I apologize for the wait. I wanted to post an update on Monday after I heard back from the job that I was applying for. As you can see, that didn't go to plan.

Nothing, it seems, is going to plan for me.

I got a call on Monday morning from the manager. After everything and this whole process, I ended up not getting the job after all.

I spent Monday trying to process this loss. Luckily, my sister's boss had been asking about hiring some extra help. We talked through everything. So not a totally loss, but I was really excited about the manger position as it seemed like it would fit me.

On Tuesday, I was hit with a bit of depression. I'm still recovering from that depressive episode. I also haven't felt the best. I think a cold has gone through my household. And it doesn't help that I'm also dealing with my period. Plus my sisters and I are on the same cycle somehow. That never happens.

On Wednesday, I spent the whole day reading. Plus, I put away all of my Christmas stuff from my room. We have plans to put away all of the Christmas stuff from the rest of the house today and tomorrow as my sister is having a party for her birthday on Monday.

Yesterday, I was prepared to sit down and write this, however, I was having a lot of computer and Wi-Fi problems and I ended up giving up. I did go grocery shopping with my mom yesterday, so I did get out of the house. Between feeling sick, my period, and this disappointment of a job search, I needed to get out of the house for some time.

And I got a call from my sister who told me that her boss is waiting until after her surgery before she can me on if she wants. Her surgery is on Tuesday, so I should hear from her boss next week. Due to the surgery, her boss won't be able to work (cut hair) for three months. Although she will be in the store sometimes.

Not all bad news this week. A little upsetting in the beginning and had some rough patches throughout, but I'm starting to feel somewhat better.

....

Well, it's hours later and things have happened.

I ended up being productive and carried up all of the Christmas boxes from downstairs. My mom and I put everything into the boxes, which was a easier process than years prior as we decluttered the boxes last month. Still a bit of a process getting everything into boxes. Then I took the boxes downstairs and organized the boxes. Aside from the Christmas tree box as it needs two people to take down.

Not much else I want to write, I guess.

There was more I wanted to say, but I moved past all of those thoughts now.

Oh! I also wanted to say that my grandma is coming over tomorrow and she will be staying with us until Tuesday for my sister's birthday. So I'm looking forward to that.

Other than that, my chore day is tomorrow and I'm currently watching my sister's dog while rewatching Kuroko's Basketball.

Not much else going on at the moment in my life.
