Shutting Everyone Out

I'm so guilty of this.

Sometimes to prevent a panic attack, I don't think of what's causing me to panic.....and I shut everyone out.

The world can't hurt not touch me if I shut it out.

It may seem okay, but in reality...it makes things worse.

Because you're delaying anxiety (which causes panic attacks to be worse), and you're putting yourself into a world of loneliness (no one wants that when they are feeling a panic attack).

Sometimes shutting everything out is good (having a safe haven where you can be alone and away from everything), but sometimes you need people who understand you and can help.
