We talk about how 2021 has to be a better year than 2020. Nothing could surpass the devastation that the year had taken.

Unfortunately, the first day of 2021 proved me wrong.

I don't blame anyone for what happened. It was an accident.

It looks like 2021 claimed its first life in our family.

She died due to a heart attack.

May she run with Snowflake and Cinnamon and meet the pets we have lost over the years.

It's funny how an ex-boyfriend bought her for me but she became mine wholeheartedly.

I even forgot that he did that.

I love you, Rio.

P.S. I wrote the title silence because ever since she passed, the house has been in silent mourning.

I want to write more in this story part, but I'm having trouble find the words and type them through the blurriness  of my vision due to tears.
