This Week
Now that the holidays are over, things can finally go back to normal. After this week, that is.
Two weeks ago, this week's work schedule came out (I have been off work since the 23rd aside from this past Friday as we had a meeting and had to clean up our classrooms), and I'm scheduled to work 40 hours.
Well, Thursday I was asked to come in an hour earlier and by my calculations, I am scheduled for over 40 hours which work doesn't like us doing.
Anyway, besides my new full-time work schedule, I have my very important test for the Vet Tech program on Saturday and I. Am. Freaking. Out!
Studying hasn't gone as far as I should be if I am being quite honest.
Update: I was going to publish this on Sunday, but then thought realistically about my goal and was shooting for yesterday. Obviously, that didn't happen.
Work has been going good. I've been pretty tired because of studying. This test is going to kill me, honestly.
And something else came up this week. My car has hit its limit. This car has been with me since I first started college, was with me for three dating relationships, one accident, and served me faithfully for over three years.
I'm sad to see our time has ended, but I'm excited at the thought of getting a car that isn't the same age as me!
In all seriousness, this week is going to be tough. Not because of work, but more of balancing sleep and major study cram sessions.
The future I have been picturing for so long is almost here and I'm...feeling. Everything from excitement to sorrow at the idea of me losing the rest of my freedom before adult life really hits me.
Two full years of school, then I plan to work for a year working in a private practice clinic before moving towards something more exotic.
That's the plan anyway, one can never know what really will happen. Here's to a promising year in 2020!

P.S. I know a lot about electrical currents, fun fact. Who knew?
