The Last Few Days

I wanted to give an update since I did say I was going to have a busy Sunday morning and, as I've said before, I do go back and reread these, so I love to put in some things that I want to remember.

Sunday morning, I got to go to my younger sister's graduation ceremony at our church and then went out for brunch. It was the first time I'd been to a restaurant since...sometime last year.

It's funny how nothing really changed in my life since this pandemic has started, just minor inconveniences that I can live with.

Anyway, it was a very nice time with family.

And while I was cooking bacon for BLTs that night for dinner, I got hit by grease really bad that I still have the red marks on my right hand from the burns. It hurt, but I'm surprised it made clear marks on my skin. It wasn't too bad, though.

Later on that night, however, was terrible. I was sick to my stomach and I was on the verge of throwing up. I hadn't felt that bad in a while. I'm fine. I'm not sick.

And then yesterday, I went on a 2.5-mile walk with my dad and Grey. That was fun.

I've gotten out more lately and I was finally able to go to the dentist after my March appointment was canceled. The hygienist said my teeth were perfect and I haven't heard that in years.

I tried writing today and I'm getting back into the rhythm for The Personal Secret, but I'm shocked at the fact that it's taken me so long to finish (or even continue to write/get further in the book) The Unknown Assassin of Choas!

I don't know why I thought it was a good idea to start it so close to the fall semester when I knew I was going to be in a math class. I didn't much at that time aside from getting Trixie in November and making sure she didn't get herself stuck somewhere (I failed that many times).

Anyway, that's my little update. I'm not going to edit/reread what I wrote because I'm tired and I stayed up to finish watching The Road to El Dorado while Trixie snuggled with me.

Later!
