Note to self: Grey is great with people and doing well with younger kids/babies, but no other dogs aside from his half-sister.

It was incredible to see Grey lick a baby after the said baby smacked him in his face. I was worried about how he would be with little ones, and to find out my worry was for nothing is so relieving. Although, him having a few interactions with kids isn't a guarantee that he would be okay with a permanent kid running around the house. That's a worry for later on though.

Anyway, I got dressed up today with makeup and a red dress that I wore for my cousin's wedding. I only wore it once during the winter, but I absolutely love the dress. I don't remember loving it so much. It's so comfortable and my dog's hair literally fell of it and didn't stay on. That's such an achievement with a husky!

So I was dressed up and had to constantly keep a tight hold on my dog because he did not like the female dog who lived at my mom's cousin's house (he had his wedding in his backyard).

And that's when I slowly realized that Grey is not the best when it comes to other dogs. I also found out that he loves horses. Plus, I think he made friends with a pig. He also got to watch ducks and kids run around. It was great.

Aside from the fact that a few more dogs came to the wedding and it became a nightmare before we left at a quarter to seven.

The wedding ceremony was simple and beautiful. I've seen backyard weddings before, but they always seem so breathtaking to me.

It was great to see family and hang out for five hours. It felt like everything that's happening in the world slipped away and we could have fun.

And the best part about today was getting I've cream on the ride home (almost two hours) and my mom's ice cream exploded everywhere in the van when she tried to take off the paper on the cone and accidentally crushed it.

There was strawberry ice cream all down her arms and lap. It was crazy.

But the soft serve strawberry ice cream in chocolate and peanut dipped waffle cone was amazing. I've never gone to the ice cream place before and I didn't see the name, but it was so good!

So, yeah! I'm laying in bed writing this while Trixie is sleeping above my head. I definitely missed my cat since I barely saw before we left and since we came back until it was time for bed. Then she got all-loving like she normally does.

Though I don't know what she did today and she's acting really sleepy.

Now I've got to get to bed. I have to get up early tomorrow. It won't be a super busy day, just a busy morning.

This next week, I plan on writing and getting myself back on a routine of waking up early as I'm about two months away from starting school!

It's crunch time! Time's running out and there are a lot of things I want to get done before it runs out completely. I should probably make a list.

And with that thought, I'm going to bed.
