because you want to steal her boyfriend off her? I mean, it does sound like you." Kate says, looking back at her phone. I raise my eyebrow in shock.

"Excuse me?" I say. Kate chuckles and shakes her head, placing her phone on the table.

"Or is it because you want to be Amanda's best friend again like old times?" Kate raises her eyebrow and I glare at her.

"What the hell are you on about? I'm just clearing everything between Winter and I am not becoming her best friend." I say, narrowing my eyes at Kate. She laughs and stands up when she hears her phone beep. Kate looks at her phone before grinning.

"I have to go somewhere." Kate says before walking off. Before she leaves the cafeteria, she turns around and smirks.

"Maybe next time you will think twice about dogging me." Kate says with a wink before walking out the door. I narrow my eyes at the door and think to myself.

What was that suppose to mean?

Winter's P.O.V

"Did she say anything?" I ask as Gemma, Holly and I walk back into the gymnasium.

"Not anything suspicious. Expect though, she did say something about maybe next time I will think twice about dogging her." Gemma says and I furrow my brows.

"Hmm, that's wierd." I say and Gemma nods.

"Yeah."

"Where the hell have you been! And what are you doing with her?" Amanda runs up to me and starts glaring at Gemma. I sigh, about to explain but Gemma cuts me off.

"Don't talk about me like I'm some mean bitch. I did nothing to you!" Gemma glares at Amanda and Amanda laughs.

"Ha, you did everything to me." Amanda says.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realise I was the one who left and stopped talking to you and everything!" Gemma says, gritting her teeth. Amanda narrows her eyes and holds onto the cast that was onto her cast.

"Don't you dare use the past against me, Gemma." Amanda warns, her eyes glaring into Gemma's head.

"I just did. I still haven't heard a 'sorry for everything I did back when my parents got divorced' come out of your mouth." Gemma says, placing a hand on her hip. I bite my lip and watch the scene fold out. Amanda grits her teeth and clenchs her jaw.

"You don't deserve that apology. Not now, not ever." Amanda spits, looking up and down at Gemma in disgust. Gemma glares at Amanda and she glares back. I sigh and step in between the two and look at the pair.

"C'mon, it's prom. Can we just have a night where there are no arguments?" I ask and Amanda shrugs and so does Gemma.

"If she stays away from me then yes." Gemma says and Amanda nods, grinning at Gemma.

"I didn't want to be near you in the first place." Amanda says before dragging me to the drinks. I sigh and watch as Amanda pours her drink, spilling half of it on the table.

"You okay?"

"Fantastic." Amanda says, sitting at a table. I sigh again and watch as Sam and the boys make there way over to the table.

Why can't we all get along for just one night?

Nick's P.O.V

I'll be there in a second. - Kate

I nod to the message and place my phone down, spinning the match that was in my hand. The music was still loud from the gym but I ignored it, thinking about the plan. I could see Kate walking from a distance and I stand up from my crouching position and walk towards her.

"Ready?" I ask and Kate smirks.

"Oh hell yeah." Kate says and I grin, walking to the place where the gasoline was. I pick up the gasoline and pour it in a circle near the fire alarm. I look at Kate and she watches me, the smirk not going off her face.

"Go on." Kate urges, looking at the match. I pull out a lighter from my pocket and light the match. I watch as the glow of the fire begins to burn the stick and I knew that the time I was about to through it in the gasoline; so I did.

The fire immediately begins to grow and Kate and I start to run outside of the building, running away from the fire. We hear the fire alarms go off and I click the button on my index finger which turns off all the power.

I smirk and listen to the screams that were being made from the gymnasium.

Ah, the sweet sound of revenge.

Winter's P.O.V

"What the fuck!" Amanda shouts, placing her arms over her head as the water from the sprinklers fall down on everyone. The screams bounce off the walls of the gymnasium as everyone looks at each other in panic. Suddenly, the smell of smoke alerts everyone, including me. My heart begins to race.

"Smoke..." I mumble, looking at Amanda with worry. The memory quickly flashes in my head and I breathe in a sharp breath.

"Kyle!" I shout, coughing every few seconds as I walk into different rooms, trying to find my brother. I hear Kyle cough and I shout his name again.

"Winter, I'm-" Kyle coughs. "I'm in here." Kyle says loud enough for me to hear and I run to the sound of his voice, trying to dodge the flames that were surrounding the room. I find Kyle and run next to him, cuddling him.

"I found you." I mumble and Kyle coughs loudly before standing, picking me up with him.

"Yes you did," Kyle says and I smile before coughing into my hands. Kyle pulls me closer to his chest and starts to run out of the room when pieces of the ceiling starts to fall.

"Shit!" Kyle curses and throws me into the hallway. I land with a thud but stand up, about to run to Kyle but he holds his hand up.

"Get... help." He says and before I could say anything, a piece of the ceiling falls, blocking the doorway so I couldn't see him. I gasp and shout Kyle's name loudly, banging on the ceiling that fell and blocked the door.

"Hey, hey!" Amanda says, tapping my cheek slightly. I shake my head and open my eyes, looking at a worried Amanda.

"Its the flashbacks..." Amanda says quietly and I nod. Amanda grabs my arm and pulls me off the ground. The teachers start to evacuate everyone and we all start to head off, following the group of students that were in a hurry to exit the gymnasium.

Oh shit! What have Nick and Kate done! Everyone's going to die! No! Haha, joking but seriously though, what the hell have Nick and Kate done? Did Nick forget that his sister was in there too or was he in his own world?
