My Quiet (?) Weekend
Since my parents were up north, I was able to have a pretty quiet weekend. Which means I played music pretty loud and sang even louder.
My sister left for most of the day yesterday, so I was able to belt out song lyrics as loud as I wanted to. It was nice to work on my high notes with no one around.
Mainly I did my chores (did laundry, cleaned Trixie's litter box, cleaned Rio's cage, and picked up Grey's poop from the backyard), vacuumed all of the upstairs, and decluttered/reorganized the linen closet.
Overall, a crazy fun day. Especially since Grey woke me up at 6 in the morning to go to the bathroom. We went back to sleep, woke up after 9, went back to sleep, and then got up after 11. It was a late start for my Saturday chore day, but it all worked out okay!
Today, I woke up at 6 again and wasn't able to go back to sleep. That was fine as I was reading a great book and it took most of today to finish it.
Aside from that, I worked on chapter 5 of The Unknown Assassin of Chaos (that's going a little slow, although I have some big things planned for the chapter!) and started to get ready for this week's work in my terminology course.
My parents got home.
Also, I made an appointment to get my hair tomorrow. I don't know as of right now how short I will be going, but I definitely want it to be above my shoulders.
Wow, I'm posting this before midnight. That hasn't happened in some time.
Anyway! There's my little weekend update.
Thank you for reading!

Note for my future self: 902. Remember this year and summer as the stepping stones of something great. Something so unheard of to (younger) me. It might not seem like a big deal (especially the timeframe of the time it took for this to happen), although when you think about it, it's still impressive. Keep on being genuine!
